We Are Not Dealing With Judges Or Politicians That Have Any Concern For The People Of America

We need to remember that the political left has no desire or requirement in their own minds to play fair. The left has made politics and governing truly a blood sport. It’s getting worse. The American people are the pawns in their game, and now they have expanding that to children.

On Friday, The Gateway Pundit reported:

US Attorney General Pam Bondi went off on Obama-appointed John McConnell for forcing the USDA to raid school-lunch money to fund SNAP benefits.

US District Judge John McConnell, an Obama appointee, scolded DOJ lawyers on Thursday during a hearing and ordered the Trump Administration to fully deliver the SNAP benefits to states by Friday.

“The evidence shows that people will go hungry, food pantries will be overburdened and needless suffering will occur,” Judge McConnell said to the DOJ lawyer on Thursday. “Last weekend, SNAP benefits lapsed for the first time in our nation’s history. This is a problem that could have and should have been avoided.”

More than 40 million Americans rely on SNAP benefits, and the $5 billion emergency fund was not enough to cover the program for November.

…The judge played dirty tricks with the timing of his court order and the First Circuit Court played along to disadvantage the government.

“Why could we file this brief only this morning, with that clock ticking? The First Circuit clerk’s office made it impossible to file sooner,” Bondi said.

“Despite being notified by the government of the high likelihood of fast-moving litigation, the First Circuit clerk’s office refused to answer its phones until this morning, and refused to offer any means of filing this emergency request until it processed certain paperwork during regular business hours,” Bondi said.

I realize that ending the filibuster could be risky in the long term, but the Democrats and their dirty game are giving the Republicans little choice.

The Michigan Terrorism Plot

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported that the two men suspected of planning a Halloween terrorists attack in Michigan. The two suspects are Mohmed Ali, of Dearborn, Michigan, and Majed Mahmoud.

The article reports:

Mohmed Ali, of Dearborn, Michigan, and Majed Mahmoud are accused of plotting to launch a terror-inspired mass shooting codenamed “pumpkin,” according to court documents. They’ve been charged with receiving, transferring and attempting to receive and transfer firearms knowing and having reasonable cause to believe that they would be used to commit terrorism.

Ali practiced shooting at a local gun range multiple times, including with Mahmoud, a juvenile suspect referred to as “Person 1” and under the alias “Athari” — and once with an unnamed “Co-conspirator 4,” according to the complaint.

The charges come after a lawyer for one of the suspects, who was arrested Friday, claimed to The Associated Press that there was no plot and that he did not expect charges to be filed.

The article concludes:

Per a leak to MSNBC: “Senior Justice Department and FBI officials expressed frustration Friday that FBI Director Kash Patel publicly disclosed an investigation into what he called a “potential” Halloween weekend terrorist plot near Detroit — before investigators had a chance to flesh out key details, including whether the attack actually was imminent, two people familiar with the matter told MSNBC.”

The leakers claimed Kash Patel ‘acted hastily’ without Main Justice’s approval.

“Justice officials registered concern that Patel appeared to have acted hastily on the probe without Main Justice’s approval, with the apparent goal of seeking some credit for the FBI, but in a way that could interfere with the investigation, according to the sources. MSNBC has not named them as they fear retaliation,” MSNBC reported.

I tend to look cautiously on any news reported by MSNBC. Remember, there are numerous people in the Justice Department and FBI with deep connections to the deep state who do not love Director Kash Patel.

The Law Of Unintended Consequences

The government shutdown continues. The Democrats refuse to pass a clean continuing resolution identical to thirteen that they have previously passed. The shutdown is on the Democrats–all but one Republican has voted to keep the government open. However, while the shutdown continues, we are learning some interesting things.

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported:

One aspect of the government shutdown that probably wasn’t anticipated by Chuck Schumer and other Democrats, is that it has revealed to the public just how many people receive food stamps.

Years ago, when the program was still called ‘food stamps’ it was seen as something that struggling families might use temporarily to get through a hard time. Then it was re-branded as the ‘SNAP’ program and destigmatized. People were encouraged to enroll. Now there are many more people using the program, many who probably don’t even really need it.

The longer the shutdown goes on, the more reports there are about this and it’s stunning to taxpayers who did not realize until now how incredibly huge this is.

The article quotes The Hill:

More than 40 million low-income food assistance beneficiaries are expected to receive less help with grocery bills — or no help at all — in the coming days.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is threatening to withhold billions of dollars in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) contingency funding, which Congress has already allocated for emergency scenarios, if the government shutdown stretches into November.

According to The Overton News:

“There are 42 million people in this country that need food stamps on a weekly basis.”

“And we’re saying ‘people’ deliberately instead of Americans because most of the people that are on food stamps aren’t even from this country.”

