Mary reminded me that I have been remiss is providing my rants. She is quite correct; however personal issues have interfered. I won’t whine here; I do enough of that to my wife. My daily mantra (okay, throughout the day) is “Suck it up Buttercup. The only easy day was yesterday.”
BUT! I have to say that I was IMMENSELY pleased and offer a HUGE THANK YOU to the Senate Minority leader, one Charles Scheemer!
Of course he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He was responding to the Marxists on his immediate left. GIVE NO GROUND! MEDICAL CARE FOR ILLEGALS! REFUND NPR!
As if the normals in this country actually support such bullschiff. Apparently, he was asleep last November when the country overwhelming voted for PDJT. Normals don’t like their tax dollars and other borrowed funds (plus interest) being used to give medical care to people who shouldn’t be here in the first place. Nor do they want those same dollars used to support indoctrination over the public airwaves. Or any of the other marxist schemes that was included in the Demonrat 1.5 TRILLION dollar addition to the continuing resolution to keep the government running.
So the gubbermint is shut down. Sort of. But that’s a GOOD THING! As several people wiser than I have warned, (but I can learn from them) anytime the government is functioning, your money and your freedoms are in danger. Marxists believe that the gubbermint is absolutely necessary for life as we know it to continue. Not even close. I bought gasoline yesterday. My wife bought groceries today. As well as booze. Drug stores and hardware stores are open. Banks are open. Wall Street is soaring!
There is nothing that a “closed” gubbermint prevents me from accomplishing. Everything that is mandated by legislation is continuing.
That includes the Social Security payments and the Postal Service.
BUT! And this is the good part. All of those “non-critical” parts of the gubbermint are shut down. And since they don’t have funding to justify their existence…why not turn them off? For everyone reading this that has operated a business, how many “non-critical” employees did you keep on the payroll? Okay, how many non-critical, non-family member employees did you keep on the payroll? I suspect not many. And, yes, I recognize “special” circumstances. But that’s in private business. Such special” situations don’t belong on the gubbermint payroll. So, this is the perfect time to remove them. Only a few gubbermint employees. The current estimate is only around 750,000. But it is a good start. Not all of them will go, of course. Some them are actually functional and some aren’t active members of the Deep State. The other benefit is the vast majority of them vote for Marxists. So, we can be rid of non-critical, mostly non-functioning TDS Deep State employees. That’s the multi-functional useful aspect of the shutdown.
Of course, Chucky Scheemer didn’t want this to happen at all. But the left wingnut hard Marxist coalition of his party wanted the shutdown so they could blame it on the Republicans….but uh oh..that isn’t happening. The Demonrats are responsible and even the Lame Stream Media are acknowledging it as such. And A-O-C is aiming to primary Ol’ Chucky. So, he has to prove he actually has cojones by shutting down the gubbermint. He gets to lose both ways. He looks bad to the country and he looks weak to his constituents. But they are in New York, so that may not matter.

Burn Bags

By now everyone who actually keeps up with the real news is familiar with the revelation of the FBI burn bag discovery. Director Patel “found” a “hidden” closet full of evidence of the conspiracy to deny PDJT of both his election and the ability to function during his first term. Destruction of evidence is itself a crime. Who ordered it? Who is the hero of the Republic that refused to burn the evidence?

What few excerpts from the lamestream news that have been inflicted upon me seem to report is mainly gaslighting as to the importance of the evidence and a return to this being a continuing effort to deny the conspiracy in the first place.

A few have denied that this is a “smoking gun.” This isn’t a “smoking gun,” it is a conflagration in an arsenal. The only thing left to be included is video tape of the whole pack of cockroaches laughing and discussing what they are doing.

All of the expected participants are documented, even Barry Obozo. The only sad part is that it will be difficult to indict Obozo. But the rest are fair game, including Pencil-Neck Schiff. Apparently, a few have figured it out and are lawyering up. Smart move.

Someone – yet to be revealed – realized that felonies were being committed at the highest level. And like “Deep Throat” during the Watergate debacle, he or she decided that the Constitution and the Law were actually put in place to either prevent or prosecute such actions.

