The Fallout From Ending Some Of The Government Corruption

One of the biggest money-laundering operations in America was known as USAID (United States Agency for International Development). In March, the State Department announced that it was effectively dissolving USAID. Many family members of our legislators were employed by the agency in various levels, so they had to find new jobs, but there were other ramifications. 

On Sunday, The Daily Signal posted an article about one result of the end of USAID.

The article reports:

Arabella Advisors, a for-profit company that managed services for many influential dark money nonprofits on the Left, is no more—or so it seems.

Sunflower Services, a new public benefit corporation, announced on Monday that it would be acquiring “Arabella Advisors’ fiscal sponsorship servicing business.” Meanwhile, Arabella’s former CEO, Himesh Bhise, announced that he would lead a supposedly new company, Vital Impact.

A Nov. 19 email to Arabella Advisors received an automated response stating, “As of November 17, 2025 Arabella Advisors has ceased operations.”

What, exactly, is Sunflower Services? Well, it’s a completely new company financed by… lead investor New Venture Fund, with financial support from the Windward and Hopewell Funds.

These names should be familiar to longtime observers of Arabella Advisors. New Venture Fund, Windward Fund, and Hopewell Fund are three of the “seven sisters” dark money nonprofits that received services from Arabella. These are the nonprofits organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

These groups acted as “fiscal sponsors,” housing various quasi-independent projects that did not register as separate entities. Critics say this system allows donors to fund activist projects through the nonprofits—cloaking what their dollars are actually paying for. These groups funded many of the left-wing activist groups that fed staff and ideas into the Biden administration, particularly pushing climate alarmism. The Open Society Foundations, founded by Hungarian American billionaire George Soros and now run by his son, Alex, has contributed millions to the nonprofits who were Arabella’s clients.

The other nonprofits—Sixteen Thirty Fund, North Fund, and Impetus Fund—more politically active groups organized under Section 501(c)(4), were notably absent from the Sunflower Services press release.

Getting To The Root Of The Problem

The Democrat party has turned non-profits and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) into cash cows. That is one of the reasons Democrats were so upset about defunding the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Even if the Democrats (and some Republicans) were not skimming money directly, the boards of many of these organizations included their relatives who were paid exorbitant sums of many.

On Monday, The New York Post posted an editorial explaining how some of this works and what can be done to stop it.

The editorial states:

Starting to lift the lid off a far, far larger scam, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick just nixed $7 billion in “advance payments” that Biden administration staffers aimed to divert to a “nonprofit” controlled by other Democratic insiders.

The bigger scam being, of course, how the left (and lots of plain-old Dem machines) feeds off government-funded “charities.”

It’s a huge part of the “swamp,” though of course its denizens pretend their motives don’t reek.

In this case, the Bidenites were in too much of a hurry to make the theft fully legal: After President Donald Trump’s victory last November, high-level staff all across the executive branch rushed to corral cash that hadn’t yet gone out the door, lest the MAGA crew actually vet where it was going.

So some plugged-in Dems quickly created Natcast, a public-private not-for-profit — which the Bidenites immediately chose to direct tens of billions of dollars in subsidies to tech firms under the CHIPS Act.

Except that law never allowed for such a cut-out to handle the outlays — which made the diversion plainly illegal: Even if nobody ever goes to jail for it, Lutnick can at least claw back the funds.

That was just part of the looting frenzy; another scheme parked $20 billion at CitiBank with an eye on ensuring the “environmental justice” grants went to Democratic allies, such as one linked to Stacey Abrams, the failed Georgia gov candidate and election-denier.

EPA chief Lee Zeldin moved to rescind that insider dealing after getting wind of Bidenites at his agency “throwing gold bars” away before the Trumpies could take over.

There Are Many Ways To Influence An Election

There are many ways to influence an election. One way is to limit the amount of money paid to a political party or candidate. Another way is to make sure a political party has plenty of money to spread around. It is not a coincidence that the massive cut to the funding of The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has resulted in a shortage of funds at the Democrat party. The money given to the non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) somehow had a way of winding up in groups that supported causes friendly to Democrats. Supposedly non-political organizations can also play a role in how much money a political party has to spend.