“45% of Afghanistan immigrants are on food stamps.”

“42% of Somali immigrants, 34% of every immigrant from Iraq, 23% of Haitians.”

“59% of ALL illegal aliens are collecting food stamps, meaning that most of the people getting food stamps from the U.S. Government and the U.S. Taxpayer are not even Americans.”

“Think about that.”

“And we didn’t know about any of this before the government shutdown started.”

“But thanks to Democrats, we can confirm tonight that millions of Joe Biden, illegal aliens, people who crossed the border when Joe was president, are now collecting food stamps from a program funded by hardworking American taxpayers.”

This country was built by immigrants who came here, worked hard, didn’t take money from the government, and contributed to the growth of America. I need someone to explain to me how the people who came here illegally and immediately took advantage of government programs are benefiting America.

Rebuking The Lies

On Sunday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about an interview of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on ABC’s This Week.

The article contains text of some of the interview:

Martha Raddatz:
And today is day 26. I know you have been over there, but there has been a government shutdown here. People are suffering. Federal employees are starting to go to food banks. Any light at the end of the tunnel on that? Should the President be meeting with Democrats again?

Scott Bessent:
What good does it do, Martha? They’ve dug in. The American people are hostage to Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries’ poll numbers. Because what’s changed between now and the last time there was a clean continuing resolution is Chuck Schumer has tanked in the polls. Both of the two guys from Brooklyn, as I call them, are worried about being primaried from the left.

The article notes:

Bessent went on to remind viewers that Republicans have voted 11 times to reopen the government, while Democrats, led by Schumer and Jeffries, continue to hold the nation hostage for political gain.

The transcript continues:

Because, Martha, what I can tell you is—we managed to find the money in the middle of October to pay our brave service members, and I think we’ll be able to do it on November 1st. But we’re going to be out of money on November 15th, and for our military not to get paid is a disgrace.

The other thing that’s happening is this is starting to eat into the economy—starting to slow the economy—and we’re also starting to see there’s a problem with air traffic control. So it’s beginning to slow down our nation’s travel.

…Martha Raddatz:
But Secretary Bessent, I should add that the President’s party—your party—controls the White House and both chambers of Congress. You don’t think you bear any responsibility for this?

Scott Bessent:
Martha, what can we do? What can we do for this desperate act? We can call on them to change their minds. Because I can tell you—the $1.5 trillion in spending that they’re calling for—that’s not on the table.

We inherited a mess. We inherited the worst budget deficit-to-GDP ratio when we weren’t in a recession and we weren’t at war. It was 6.4%, 6.5%. We’ve managed to bring that down to 5.9%, and we’re not going to let them be irresponsible with the budget again.

I wonder if Scott Bessent will be invited on the show again! He may be punished for telling the truth!

There Might Be A Pattern Here

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about some rather sketchy mortgage claims in Letitia James’ past.

The article includes the following:

It all began in the spring of 1983, when a 24-year-old Letitia James and her father, Robert James, posing as “husband and wife,” took out a real-estate loan for $30,300 from Kadilac Funding Ltd. for the purchase of a two-story townhome in Queens. The loan document, signed by both, listed “ROBERT JAMES AND LETITIA JAMES, HIS WIFE” in three separate places. This was no clerical error.

At that time, young Letitia likely lacked sufficient income or credit to qualify for a mortgage as a single woman. The fraudulent claim of marriage to her father allowed her to obtain financing she otherwise couldn’t have, an act that meets the legal definition of mortgage fraud under state and federal statutes.

The fraud continued:

In 2020, James purchased a property at 3121 Perone Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia, signing a document claiming it would be her primary or secondary residence, rather than a rental property, to secure a lower interest rate. That misrepresentation recently became part of the criminal indictment against her for mortgage and bank fraud, carrying a potential 30-year prison sentence.

In 2021, James applied for a $200,000 line of credit mortgage from Citizen’s Bank on her 5-unit apartment building in Brooklyn, but in mortgage documents James claimed it only had one apartment unit. Accordingly, James received a lower residential mortgage interest rate she was not entitled to, and avoided a higher commercial loan rate and much higher closing costs.

In 2023, James bought a home at 604 Sterling Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia. Per Sam Antar, Letitia qualified for the loan only after certifying in an updated application that it would be her “primary residence”, even though she lived in Brooklyn.

The article concludes:

Letitia James’s story illustrates the powerful psychology of rationalized fraud – how one minor deception with her father, rewarded and unpunished, can evolve into a lifelong modus operandi of criminal behavior. Over time, the boundary between being “clever” and criminal became blurred for James, warping her moral compass and creating a sense of entitlement.