PDJT describes this plot to be treasonous. I concur. Watergate was a coverup of a penny ante burglary. This is the attempt to coverup deliberate evidence tampering – Shillery’s emails plus an attempt to invalidate a national election, as well as disrupting the entire efforts of a duly elected president.

Watergate was spiking the punch at a Baptist wedding. This is a political 911. While the just desserts are being served to the miscreants involved, it does provide a tasty treat for those who have been anxiously awaiting this process.

Prison time is certainly justified for all of the players. Can treason actually be proved? Since this is being started in a south Florida jurisdiction, it has a much better chance than if it were to be played out in DC. Treason is serious. The previous DOJ would likely have taken a charge of treason and negotiated it down to jaywalking. But this DOJ is more likely to deliver perp walking instead. (Yes, I’m giddy at the prospect!)

The difficulty in indicting Obozo is that he was in office at the time. Was conspiring to commit treason a valid duty of the president? I expect that he would say yes. A difficult decision for someone. And yes, I’ve made up my mind. A decade or two in Leavenworth seems appropriate.

So, if he can’t be indicted for his crimes what might be his just desserts? IF the Republicans in Congress have the cojones – and that is a BIG IF – he can be subpoenaed to appear before a congressional committee and required to address the evidence. He can’t be forced to testify but watching him plead the fifth over and over will still be entertaining. Presenting page after page of incriminating evidence while he squirms might be all we can expect. But that will provide ample entertainment for some. (I wonder if this will wipe the smirk off of Peter Strzok’s face?)

But what it can do is to reveal to the world the real legacy of Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Obama. A lying, conniving, conspiring, treasonous Marxist who would gladly commit major felonies to keep the Marxist party in power.

As for his legacy – light it up.

Popcorn Time!

I was enjoying a wonderful dream. I was standing under a hot tropical sun, sand under my feet. The air was thick with humidity (sort of like Craven County lately) and the aroma of the ocean was strong.

Before me was a 10’ chain link enclosure, topped with razor wire. As I watched, a line of people approached the gate. All were dressed in short sleeved orange jumpsuits; hands cuffed and locked to waist chains. They shuffled due to manacles around their ankles. Each person was attached by a short chain to the one behind, thus requiring a shuffle in cadence. The first one became James Comey, squinting in the bright light. Attached was Jim Clapper, followed by a scowling John Brennan. Andrew McCabe shuffled along next, ahead of Adam “PencilNeck” Schiff followed by Peter Strozk. Next to last came a harridan, with stringy grey hair, shrieking like I had to think a banshee might sound. She proceeded to start staggering and coughing, only the tall, African-American male identifying individual behind her kept her upright.

The sound awoke me, realizing that the shrieking was from our two cats enjoying a dispute. The gagging and coughing came from our red headed male regurgitating his night time snack. Note: a recording of a cat puking is the perfect alarm clock. No snooze button needed.

My wife and I enjoy popcorn. I absolutely LOVE it! But since I am on a low carb diet, I can only enjoy it very infrequently. We call the start of ACC basketball “Popcorn Season.” As Tar Heel fans, we WILL watch our Tar Heel basketball team with a bowl of popcorn and a cold beer. Maybe two. Just sayin’…

But NOW! A new Popcorn Season has arrived. AG Bondi and FBI Director Patel plus AD Bongino are SERIOUSLY investigating BOTH Epstein AND “RussiaGate”! Here’s the quandary (or swivet as my father might say) for the LameStream news agencies: If they don’t report either or both of these predicaments, then the podcasters and alternative sources will show them up as the incompetent fools that they are. If they do report either one or both of them, their previous malfeasance in denying their existence and supporting the lie they so fervently proclaimed for so long will reveal that they in fact are the incompetent fools we have been calling them for years.

Either way, the reporting from either the conservative news sources, read: real news, and the comparative tap dancing, conflating, and lying from the alphabet news sources will show them to be the liars we all know that they are.

To add to the entertainment, all this will continue into the 2026 mid-term elections. Normally the party in the White House shows some difficulty in retaining both Congressional as well as state legislature and executive positions. But today the Marxists have recorded the lowest polling numbers for trust and popularity in history! Only the hard-core TDS infected communists support the Marxists, with the idiots Mandami and AOC leading their demise.