On Thursday, Townhall reported:

A political consulting firm, Targeted Victory, claims Gmail has been flagging Republican fundraising emails containing WinRed links as “dangerous” and sending many straight to spam folders. WinRed, the GOP’s central online fundraising platform, brought in roughly $1.6 billion for the 2023–2024 cycle. Its Democratic counterpart, ActBlue, appears to face no such labeling, with emails containing its links going through unimpeded.

The article concludes:

While Targeted Victory was the first to experience the problem, they said the “issue is occurring across vendors’ campaigns and personal Gmail accounts, eliminating the possibility of it being a Targeted Victory-specific or network issue.”

If accurate, this goes beyond a simple technical hiccup; it affects the flow of political funding and the effectiveness of campaigns. In an environment where small-dollar donations drive those campaigns, filtering one party’s platform while clearing its rival’s creates a built-in advantage with real electoral consequences. Something the GOP cannot afford in the upcoming midterm elections.

As more Americans become aware of some of the questionable activities of the Democrat party, I suspect the Republicans will be okay in the midterms.

The War On Common Sense Has A Lot To Do With Money And Power

Not too long ago, no one would have questioned flying a criminal who was in America illegally out of America. No one would have cared that he was being deported or where he was going. Yet now some people in power want to keep criminal illegal aliens in America. These are people who entered the country illegally, breaking our laws, and then went on to commit horrendous crimes. Why should we want to keep them here? What is going on?

A partial answer to that question can be found in a statement made by Senator Chuck Schumer in an interview on the Public Broadcasting Network last week. The Senator said “…we did put 235 judges—progressive judges, judges not under the control of Trump last year on the bench, and they are ruling against Trump time after time after time.” What about judges who uphold the rule of law? Did you put any of them on the bench>

One of the benchmarks of a healthy republic (we are not a democracy) is the peaceful transfer of power. It seems to me that the Democrat party is using these judges to prevent that transfer.

There is a financial aspect to this resistance. Many of these judges have family members that are working in NGO’s that receive money from USAID or other government programs. The salaries and other benefits paid to people in some of these organizations are astounding. There is also some question as to how a lot of the money given to NGO’s is spent.

From 2020-2024, the United Nations and NGO’s spent $6 Billion financing the mass migration of people entering America illegally. How much of this money went to drug cartels? The plan was for the United Nations and the NGO’s to spend $1.4 Billion on the migration trail in 2025 and $1.2 Billion more in 2026. Has there ever been an audit of this money?

The caravans who arrived in America under President Biden had new-looking sneakers, clothes that did not look worn out, many had cell phones, and everyone looked well-fed. Someone was financing this, and the cartels were receiving more income than they had seen for a long time. It is also likely that a large percentage of the money given to the NGO’s went to overhead—benefits and salaries to the people running the NGO’s. I am grateful that someone is trying to stop the funding for this.

Scandal Central

On Friday, The American Thinker posted an article about some of the scandals we have seen in recent years.

The article  includes a list:

All four of the biggest scandals in U.S. history have happened in just the past few years:

(a) the cover-up of Joe Biden’s decline;

(b) lawfare against Trump;

(c) the cover-up of Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling, and now; and

(d) billions wasted, by not just the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), but also by many other agencies, and being uncovered by Elon Musk’s DOGE.

In this writer’s opinion, it’s all a series of causes and desired effects.  The Democrat party Deep State (DPDS) loathe Trump.  They used every trick in their trick bag, from “Russia collusion” to lawfare to assassination attempts, to beat him and present Hillary, then Biden, then Kamala as a superior candidate.  The scams are the “why.”

The worst example is the vanishing migrant children.  Some of the NGOs getting contracts from Team Biden to house unaccompanied minors (now known as “child-trafficking victims”) were getting multi-billion-dollar contracts.  Over 300,000 of those children have simply vanished.