The irony is staggering. Letitia James, a woman educated at Howard University and charged with enforcing justice, including mortgage laws, appears to have internalized the very behavior she has prosecuted, including the very charges she filed against her most high-profile target, Donald Trump.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

What They Really Wanted

The raid on Mar-a-Lago in April 2022 was puzzling in some ways. The FBI had never before raided a former President’s home, particularly when negotiations for documents were ongoing. The raid included pictures (which we later learned were staged) of numerous documents said to be highly classified. But the raid never really made sense. Now we are learning the actual reason behind the raid (other than to discredit President Trump).

Sperry had his Twitter account taken down that week after he tweeted about the Mar-a-Lago raid and what the FBI was allegedly looking for. The crooked FBI and DOJ was hoping to find and destroy documents to prevent Americans from seeing their criminal acts and attempted coup of the sitting US President.

According to Paul Sperry, the FBI agents spent 9 hours looking for details President Trump took with him on the Crossfire Hurricane FBI spying scandal.

It’s a 40-page report that House Republicans worked on for a long time, not only my committee, and now the current chairman, Rick Crawford, was able to get that information out. It’s a very damning report that showed what? That Russia didn’t think that Trump was going to win, which I think we all know. Once again, just common sense in ’16, why would the Russians be helping someone that they didn’t think was going to win?

Avoiding A Potentially Really Ugly Telecom Threat

On Tuesday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about a potential telecom threat in New York City while President Trump was there.

The article reports:

The US Secret Service announced Tuesday they had disrupted an illicit telecom threat near the United Nations.

The illicit network could have blacked out cell service, shut down cell towers, and jammed 911 calls in New York City and the surrounding area.

According to FOX News the seizure is the largest of its kind.

The investigation has been ongoing for months by the Secret Service made the announcement this morning before President Trump is scheduled to speak at UN headquarters in New York City.

I don’t know what was planned for this threat, but I am glad it was never carried out. Jamming 911 calls in a city the size of New York City could create horrible confusion and possible deaths.

The US Secret Service released this video on Tuesday morning.

Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Office Matt McCool announced that the Secret Service has uncovered and dismantled a large network of fraudulent cellular devices in the New York Tri-State area capable of enabling encrypted communications and threatening local infrastructure.

The article contains Agent McCool’s statement. Below is the conclusion of that statement:

Given the timing, location, and proximity and potential for significant disruptions to the New York telecom system, we move quickly to disrupt this network. To be clear, these recovered devices no longer pose a threat to the New York Tri-state area.

We will continue working identifying those responsible in their intent, including whether their plan was to disrupt the UN General Assembly and communications of government and emergency personnel during the official visit of world leaders in and around New York City.

Forensic examinations of the equivalent of 100,000 cell phones worth of data is underway. Early analysis indicates cellular communications between foreign actors and individuals that are known to federal law enforcement. Given the sensitivity and complexity of this investigation, we are not able to go into specifics at this time. This is an open and active investigation, and we have no arrest to announce today. Rather, this announcement is designed to safeguard critical infrastructure and responsibly provide the public what we can at this time.

A disaster was avoided due to the great work of the Secret Service.

A World Upside Down

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about ABC affiliate anchor Beni Rae Harmony. She resigned after being suspended for paying tribute to Charlie Kirk. There are a lot of stories about people who lost their jobs because they rejoiced at the death of Charlie Kirk, but this is the first I have heard about someone being fired for saying something nice.

The article reports:

Beni Rae Harmony was suspended after she delivered a heartfelt message to her audience after her “mentor,” Charlie Kirk, was gunned down.

“Effective immediately, I have resigned from @WICS_ABC20 after being SUSPENDED for airing a non-partisan tribute to Charlie Kirk this past Friday,” Beni Rae Harmony said.

…“Many in the mainstream media have been fired or punished for mocking his assassination. I believe I am the first to be targeted for honoring him on air,” she said. “My resignation is guided by values that are essential to who I am, which I refuse to set aside in order to keep a job. I choose my faith and love of country, and always will.”

“God Bless Charlie Kirk and his beautiful family, and God Bless these United States of America,” she added.

Does anyone else remember the get-along shirts that you would put siblings in together until they stopped fighting? I think America needs one of those.

Putting Back The Firewall

I will admit that I have never before heard of the Smith-Mundt Act (officially the United States Information and Educational Exchange Act)). This Act was passed in 1948 and allowed the U.S. government to conduct foreign propaganda campaigns, radio, film, exchanges, cultural outreach, aimed at influencing foreign populations during the Cold War.

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about the Act, reporting the following:

But the law contained one critical safeguard: propaganda made for foreign audiences was forbidden from being used inside the United States. Washington could not psy-op its own people. This firewall stood for more than six decades.