I can hardly wait!  Pass the popcorn, please.

Tar Baby, part deux

In my previous rant about the Epstein debacle, I mentioned that perhaps Ms. AG Bondi and AD Bongino may have prematurely excited the MAGA base with promises that they might not be able to fulfil. There was never any danger that PDJT would be exposed to anything promiscuous, much less incriminating. Even if the lousy investigation by President Rutabaga’s DOJ had turned up anything, the WAPO and NYT front pages would have been filled with it for weeks. Even if there had been inclusion of Marxist participation co-incidental to DJT’s exposure – Slick Willy, for example – they would have thrown them under the bus in a NY minute. So, with Epstein suicided, case closed.

Except.

The Keystone Kops under Garland Merrick forgot to question Ghislane Maxwell. She’s only the primary (and only surviving) witness to the whole tawdry affairs. How could they have missed questioning her? After all, with all the documentation they had, what could she offer?

Other than the truth, that is.

The documentation apparently contains a lot of not much. Inuendo, vague descriptions, nothing sufficiently incriminating. I would expect that there would be mention of people that the FBI really wouldn’t want to interview – such as heavy hitter donors to the Marxists. Can’t be embarrassing them now, can we? Maybe Slick Willy since he showed up on the Lolita Express numerous times without accompanying security! It’s unlikely that anyone with any law enforcement affiliation would be welcomed.

So now AG Bondi has re-opened the investigation. New material evidence – like interrogating the only witness that was never questioned – allows a new grand jury. A new investigation team.

So now, maybe the real story of Jeffrey Epstein can come out. Ms. Maxwell wasn’t stored in a NY jail, under the sleeping eyes of guards, available to anyone who might not want him to testify. Not that anyone like, oh, said Slick Willy would ever want that to happen. Of course not.

In typical Marxist fashion they covered up as much as they could. But suiciding Ms. Maxwell would have been just too co-incidental. Plus, Florida proved harder to get through to her.

The TDS crowd, as well as the squish MAGA followers were screaming that PDJT had failed at last in delivering a promise. He had delivered everything so far, but…Got to bat 1000 or it doesn’t count.

Oh, ye of little faith. This is PDJT. Not Bush I. Not Bush II. President Donald J. Trump swings a heavy bat. He swings for the fences.

And he delivers.

HELLOOO KARMA!

Last May I perused that karma sucks. And it does. And it seems to be sucking on a most deserving victim.

While PDJT was forced into his 4-year sabbatical (in fact, while he was still President,), numerous Marxist miscreants – including the Deep State holdovers from Barry Obozo’s DOJ as well as Resident Brandon’s DOJ started their notorious lawfare attacks.

Obviously, PDJT survived. The man is nothing if not tenacious. He also has a memory. More than that he has a tremendous love and respect for our great country. Many of the lawsuits entered against him helped to establish the basis for a number of legal points.

One of the Supreme Court decisions ruled that a sitting President is immune from prosecution for actions performed within the scope of his official duties. They did not, however, isolate him from civil liabilities for acts NOT within the scope of his official duties nor for acts not within the official scope.

In November of 2016, a cabal of government officials began a conspiracy to deprive the incoming President, one Donald J. Trump, of his ability to carry out the duties of the President. The notorious “Russia Collusion,” based upon a “dossier” paid for by Her Majesty Shillery Clinton, set the act in motion. The resulting “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation in July of 2016 failed to derail the Trump Campaign, so a more nefarious method was needed.

All (or at least a lot) of the incriminating evidence was left in place. The Marxists are nothing if not hubristic. Otherwise, someone might have thought to destroy the evidence. And as DNI Tulsi Gabbard has started releasing the evidence – and it looks like a LOT of it – the whistleblowers are clamoring to be heard.

So, while the investigation into the “AutoPen Scandal” proceeds, all of the usual – expected – suspects might be calling their lawyers. Comey, Clapper, Brennen, Shillery, and of course the ringleader himself, Barry Obozo.