The article notes:

USAID, created by a JFK executive order in 1961, was intended to steer foreign aid in a manner that benefited America’s national interests.  Instead, it’s been scattering taxpayers’ billions like candy at a Santa Claus parade, for any left-wing initiative (or terrorist group) that raised its ugly head and extended its tentacles.

Billions of dollars have vanished, so USAID has been shut down, and it’s being audited.  What was created by executive order can be stopped by executive order, despite the caterwauling from DPDS propaganda minions that it’s “illegal.”

They spent $40 million on HIV medications for transgender hookers in South Africa, $47,000 on a trans opera in Colombia, $2 million on sex changes and LGBT initiatives in Guatemala, and $1.5 million to promote DIE in Serbia.  They spent $8 million to study the “effect of flavored cigarettes on bisexuals and lesbians” and another $8 million to train Sri Lankan journalists to avoid using “binary-gendered language.”  Then there’s the $20 million for a Sesame Street TV show in Iraq.

The article concludes:

We can only infer that all these scandals are a series of causes and desired effects. Thus, they’re one gigantic scandal, making Watergate look as though Nixon deserved only a stern reprimand.

Everybody apparently got his cut of the billions in loot. Biden pardoned the top-level offenders.

A Hollywood studio would make a lot of money with documentaries on all this. Producers could track down perpetrators — from the $130 billion missing in Ukraine to a $70,000 DIE musical in Ireland to the $32,000 for trans comic books in Peru to the electric vehicles in other countries — and document, on film, any measurable results.

This writer’s guess is that the actual results are either nonexistent or very tiny and symbolic, to provide a façade camouflaging what really happened to most of that money.

Then, at the end of each documentary, the producers could track down Democrats who approved each of the pallets of cash bulldozed out the door, and show each Democrat’s net worth “before” and “after.” Viewers could draw their own conclusions.

They could start with every Biden pardon recipient, and the 51 intel executives who signed the “Russian disinformation” letter, with zero evidence.

Such a series of documentaries would be cheap to produce and well received. It would surely make millions. But it counters Hollywood’s Prime Directive (“Never say anything bad about a Democrat”), and it makes too much sense. Perhaps some independent studio could strike gold with such documentaries.

For now, every member of Team Trump should start every interview by speaking directly to American voters: “If you ever vote for a Democrat again, you need your head examined.”

And I have a feeling we have only scratched the surface!

Sometimes Congress’ Priorities Are Amazing

On Monday, Zero Hedge reported the following:

While Congress failed to pass a border security bill over the weekend amid a flurry of billions in international aid to Ukraine and Israel, they did set aside $3.5 billion for “Migration and Refugee Assistance” for the State Department to “address humanitarian needs of vulnerable populations and communities.”

While written in an absurdly broad brushstroke that’s going to be open to interpretation, X user ‘Oilfield Rando‘ suggests that the funds will be used “to pay the NGOs coordinating the illegal invasion at our southern border, and providing all the freebies once they’re in.”

Who Is Funding Illegal Immigration?

The question that should be asked is, “Who is funding the illegal immigration that is funding the Mexican Cartels?”

On Thursday, Breitbart reported the following:

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project obtained data showing about 30,000 unique mobile devices at 35 NGO centers and one Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility stationed along the United States-Mexico border.

Ultimately, the investigation “confirmed that a host of NGOs are actively facilitating” large scale illegal immigration into the U.S. interior as CBP transfers border crossers and illegal aliens en masse to NGOs, funded by taxpayers, which then provide transportation services so arrivals can be sent to all 50 states.

“Devices that were at these NGO facilities later appeared in all but one congressional district in the United States,” the investigation states:

The investigation confirms that Biden border crisis affects all of America and that NGOs are playing a central role in the mass resettlement of illegal aliens in the United States. Worse, this flow of illegal immigration helps enable cartels to bring terrorists, criminals, and deadly drugs like fentanyl into the United States. [Emphasis added]

The article concludes:

More than other administrations, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has enlisted NGOs to take on the role of sheltering border crossers and illegal aliens at the border before transporting them into the U.S. interior via domestic commercial flights and buses.