In 2012, tucked into the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2013, Congress passed the Smith–Mundt Modernization Act, introduced by Representative Mac Thornberry (R-TX) and signed by Barack Obama on January 2, 2013.

It shredded the firewall and legalized domestic distribution of State Department and U.S. Agency for Global Media (formerly Broadcasting Board of Governors) materials.

By July 2, 2013, it was official: U.S. citizens could now be subjected to the same government-crafted propaganda once reserved for foreigners.

Seven months ago, investigative watchdog Mike Benz revealed to Joe Rogan in an interview what really happened with the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012.

Obama’s “modernization” wasn’t modernization at all; it was the effective repeal of Smith–Mundt, a deliberate move to unleash the State Department, CIA, and USAID’s propaganda weapons on the American people.

The article notes:

Utah Senator Mike Lee announced he will soon introduce groundbreaking legislation to restore the original protections of the Smith-Mundt Act—and he’s renaming it the “Charlie Kirk Act” in honor of the conservative leader assassinated just days ago.

“In the coming days, I’ll be filing my previously drafted legislation to restore Smith-Mundt, and renaming it the Charlie Kirk Act. Domestic, political, government-funded propaganda must end now,” Lee wrote on X.

We have seen the results of government propaganda in recent years. The Smith-Mundt existed from 1948 until 2013 without being used against American citizens. It’s time it was either repealed or brought back to its original form. The change in that law is one more example of the damage done to our Republic by both the Executive Branch of Government and the Legislative Branch of Government during the Obama administration. In a free republic, the government should not be allowed to spew propaganda at the voters.

The Time To Choose

Milton Friedman once stated that you cannot have both an open border and a welfare state simultaneously, as the influx of immigrants could strain welfare resources. However, some economists suggest that limiting immigrants’ access to welfare could allow for both policies to coexist. A quick glance at the economies of the European countries who have attempted to do both confirms Milton Friedman’s statement.

On Saturday, The Gateway Pundit reported:

The Trump administration is putting illegal aliens on notice: taxpayer-funded housing is for AMERICANS, not for those who broke the law to come here.

On Friday, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner announced that all Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) nationwide have 30 days to conduct audits verifying the legal status of every single tenant in Section 8 housing and other HUD-funded programs.

The first housing authority to face scrutiny is Washington, D.C., where Turner confirmed that the DC Housing Authority has already been put on notice, according to Fox News.

More than 3,000 PHAs across the nation are receiving the same marching orders. If they fail to comply, Turner warned, they risk losing federal funding.

Every dollar that pays for public housing comes out of the pockets of the American taxpayer. If a taxpayer chooses to house a non-citizen, that is their business, but government benefits should go to American citizens.

The article states:

Turner revealed that only 1 out of 4 eligible American families currently receives HUD assistance due to past administrations turning a blind eye to illegal alien abuse.

In a blistering letter to every Public Housing Authority (PHA) in America, Turner laid down the law: within 30 days, all housing agencies must provide a full and complete accounting of every tenant living in HUD-funded housing.

That means names, mailing addresses, number of bedrooms, the cost of each unit, and most importantly, proof of American citizenship or legal immigration status.

We have to provide for Americans who are struggling economically before we provide for people who broke the law in coming here.

A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing

The 2026 North Carolina Senate race is going to be expensive, dirty, full of lies, and contentious. Other than that, it will be great. Among other things, the North Carolina Republican Party wants to make sure that former Governor Roy Cooper runs on his record. That record is questionable at best–he is not the moderate he claims to be.

On Sunday, The Gateway Pundit reported:

A video from the North Carolina Republican Party is shedding light on the troubling tenure of outgoing Governor Roy Cooper, who recently announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate, exposing a record of radical policies and governance failures that have left the state grappling with economic and social issues.

Titled “Radical Roy Cooper’s Real Record,” the ad, posted on YouTube, highlights Cooper’s eight years in office, revealing him to be a far-left nutjob whose decisions have undermined North Carolina’s prosperity and safety.

Cooper is running for the Senate seat being vacated by Republican Sen. Thom Tillis, who has announced that he will not seek reelection.

The video outlines several key criticisms of Cooper’s administration.

“He says he’s a moderate, but Roy Cooper’s record tells a radically different story,” the narrator begins.

The article concludes:

Additionally, the video addresses Cooper’s opposition to law enforcement, citing his resistance to supporting Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which some attribute to a spike in crime rates across the state.

President Donald Trump has already endorsed Republican National Committee chair Michael Whatley in the race, though he has not officially announced his candidacy.

I believe that Michael Whatley has announced. Attorney Don Brown has also announced that he is running for Thom Tillis’ Senate Seat as a Republican.

Sad, But Not Surprising

On Wednesday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about former FBI Director Robert Mueller.