First, Speaker Johnson has stated that Obozo will be “invited” to appear before Congress, and if a subpoena is necessary to encourage him, then he will oblige. Next, DNI Gabbard has requested a Grand Jury investigation to determine criminality for the suspects. Obozo may skate on the criminal charges, but how about the civil charges. The rest of the rats – Her Majesty included – might face criminal charges. And a more worthy bunch of suspects I could not imagine.

After all, as we heard incessantly until last January, “no one is above the law.” Even the ones who have held themselves to be above the law for decades.

The wheels of justice grind slowly. But we can hope that they will finally grind out the truth. And grind up a bunch of rats.

Karma will bite you in the end.

Some of you may be of such tender years as to be unfamiliar with the term “Tar Baby.” For those of us who have reached sufficient maturity (i.e. old) and especially from that region of the country south of Richmond, you might remember “Tales of Uncle Remus” or the movie version “Song of the South.” “Song” was Disney’s pean to systemic stereotypical racism, according to modern progressives (yes, I know, redundant.)

The Tar Baby (to remind those of us who are forgetful) was a trap, a dummy, made of tar and turpentine to look like a person. The purpose was to catch Br’er Rabbit. Which it did. The sticky tar captured his paws as he attempted to administer punishment for disrespect. So, the harder he tried to escape, the harder the trap held him.

The legacy of Jeffrey Epstein seems to have become PDJT’s “Tar Baby.” I have hard time believing that Merrick Garland and Chris Wray are smart enough to have done it on purpose, though possible. To me, the more likely result is that they simply allowed all the noise and shouting about Epstein to overwhelm the conservative base until the new administration had to respond. Which they did.

But did AG Bondi and FBI Direct Patel, plus FBIAD Bongino make their declarations before carefully examining the actual evidence? Bongino said he saw the jail video. And agreed that it had to be suicide. Now the released video has been demonstrated to have been edited. Did Dan see the edited video or the original? Who authorized the editing? And did the editing hide the evidence? Is the Deep State still at work within the FBI?

AG Bondi said she had “lists of names.” But what were those names? Simply people whom Epstein had associated with? Which would include Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, and many others, many MAY have had nefarious dealings, many did not. Apparently, Prince Andrew did. Slick Willy is certainly a suspect. There are photos of a young Donald Trump with him. Not good optics.

Epstein was described as a “financier” with no evidence that he had any ability of the sort. So where did he get his substantial wealth? Blackmailing wealthy “associates”? As a cut out between Israel and the CIA?

Epstein was a pedophile; truly a despicable piece of human debris. Obviously, a liar. But to mention people that had been seen with him as being on an “Epstein list” would certainly taint those people with guilt by association. While not criminally liable, civil suits would certainly arise without significant disputation of any associative guilt.

He was quite clever as well as slimy. POTUS promised to reveal all the information that was legally possible, without revealing key investigative details. Now he says just “fuhgeddaboudit.” And the trap is holding.

The base feels abandoned on this promise. Never mind all the promises kept, it just takes one to disrupt the trust. Transparency is required, though with DJT’s pre-presidency reputation as a playboy, transparency may be close to, or simply, impossible.

PDJT is human, after all. He has changed A LOT over the years. And still the best president of the last two centuries.

But he is in a sticky situation.

Despicable Stupidcrats

Now that most of you have recovered from your Independence Day bacchanalia, you have probably seen that there was a calamitous event in Kerr County Texas. The Guadelupe River had a flash flood, sweeping away children and adults from the Mystic Camp.

The latest death toll is 84 people dead, including 28 children. The rescue/retrieval efforts continue.

Of course, the Studipcrats blew up social media, proclaiming it to be Trump’s fault. Of course. I DO NOT frequent antisocial media, but the actual news sites that I frequent (Townhall, Tucker Carlson, Daily Signal, Just The News) all seem to have to expose the reactions of the Despicable Stupidcrats.

They point out that since POTUS has gutted the National Weather Service, there wasn’t sufficient personnel to deliver the necessary warnings. Except…the warnings went out. This was a unique event, occurring only several times in the past fifty years. The flood came at night, many of the warnings also came at night. Most everyone was sleeping. There is a reason it’s called a “FLASH FLOOD”! It’s unexpected!

Yes, there are scheduled reductions in force for the NWS. In October. Which means that the NWS that they are blaming is the same NWS that has been in place since Resident Rutabaga was in the White House. The same one that provided all the warning for Western NC for Hurricane Helene. Rember that one that devastated the western part of the state?

