Good News From Memphis

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported the following:

The Memphis Safe Task Force, working under the coordination of the U.S. Marshals Service, has rescued 101 missing children and cleared more than 1,000 outstanding warrants in just 40 days.

Can we send the U.S. Marshals Service to every other city in America to rescue children?

The article reports:

According to News Nation, U.S. Marshals have arrested 2,342 individuals across Memphis on charges ranging from homicide to narcotics trafficking, firearms violations, and sex offenses. Of the cleared warrants, 203 involved firearms and 264 were narcotics-related.

Among the 101 children rescued was a 15-year-old boy missing since September 2, last seen walking along Highway 64 in Tennessee.

Thanks to the task force’s collaboration with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the teen was discovered living in a van with his father in Hawaii, thousands of miles from home, according to WREG.

The father, who has a long criminal record in Hawaii and California, including domestic violence, abuse, drugs, battery, and burglary, had been hiding out at a construction site where he worked.

When confronted, he fled the scene, leaving the teenager behind. The child was found safe by the Honolulu Police Department on November 6, 2025, and is now awaiting return to Tennessee.

The article concludes:

“We are happy that we have been able to use our fugitive hunting skills to assist local and state authorities with finding these missing children,” said Emily Williams, U.S. Marshals spokesperson. “What a testament to our partnerships to be able to work these cases together. While investigative work is tedious, locating missing and endangered children is one of the things we are most proud of.”

This is what happens when law enforcement focuses on investigating criminals rather than concerned parents who attend churches or school board meetings.

Finding The Children

On Saturday, Townhall posted an article about the 300,000 children who went missing after crossing America’s southern border as unaccompanied minors.

The article reports:

Border czar Tom Homan revealed the Trump administration has found tens of thousands of the unaccompanied children who went missing under the Biden administration.

“Out of the 300,000 children, I looked at the numbers just yesterday, we located over 23,000 of them,” he said on Fox News. “So, 23,000 locations of the 300,000. But President Trump is committed. We’re not gonna stop until we find every one of them or at least run every lead down of those 300,000 children. So that’s a big plus for the administration, because the last administration wasn’t even looking for them.”

As the New York Post reported last month, many of these children were “condemned to a ‘conveyor belt’ of rape and abuse.”

The article notes:

When Homan announced the Department of Homeland Security had found 10,000 of the children in July, he blasted the media for ignoring the story.

The article concludes:

Every illegal alien public safety threat we arrest makes this country safer. Every national security threat we take off this street and deport makes us safer and we’re rescuing thousands of children.”

The fact that they are looking for the missing children is encouraging. I hope they locate every one of them.

I Guess They Have Different Priorities

On Saturday, Hot Air posted an article about part of the confirmation hearings for Kristi Noem. Senator Blumenthal thought that he had laid the perfect trap for the nominee. Unfortunately for him, it totally backfired.

The article records part of the exchange; the rest is on X:

RICHARD BLUMENTHAL: “Will you help me reunite children with their parents who were separated by Trump’s family separation policy?”

KRISTI NOEM: “What I’m alarmed by is the over 300,000 children that went missing during the Biden administration.”

BLUMENTHAL: “Let’s put aside the labels and what happened in the past. There are still 1,000 children who were separated and waiting to be reunited. I’d like your commitment to continuing the effort to reunite them with their parents.”

NOEM: “Well, I can’t put aside 300,000 children. Keeping families together is critically important to me and to this country. I’m concerned about Laken Riley’s family and that they no longer have her… We will uphold our laws and make sure we are doing everything we can to keep children safe from the trafficking and drug epidemics.”

One of the ways that the Trump administration was fighting child trafficking was to take DNA samples at the border to make sure that the child in question was indeed traveling with his/her family. One of the first things the Biden administration did was to end that testing.

The article notes:

For years, the Democrats have moved heaven and earth to enable the world’s biggest human trafficking operation and have been shipping at taxpayer expense unaccompanied minors to fake “relatives” who spirit them away to God knows where. They haven’t just let it happen; they have been subsidizing and encouraging it, along with the importation of fentanyl. Their policies have enriched the drug cartels to the tune of billions of dollars, and they are proud of it.

It’s time to close the border. But we do need to realize that part of the fentanyl problem is the users as well as the dealers. We need to find better ways to help drug addicts to save their lives and to get drugs off of the streets.

It’s Time To Find The Children

On Wednesday, Breitbart posted an article about one of the priorities of the incoming Trump administration.

The article reports:

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” incoming Border Czar Tom Homan stated that the Trump administration will attempt to locate and rescue as many missing migrant children as possible and “We’ll deal with the immigration consequences later, we’ve got to get these kids back with their families, and we’ve got to make sure they’re protected.”

Homan said, “[U]nder the Trump administration, we had a DNA testing. We vetted everybody in the household, not just the sponsor…to make sure there wasn’t a gang member or a child predator living in that household. So, this isn’t incompetence, this isn’t mismanagement, this is by design, this is about moving as many people into this country as possible, because they see a future political benefit in all of this. Do I think they meant to put [children in harm’s way]? I don’t know that. I have my suspicions. But what they did is harming hundreds of thousands of children, and I’ll tell you right now, some of these children, we’re never going to find. Some of these children are dead. Some of these children are living a life of hell every day.”

In August, The New York Post reported:

The Biden-Harris administration has lost track of more than 320,000 migrant children who crossed the border without parents, according to a shocking new report.

Untold numbers of the children — who were released into the US to “qualified sponsors” — are now at risk of sex trafficking, forced labor and other forms of exploitation, a Homeland Security Inspector General’s report released Monday said.

As of May 2024, there are 291,000 migrant children who arrived in the US as unaccompanied minors who were set free and never given a date to appear in immigration court — meaning there is no way to track their whereabouts.

That is in addition to the 32,000 children that Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities released into the US with hearing dates but then failed to show in court, according to the 14-page report — which tracked a period from October 2018 to September 2023.

One federal whistleblower said that she believes many of these vulnerable kids could already be in the hands of criminals and sex traffickers.

It’s time to close the border to illegal immigrants, and locate the missing children and provide them with the safety and protection they deserve.