The article reports:

Robert Mueller, former FBI Director who was tapped as special counsel to investigate President Trump’s 2016 ‘collusion’ with Russia is reportedly in a memory-care facility.

The news of Mueller’s health decline comes as House Oversight Chairman James Comer issued subpoenas for those involved in the Russiagate hoax.

On Monday Comer announced the Committee issued subpoenas to a who’s who of political elites and deep state operatives.

The sweeping list includes former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former FBI Directors James Comey and Robert Mueller, and multiple former Attorneys General.

According to RealClearInvestigations reporter Paul Sperry, Robert Mueller, 80, has been living in a memory-care facility for the past few years.

“House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Robert Mueller to appear for a Sept. 2 deposition to provide details from an FBI investigation of Jeffrey Epstein from decades ago — even though sources tell me Mueller has been living in a memory-care facility for the past few years,” Paul Sperry said.

The article concludes:

Recall that Robert Mueller looked like a confused, stuttering, agreeable, lost and nervous doddering old man during his testimony to Congress in 2019. He frequently paged through his notes because he was lost.

There is no way Mueller ran the Russia collusion witch hunt. He was just a figurehead.

It was a Andrew Weissmann witch hunt blessed by Rod Rosenstein and the corrupt Department of Justice.

The political left used a mentally declining former FBI Director as a figurehead for the actions of a corrupt investigation hoping to cash in on his supposed integrity. There are a lot of people in Washington who need to see the inside of a jail cell.

Does She Have A Future As A Political Spokesperson?

President Trump dismissed Erika McEntarfer, the now-former Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), after rightfully accusing her of deliberately inflating employment numbers ahead of the election to boost Kamala Harris’s campaign. He pointed to a falsely reported “all-time high” in job figures that was later revised down by nearly one million jobs, an error he described as the most severe in over 50 years.

Supporting McEntarfer’s firing, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett cited a “partisan pattern” in BLS reporting and emphasized the need for a “fresh set of eyes” at the agency.

Apart from lying about the total number of jobs created, roughly a quarter of Biden’s job growth in some periods was government jobs funded by taxpayers, most job growth was part-time employment while full-time jobs remained flat, workforce participation declined which artificially improved the unemployment rate, and because of Biden’s catastrophic inflation, real wage growth was negative throughout his presidency.

When Biden handed off the economy to Trump, employment levels were still inferior to what Trump had built by 2019.

The article reviews some of the economic numbers under President Biden and President Trump:

The unemployment rate under Biden was also artificially improved due to a decline in labor force participation. Although the labor force participation rate rose from 61.3% in January 2021 to around 62.6–62.7% by mid-2024, it still remained 0.7 percentage points below the pre-pandemic level of 63.3% in February 2020.

When adjusted for population growth, nearly 2 million more Americans were on the sidelines compared to when President Trump was in office (Monthly Labor Review, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). By July 2025, the rate had fallen again, dropping 0.5 percentage point over the year to 62.2%.

The article concludes:

All net job gains since the start of 2020 went to foreign-born workers, while native-born Americans experienced a net job loss. When comparing total employment to pre-pandemic levels, the increase was just 3.7 million jobs—still short of the 6.7 million jobs created under President Trump before the pandemic, meaning Biden fell about 3 million jobs behind that benchmark.

What Was Hidden In The Back Room?

On Wednesday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about a trove of documents found in burn bags in a room in the FBI headquarters. Fox News also reported the story.

FBI Director Kash Patel found thousands of Russia collusion hoax documents in “burn bags” in a secret room at the FBI, Fox News reported.

One of the documents in the burn bags included the classified annex to the John Durham report that includes the underlying intelligence he investigated.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe is expected to declassify the annex to Durham’s final report and send it to Senator Grassley, who will release it to the public.

Fox News also reported that Kash Patel and his team of investigators discovered a “previously undisclosed” SCIF at the FBI headquarters.

In 2023, Special Counsel John Durham released his final report concluding the FBI had no verified intel when it opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Trump in 2016.

President Trump declassified a binder on January 19th, 2021.

The now infamous binder contains hundreds of pages about the Crossfire Hurricane scandal. It contains damaging information about the corrupt actors involved in our government.

In an explosive development in August 2022 following the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid, sources close to the high-profile investigation revealed that the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago was explicitly aimed at recovering a “missing top-secret binder.”

Leaving burn bags in a room is totally against the protocol for disposing of classified information. According to protocol, burn bags are to be collected every day and burned every day. It is amazing that these  bags were found.

I am looking forward to the declassification of these documents. It is time to hold the people responsible for the undermining of the first Trump administration responsible–all of them. I am not sure that is realistic, but it needs to happen.