OH! It was climate change! So of course it was POTUS’ fault. Except while it was an extraordinary event, it wasn’t the only time it has happened. It flooded in 1987. This flood was the highest since 1932. 1932? So…devastating floods occurred before the climate change hoax was instigated?

The other reaction from the Despicable Stupidcrats was that Texas deserved it because it is a red state and that the children deserved it because they are all white Christians. REALLY? But they don’t believe in either God or Christ, so is Gaia wreaking out some revenge because of the kids being white Christians? Gaia would inflict such damage on her planet just to kill white Christian kids? I smell a large pile of BullSchiff being spread here.

I cannot express my contempt sufficiently here. Mary has reminded me that this must be family friendly. I am applying to several mafia families for their approval.

There is a difference between ignorance and stupid. Ignorance can be remedied with education and understanding.

While you can medicate it, you can’t fix stupid.

Independence Day

I apologize if this is late – all days end in “Y” and keeping up with them is…problematic.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of this great republic. For the ignorant liberals (I know, redundant) who might be reading this, we do NOT have a democracy. If you think that then you were likely educated under the Department of Education guidelines. Which are being corrected as you read this.

We fought a war to acquire our freedom from England. We are in the midst of another to hold our republic from the tentacles of Marxist domination. The absolute ignorance of the people of this great nation is astounding. But, again, thank you Jimmy Carter for the DOE. (Jerk. That is all I can include here, regardless of how much I want to expound.)

The Marxists wish this was a democracy. They are trying to convert our republic into one. Having a democracy means that a simple majority rules, not laws. The Marxists are joining with the Islamists to wrest control from the educated – those who have read and understand history. Obviously, that does not include anyone in NYC who voted for the Socialist.

There are two schools of thought on NYC and the socialist movement:

One: let him win and see how long before the lights go out on Broadway, as well as the rest of Manhattan and the other boroughs. They will. Follow Mandami’s plan, and the only lights you will have in NYC will be from the burning cars and buildings.

Two: establish a consortium of rivals to elect someone else. ANYONE else.

With NYC on the east coast and Kommifornia on the west (not to mention Seattle and Porland), the fuses are lit for another great battle, another battle for the independence of this great republic.

The subjects of Kommifornia have little to say about the operation of their feudal domain. The soon-to-be subjects of NYC may join them.

The riots in LA are the result of Marxist money being poured into the Anarchist’s movement. Like too many “movements” of the past, the participants are stooges for the instigators. I expect the same will happen in NYC. The tragedy is that the people who are being led will gain nothing. The instigators will inflict monetary damage on the citizens and perhaps now will have to answer for their crimes. I hope so. This “movement” in LA has the same product as a “movement” from excess fiber.

I hope that this instigation can be stopped. Our current POTUS is the only one who has the courage and tenacity to see this through. I hope and pray that he will survive long enough to do so.

As you grill your burgers, chicken and ribs, think about what our freedoms mean to you. And will you be willing to fight to keep them?

I will. Carry heavy. Be prepared.

HALLELUJAH!

My birthday was yesterday, but that’s fine I’ll take a belated gift any day. I never thought that I would say “thank you” to Thom Tillis (RINO-NC) But today he gave me and the rest of the NC Republicans a gift.

HE’S QUITING!

Rather than split the party by running again, getting primaried and possibly (probably) losing either in the primary or to Roy Cooper in the general, he’s not going to run.

Regardless how despicable a candidate is, before the primary the NC GOP cannot endorse a candidate until they win the primary election. There is a lot of tradition and loyalty in the GOP. When at the NC GOP State convention two years ago, a proposal to censure Tillis was brought from the floor. The major debate was not that he deserved the censure, but that it would show disloyalty to the party. Thom was our senator, like him or not, and to censure him, regardless of whether he deserved it or not, was to disrespect and be unsupportive to our state senator. It was a close vote. I stood with the majority. After all, if you allow bad behavior to continue and flourish then you will continue to get more bad behavior.

