I’m just your basic little old grandmother.  I have three grown children, each with families.  I have nine grandchildren, ranging in age from thirty to sixteen, some of whom are serving in America’s military. Each of my children’s families is unique and represents unique challenges in raising a family in America today.

The cost of living and the politics in Massachusetts caused my husband and I to move to North Carolina, as he has retired. We have built a house here and plan to be here for a long time!

I started this blog because I felt that the information we as Americans need to make good decisions when we vote was not always getting out in a fair and complete manner. This blog represents my effort to provide background and additional information about the issues all of us are asked to make decisions on every day.  I hope it helps.

I can be heard on the radio most Thursday afternoons at about 5:45 at 107.1 out of Morehead City, North Carolina, and as part of a panel discussion on that same station at 6 am on Saturday and 11 am and 8 pm on Sunday.