It’s Not Easy Being Green

Theoretically, green energy is a great idea. Wind is free; the sun is free. However, the quest for practical, dependable green energy bears a resemblance to the quest for a perpetual motion machine. In theory, it’s a great idea. It practice, it needs work.

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported:

Around the world, the unreliability of the new power-generating technologies and the unwise rush towards ‘net-zero’ goals are leading the countries most invested in these ruinous policies into deep power supply troubles.

After blackouts in Spain, Portugal and parts of France two months ago, now it’s the ultra-liberal kingdom of the Netherlands that is reaping the electricity shortage that they sowed with their woke agenda.

It arose today that the Dutch are now rationing electricity.

The article quotes The U.K. Daily Mail:

“More than 11,900 businesses are stuck in a queue for access to the network, alongside public buildings including hospitals, schools and fire stations.”

The present crisis comes as the Dutch concentrate efforts ‘to cut carbon emissions’.

“After shutting down production at the massive Groningen gas field last year, the Dutch government has pushed a fast transition to electric heating, solar power and battery storage.”

The national grid did not grow to demand, creating widespread bottlenecks, and increasing costs.

“Officials estimate €200 billion will be needed by 2040 to expand grid capacity. Electricity prices are already among the highest in Western Europe, and Dutch households face yearly tariff increases of up to 4.7 percent for at least the next decade.”

The world runs on fossil fuel. It can run very efficiently on fossil fuel. In fact, if you look at what goes into the manufacturing of some of the green energy infrastructure, fossil fuel in many cases has a smaller carbon footprint and does less damage to the environment. However, in an effort to be trendy, many governments have pushed green energy. Now their citizens are paying the price.

Riots Are Expensive

On Sunday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about the cost of the Los Angeles riots.

The article reports:

New data from the City of Los Angeles’ Controller shows that anti-ICE riots across the city had cost taxpayers over $32 million between June 1 and June 17. 

LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia tried to spin numbers on X, attributing the massive cost to the city to “ICE raids.”

“$29.5 million or 92% relates to LAPD’s response to protests against ICE, including citywide tactical alert costs,” he said, failing to mention the violence by so-called protesters that spurred police responses.

Police have arrested at least 561 people since the riots started earlier this month.

He also mentioned the “$1.4 million relates to clean-up / public property damage,” but somehow, it’s ICE’s fault that leftist rioters and illegal aliens caused over one million dollars in damage.

The total, roughly $32 million, “does not include potential lawsuits,” Mejia said.

The article concludes:

It can be recalled that Governor Gavin Newsom sued President Trump for exercising his authority as President to federalize the National Guard and prevent the riots from becoming even more violent and costing more money. Trump had sent in 4,000 National Guard Troops to help quell the riots.

After winning a leftist federal judge in San Francisco ordered President Trump to return control of the National Guard to California, the Ninth Circuit Appeals Court unanimously sided with Trump, allowing him to keep the California National Guard deployed.

However, leftist radicals and illegal aliens are still out in the streets attacking law enforcement and destroying public property.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, two Border Patrol vehicles were rammed, their tires slashed, and windows smashed on Friday in Bell and Maywood, California, as violent mobs broke out in the area.

If I entered America illegally in search of a better life, why would I riot in the streets and risk getting put in jail or deported? This is not what it appears to be.

What We Have Here Is A Failure To Communicate

On Friday, The Gateway Pundit reported that a senior Iranian official has stated that Iran is open to talks about limiting its program of uranium enrichment. Unfortunately, I believe the time for limiting enrichment has passed. I suspect the only reason the official is asking for negotiations is to stop the pounding of Iran by Israel.

A senior Iranian official has signaled that Tehran is “prepared to discuss limits” on uranium enrichment, though it firmly rejects any demand for total cessation—a “zero enrichment” policy is not on the table.

This shift follows weeks of intensifying conflict. Israel has launched airstrikes at Iran’s nuclear and military facilities.

It can be recalled that President Donald Trump has proposed zero uranium enrichment to Iran through United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, according to Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.

…A senior Iranian official has told Reuters that Tehran is prepared to discuss limits on its uranium enrichment programme, but made clear that demands for “zero enrichment” are off the table.

French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the urgency of renewed negotiations, saying, “It is absolutely essential to prioritize a return to substantive negotiations, which include nuclear issues to move toward zero enrichment, ballistics to limit Iranian activities and capabilities, and the financing of all the terrorist groups destabilizing the region.”

The news outlet added that German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul echoed the call, reinforcing Berlin’s demand for zero enrichment as a baseline for any renewed agreement. British officials, while more reserved, have also recently expressed support for eliminating Iran’s enrichment activities.

Iran is not going to agree to zero enrichment unless it finds a way to continue enrichment while hiding it from the world. The only way this conflict ends is with Iran running out of weapons to fire at Isreal or regime change in Iran.