I noticed a bit of a more conciliatory attitude from our senator for a while. At least in his e-mails. But he still continued to act like a RINO. Which is to say, like a demonrat. He is very supportive of “bipartisanship.” Unfortunately, his idea of “bipartisanship” is exactly like the Marxist’s version – give them what they want and shut up. Even Jeff Flake, the demonrat stooge, exalted Thom for standing on his “principles.” Not that Flake has any nor can even define the term, but he is at least supportive of Tillis. Which shows you how badly the Marxists will miss Tillis.

(While writing this I received a text urging me to contact Thom and encourage him to change his vote. Give me a break!)

When I first read about this my first reaction was “what’s the catch?” Is he going to not run at all? Or perhaps not run as a republican but instead challenge Cooper for the demonrat ticket?

But it certainly saves us a lot of headaches. There will be no angst over whether to support Thom at the expense of losing the general to Cooper, nor who to support in the plethora of candidates eager to primary him. It would resemble the primary in NYC. And we saw how well that worked out.

The second question is how much damage can he do before next year? He has nothing to lose to go full dummycrat. He doesn’t have to change parties. He just has to remain the same, with no incentive to actually act like a conservative.

Because that’s all he can do, is act.

And he’s a bad actor.

Better Late Than Never

The Islamic Republic of Iran declared war on the US in 1979. Granted, it has been an asymmetric war, but it has been war nevertheless. Asymmetric warfare is the method of choice when a smaller or less powerful nation wishes to conduct a war of attrition against a larger, better equipped foe.

Last night President Trump responded to their declaration. President Trump has been telling the mullahs of Iran that they would not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons for over ten years. Trump 1.0 was stymied in most of his objectives by the prevalent deep state operatives trying to defeat him.

Other than Reagan, none of the presidents since – including G.W. Bush – have taken Iran seriously. With such an anemic presidential response and after Barry Obozo and Resident Brandon were selected as leaders of the American nation, it was no surprise that the sociopathic mullahs would expect that all future US presidents would roll over and ignore the true facts. After all, if this is a representation of the will of the American people, that will is pretty weak. And dismal.

Enter President Donald J. Trump 2.0.

POTUS told the mullahs “No nuclear weapons”– a pretty simple declaration. And in true ideological response, they ignored him. After all, they have done whatever they wished – and were richly rewarded for it – for three presidential terms. Last night President Trump asked the proverbial question “What part of NO! do you not understand? Can you hear me now?”

After Israel had decimated the Iranian anti-aircraft missile capability as well as both the military hierarchy and their nuclear scientist cadre, President Trump utilized US capability to finish the job. He didn’t reduce Tehran to a smoldering parking lot, as many have wished for a long time (me among them). And so far, he has left intact their refinery and electrical grid. The subjects in Iran are largely unaffected–for now. But their nuclear weapons program has been eliminated. There hasn’t been a diplomatic response from Iran yet. Their recalcitrant attitude might have been adjusted.

I suspect that Chairman Xi and President Putin have watched with some interest. They are both aware that President Trump is serious about what he says. And now they have the proof that he has the cojones to deliver on his word.

But there will be a response. After Resident Brandon invited tens of thousands of criminals and terrorists into our country, with the assistance of an historically ignorant Marxist deep state and dummycrat legislators, the capability of delivering a response is already in place. For those of us in eastern NC, MCAS Cherry Point, MCAS New River, Camp LeJeune, and Seymour Johnson AFB are likely targets. Not to mention any large gathering of people that an attack upon can bring attention to the world.

I don’t consider the expected attacks to be of the “lone wolf” variety. Some will be coordinated, some will be the efforts of wandering vipers. A “lone wolf” in the real world is simply a packless predator seeking to survive. These attacks will be murderous tantrums of ideological throwbacks seeking to draw attention to their “mission”– that of killing any Jew or Christian, while attempting to facilitate the arrival of the next caliphate. It will not be pretty. It will be fearful.

But least if won’t be accompanied by a mushroom cloud.

As I have mentioned previously – Be prepared.

President Donald J Trump is one of the best –if not THE best – showmen since PT Barnum. He understands timing. He understands optics. He is a master at distraction. He knows when to take things over the top, especially when everyone else thinks that it is inappropriate, and then understates when everyone else expects him to blow up. He is a patriot who deeply loves our country and understands the threat it is in and has been in.