For months, House Republicans have urged Biden to disclose the number of border crossers and illegal aliens that have been flown into American cities, the cost to taxpayers, and how much money is being paid to NGOs facilitating the Catch and Release process.

Most Americans, in an August poll, said they believe there is an “invasion” occurring at the border as the Biden administration is set to have apprehended a record 2.3 million by the year’s end and is projected to apprehend another record 2.6 million next year.

Since February 2021, at least 1.4 million border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into the U.S. interior.

Every state in America is now a border state. Any American who voted for an incumbent in the mid-term election (with very few exceptions) voted to keep the southern border open.

The Dangers Of Unchecked Immigration

A few years ago I had the privilege of meeting Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff. I wrote about it here. She is now on a speaking tour in America shedding light on what has happened in Europe because of the large number of Muslim immigrants. An article outlining her observations is posted at The Gates of Vienna.

In the article she explains some of the history and some of the consequences of the unchecked migration into Europe:

The most important thing to remember is that it is PLANNED.

It did not start in 2015 when Chancellor Merkel made her famous invitation to all the “refugees” to come on in from the Middle East. It had been going on since the “Arab Spring” began in 2011, and especially since Qaddafi was deposed and killed. By the time the flood started in 2015 the masses of people were all there ready to move, and the traffickers were equipped to move them.

The current routes being used run across the Mediterranean from Libya. Vessels owned and operated by NGOs meet the “refugees” off the coast of Libya shortly after their launch and “rescue” them. They are assigned this task, and they collude with the people-traffickers to accomplish it.

The thing to remember in dealing with the Islamic culture is that their perspective is long-term. They are not part of the microwave society that we live in.

The second most important thing is that it is EXPENSIVE.

The routes used in 2015 across the Aegean into Greece costs thousands of dollars per head. The migrants themselves did not pay the costs. Somebody else did; the big question is WHO?

We don’t know for certain that Soros is behind it, although we know that his organizations are involved. (a) Some of his organizations are among those that own and operate the boats picking up migrants in the Med off the coast of Libya. (b) His organizations were discovered to have printed maps and helpful instruction sheets handed out to migrants during the great exodus of 2015.

The migrants did not walk across Europe. They traveled by ferry, bus, and train — a MILLION of them or more. Someone paid for that transport. It was expensive to charter those buses and run those trains.

We know that some of the cost was borne by the governments en route, but not all of it. George Soros was definitely involved, and there are strong indications that governments in the Persian Gulf gave financial assistance.

When they arrived in Slovenia and Austria, refugees bought goods and hired taxis using brand new €500 notes. Those notes are very unusual, and the refugees did not find them on the ground along the way. Someone gave the notes to them — WHO?

I suspect that the answer to that question will lead us to many more questions.

The article continues:

Sweden is the European country that is closest to collapse. Although Germany has been hit harder, its economy is stronger, and can withstand the current (very expensive) crisis longer.A couple of years before Merkel invited in the migrants from Syria, the Swedish prime minister at the time, Fredrik Reinfeldt, did EXACTLY the same thing — he made a public announcement that anyone from Syria who came to Sweden would be accepted. As a result, for a while Sweden was their preferred destination.

Now Sweden in undergoing nightly riots, gang wars, arson, bombings, rapes, and murders. It has reinstituted border controls.

Obviously Sweden has learned from experience. It remains to be seen whether or not the Swedes will ever reclaim their country.

  Free speech has been a casualty of the new open-borders policy. Immigration is not popular, but governments are determined that it must happen, so they crack down vigorously on any publicly-expressed sentiments against immigrants or Islam.Dissidents on the Great Migration are fired and harassed. They are routinely prosecuted in Sweden, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, and Britain. Prison sentences are now handed out for Facebook posts or for putting bacon on the door handle of a mosque.

It is no longer possible to speak out freely, honestly, and truthfully about the consequences of immigration in Europe.