Providing Jobs For Americans

On July 16th, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about one of the consequences of President Trump’s policy of deporting people who are here illegally.

Sending people who are here illegally back to their home countries will open up employment opportunities for Americans. That’s a good thing.

When The Rule Of Law Fails

On Friday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about President Trump’s policy of relocating African farmers who are being threatened and who are losing their farms to violence to America.

The first group of refugees is expected to arrive in the United States any day now, The New York Times reports, citing several leaked government memos.

While the globalist media squawks, conservatives across the U.S. and Europe are hailing the move as a long-overdue response to the violent racial persecution of an ethnic minority left to fend for itself in a crumbling, post-apartheid South Africa. The victims? White farmers—the very backbone of South Africa’s food supply, many of whom trace their ancestry back to Dutch and French settlers.

“These people are being systematically targeted,” President Trump said, slamming the South African government’s land expropriation without compensation policies. “They’re not just being pushed off their land—they’re being erased from the future of their country.”

The land in South Africa is largely owned by the descendants of the Dutch and French settlers. They have not always treated the black Africans well. I get that. However, in the past few years, black Africans have been killing the owners of farms and their families and simply stealing their farms. The laws support the taking of an individual’s land without compensation under the guise of “public interest.” Somehow the “public interest” seems only to apply to taking farms away from white farmers. Needless to say, the white farmers are ready to leave the country and begin again.

Who Is Supposed To Run The Country?

On Friday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about the current Constitutional crisis the political left believes we are in.

The article reports:

Scott Jennings, the lone voice of reason on CNN, recently pointed out that activist judges who are being ‘shopped’ by Democrats are bringing the United States towards a real Constitutional crisis as they continually interfere with what should be the president’s job.

Jennings goes so far as to suggest that if this continues, that Congress may have to intervene.

He also says, correctly, that what these judges are doing is a political ploy. It’s a direct effort to try to run out the clock on Trump’s presidency, just like they did with lawfare during Trump’s first term.

Scott Jennings stated:

Now, I do think that these individual district court judges that are being selectively shocked by people who oppose the president, trying to issue nationwide injunctions and stop the president from governing, I think that’s a real problem. I mean, it’s a constitutional crisis, in my opinion, for these individual district court judges to try to tie up Donald Trump. I mean, it’s obvious what they’re trying to do, which is to run out the clock until he’s no longer in office.”

“It’s sort of what the Democrats did the first time around,” Jennings continued. “They don’t want him to be able to govern.

Somehow these courts were not issuing nationwide injunctions when President Obama created DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or when President Biden forgave student loans he had no power to forgive.

It is a disgrace that both the Republicans in Congress and the Supreme Court seem unable to find a way to stop this absurdity. If the district courts are not put back in their lane quickly, this will happen every time a President they do not approve of is elected. That is not the government our Founding Fathers created.

The Dangers Of Unlimited Immigration

The main reason for limiting immigration is to provide an opportunity for new citizens to assimilate. When large ethnic groups immigrate at the same time, they tend to group together and may have trouble assimilating. I once met a group of people from another country who had settled a particular area of an American city. Because they had not learned English (in their enclave it was not needed), the group included doctors and physicists working as factory workers. That is a serious waste of talent. Almost all European countries have been negatively impacted by the number of immigrants from Muslim countries that have arrived in their countries in recent years and do not share western values.

As churches close their doors and the native Swedish birthrate continues to decline, Sweden has seen the number of mosques rise precipitously, from just seven in 2000 to around 300 by 2025.

In Sweden, the total number of reported cases of sexual offences increased from 2012 to 2021, before falling somewhat again in 2022. Whereas a total number of over 16,000 sexual offenses were reported in 2013, this had increased to nearly 24,000 by 2023. The highest number of these were cases of sexual harassment, followed by rape. Especially the number of reported cases of rape increased over the period, from 6,000 in 2012 to 9,300 in 2023. This is probably down to an increased awareness about reporting.

The article also notes:

The mosque boom has also reignited debates over national security and integration. The Gothenburg mosque, backed by Saudi funds, has come under fire for promoting misogynistic content. Even more troubling, the Imam Ali mosque in Stockholm has hosted speakers who advocate martyrdom.

National-conservative politicians have seized on the issue. Jimmie Åkesson, leader of the Sweden Democrats, has called for mosques that promote anti-Swedish or anti-democratic messages to be swiftly shut down.

It will be interesting to see where Sweden is in five years.

Where Your Tax Dollars Are Going

On April 10, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about some of the fraud the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is finding in government benefits.

On Wednesday, The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced its findings from an initial survey of unemployment insurance claims since 2020 and uncovered three stunning discoveries regarding unemployment fraud.