He’s brilliant.

Elon Musk is one of the most intelligent humans of the 21st century. Certainly, one of the most innovative and creative. He understands risk taking and how to transform a risk into a certainty. He is a patriot who understands that the Marxists have been succeeding in completing the destruction of not just our country but the concept and application of liberty, freedom, and capitalism.

He’s brilliant.

So, is the Trump/Musk feud at all real? Or has it been a distraction? I have been cogitating about this for several days, not expecting the turn around to happen quite this quickly. I strongly suspected that it would, but not this soon. One theory is that PDJT sent ICE into Kommifornia specifically to cause an eruption from the west coast Marxists. Mainly to distract the usual Pravda and Izvestia reporters from not doing their usual non-reporting about lying about the “Big Beautiful Bill” meandering itself through congress. It’s the perfect distraction. The useful idiots in the lamestream media can report on the “mostly peaceful demonstrations” while showing footage of burning cars and trucks; bricks and Molotov cocktails being thrown at LAPD cops and National Guardsmen, while ICE, Homeland Security, and US Marshals round up the usual and not so usual suspects. Like congress critters and other public circus clowns who really should know better. I say “should” because anyone with a smidgen (for those of you in Baltimore, it means a small amount) of intelligence would remember that Resident Brandon ain’t in the White House and the new sheriff don’t take that BullSchiff anymore. They really are slow learners. Perhaps they can blame the Department of Education.

Elon was all bent out of shape because of the excessive pork in the “BBB”. Well – it’s a product of congress. Anything less would be not just a miracle but a second coming. Of course it’s full of pork. The only saving grace is if it also has the “poison pill” – granting the president the discretion of NOT spending what he deems is unnecessary and sending the excess cash back to the treasury.

The second thing that got Elon’s knickers in a twist was the removal of the electric vehicle tax deduction. HEY ELON! You can’t have it both ways! The Green New Scam relied on such bogus tax deductions to support the fallacy that “green energy sources” were anything other than a scam and a fraud. He’s WAY too smart not to realize that, and to try to hold on to the hope that it would make it through congress unscathed is really lame. I can not accept that he didn’t have at least some inkling that the EV credit was DOA.

So, again, distractions. Oh, and the distraction that PDJT was in the Epstein files? And they weren’t released to the NYT in 2019, much less 2024? RIIIIGHT! Not a freaking chance.

PDJT and Elon are now friends again. Because Elon is dismayed by the demonstrations in LA. They are dismaying, no question. But again, the master of optics is using them to demonstrate how feckless the Marxists in Kommifornia are.

And how he knows how to take care of them. Always the chess master.

Be Prepared

I suspect that more than a few people – especially those who identify as men – are familiar with that admonition. I raise the question – ARE YOU PREPARED?

And no, I don’t mean do you have a bunker filled with supplies waiting for the coming apocalypse.  Because the apocalypse is already here.

If you hadn’t paid any attention to the latest tragedy from Boulder, CO then go look it up. The thumbnail version is that an illegal alien from Egypt attacked a pro-Isarel group with Molotov cocktails. A particularly heinous method of killing people. Note – All that it took was a few (14) containers of a flammable substance -charcoal lighter works great – and a few matches or lighters and VIOLA! People burned beyond recognition. No guns required.

On one of the videos the viewer is caught saying “I wish I had my gun…” So…why didn’t she have her gun? Colorado is no longer an “Old west” state. It’s blue (at least the metropolitan areas) (somehow, I have a problem relating Colorado with metropolitan – but they have them there) and gun ownership is not supported by the Marxists there.

Last weekend I volunteered at the Military Appreciation Day festival in Morehead City, NC. It is a tribute to say “A Simple Thanks” to those who have served or are serving in our military. Free fishing, food, and fellowship for a day. (There will be another on September 13th in Southport, NC.) While there I spoke to another volunteer who works as a civilian contractor at Cherry Point MCAS. He remarked that the police department had dropped off some new high tech anti-auto intrusion barricades and remarked “Why would they be concerned about security here?”