…24,500 people over 115 years old claimed $59 million in benefits.

28,000 people under the age of five claimed $254 million in benefits.

9,700 people with birth dates over 15 years in the future claimed $69 million in benefits. In one case, a person with a birthday in 2154 who claimed $41,000 in benefits.

President Trump also told reporters aboard Air Force One last week that DOGE found something “horrible” but refused to elaborate.

“We have found hundreds – think of it – just hundreds of millions of dollars of fraud and abuse and waste. They’re still going strong. They found something today that is horrible, it’s horrible,” Trump said.

Was Wednesday’s unemployment fraud the discovery Trump was referencing?

The problem with government benefits is the lack of connectivity between the Washington bureaucracy and the people actually getting the benefits. Ideally, there would be local supervision to determine if a claim was real. I can remember back in the age of dinosaurs when the company I worked for closed, I had to report to the unemployment office weekly to get my check and to search the computers for job opportunities. If a person were required to show up at the local unemployment office, it would be very obvious if they were over 115 years old, under 5 years old, or not born yet.

It seems to me that cleaning out the fraud in some of our government programs might be a serious step on the road to a balanced budget.

On Friday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about the fake news posted by The New York Times about Elon Musk receiving a security briefing on top secret war plans. He did not  receive such a briefing. First of all, Elon Musk is seriously involved in America’s space program (some might argue that he is America’s space program). What kind of clearances might he have because of that involvement? I realize that classified information should be given out on a ‘need to know’ basis, and there might not be a case for Elon Musk to know about China policy, but I do believe this is much ado about nothing.

The article reports:

The deep state was has been in full meltdown since Thursday night’s leaked report by the New York Times that DOGE chief Elon Musk would be visiting the Pentagon on Friday for an alleged briefing on top secret U.S. war plans for communist China.

Notice it was a leaked report. Who leaked it? We can guess why–anything to make the Trump administration look bad. The person who leaked it needs to face consequences. That is how you stop the leaks.

Trump addressed the controversy with reporters in the Oval Office midday Friday with Hegseth by his side, saying he would not authorize such a briefing for Musk given his business ties with China. Stopping The Drugs Entering America

On March 20th, The Gateway Pundit reported that the Coast Guard intercepted more than 45,000 pounds of illegal drugs valued at over $500 million at Port Everglades in Florida.

The article reports:

Noem (Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem) said during remarks to reporters, “In the first 100 days of President Trump’s administration, he has already delivered on his campaign promises of making America safe again and to help the American people to be more secure as well.”

…“Today is a historic day. Here at Port Everglades, over 22.5 tons, or 45,000 pounds of cocaine and 50 pounds of marijuana, are valued at over a half a billion dollars, are going to be offloaded and taken out of circulation.”

“This is an unprecedented seizure of illicit drugs that is the result of 14 different interdictions of drug smuggling vessels off the coasts of Mexico, Central, and South America, by the crews of the Coast Guard Cutter Stone and Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk. They’ve done incredible work here with their crews to remove these drugs out of the system so they can be destroyed.”

“These efforts were coordinated with the helicopter tactical squadron aircrews that you see with us today as well as Tactical Team Pacific, law enforcement detachments that were involved, and partner agencies that are operating in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.”

We won’t really end drug trafficking until we end the demand, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. We need to find ways to help addicts recover and reduce the demand for illicit drugs in this country.

Forgetting Your Mission

On Wednesday, The Gateway Pundit posted an article about preparations for the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil. You know, one of those climate summits where everyone flies in on their private jet while telling all the rest of us that we need to shrink our carbon footprint. Well, their large carbon footprint is not the only hypocrisy involved.

In the lead-up to the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil, a new four-lane highway is cutting through tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest.

The event, to be held in November, is expected to host more than 50,000, including world leaders and high-profile activists who will surely fly on private jets and traverse a road that has been scarred into the pristine landscape.

The state government touts the highway’s “sustainable” credentials, but some locals and conservationists are outraged at the environmental impact.

Any time you cut a road through a forest there is going to be environmental impact–animals have to find new homes, the temperature of the area is impacted, the amount of carbon dioxide recycled by the trees is altered, and it is possible that streams or ponds may be impacted.

The article concludes:

A local resident, Claudio Verequete, told BBC, said he used to earn his living from harvesting berries from the tress that used to be there.

“Everything was destroyed,” he said. “Our harvest has already been cut down. We no longer have that income to support our family.”

Adler Silveira, the state government’s infrastructure secretary, listed this highway as one of 30 projects happening in the city to “prepare” and “modernise” it.

Silveira added it would provice “a legacy for the population and, more importantly, serve people for COP30 in the best possible way.”