I pointed out that this was a celebration of thanks and acknowledgement for the US military and that there were a lot of people who did not appreciate our military as much as we did. He thought for a moment and agreed that perhaps there were some people who might want to disrupt our celebration.

The whole time I had my hand on my concealed 9mm pistol. I generally prefer something of a larger caliber, but my 9 is easier to conceal. For those who are aware, this was not a parade, there was no fee to participate, it was an open event. All legal.

The Intifada is here. The terrorist in Boulder was here on an expired visa allowed by resident Brandon. But how many trained, Muslim terrorists came across the border with explicit ideas or instructions to do us harm? They want to harm Jews. But they want to harm those who support Jews. Especially Christians. They want to harm US! The Intifada, or war with those who support Israel, is here.

If you aren’t prepared then you might be one of the casualties. Preparing for the apocalypse doesn’t help if some jerk takes you out at Wal-Mart.

In North Carolina, getting a concealed carry permit is pretty simple. And if you carry without one, it is a misdemeanor (if you haven’t committed a felony. If you have, then don’t.) Yes, Sherriff Hughes does a great job, but his deputies can’t be everywhere. 911 response is 15-30 minutes. My 9mm response time is 1100 feet per second.

How many times a day do you sign your name? I don’t nearly as many times as I used to. Electronic messaging, online banking, legally acceptable electronic signatures have eliminated many, if not most, signatures. Other than greeting cards, I sign very few things. I suspect attorneys and public officials have to sign documents frequently. I sign my name most frequently in restaurants to include a tip.

The higher up the food chain in the political spectrum I suspect (I’m suspecting a lot of things here; not having any actual experience in these positions) that more signatures are expected. Autographs are requested, cards and letters signed. It’s enough to inflict carpel tunnel syndrome.

That’s why the “robot pen” was invented. Thomas Jefferson was the first president to use an early version of the “robot pen.” Considering that Jefferson was a mechanical genius, it is no wonder to me that he would be an early adopter.

The first legal opinion about the legitimacy of using the “robot pen” or what it has evolved into, the Autopen, came in 2005. The Bush DOJ provided a legal opinion that the autopen was a valid presentation of the president’s signature. Considering what we know today about the efficacy of the DOJ, I have my doubts about the quality of legal opinions from that source. Granted, GW Bush might have been significantly more cognitively aware than some later presidents, but I still have to wonder about who was in control of the device.

According to Wikipedia, the first president to use the Autopen to sign legislation was Barry Obozo. But the actual legality of this device has never been tested. What is the difference between the Autopen and a rubber stamp?

Using the Autopen to sign the Proclamation of National Cheeseburger Day, or National Rocky Road Ice Cream Cone Day isn’t quite as consequential as signing, say, a Declaration of War Against the Government of China. Or how about the congratulations to an Eagle Scout compared to pardoning a known crackhead? In all honesty, the pardon for Hunter is identified to bear Biden’s own shaky signature. But the pardon of Fauci, et al, not to mention a bunch of other usual suspects, bear the smooth signature of the Autopen. What other documents including a LOT of executive orders all seem to bear a signature that conform to the Autopen? Even Mitch McConnel (RINO-KY) stated that Biden had no idea that his signature was on some executive orders. Granted, Biden was ignorant of most everything that has happened since 1985, but SOMEONE was controlling the Autopen. Could it have been “Dr.” Jill? It could have been anyone with access to the White House.

Could this happen again? Certainly. Will the responsible adults in Congress (I know, that’s an oxymoron) have the cojones to pass legislation describing the parameters under which the Autopen is a legitimate instrument for presidential legislation or executive order use? OR NOT? If – God Forbid –we have another situation where the sitting president is a rutabaga and the usurpers of power within the White House decide that Our Republic is better run by a bunch of unelected staff members with no oversight and no regard for the inconsequential document known as the US Constitution, perhaps the damage they are attempting to do might be thwarted?

Unfortunately, I don’t really trust a Republican presidential staff much more than a Marxist presidential staff. The only saving grace to me is that I don’t think that a Republican staff will have the amount of destructive imagination as a Marxist staff would.

That quote pretty much describes the entire Marxist cult imbuing the dummycrat party. These dolts are both malicious and stupid. The reference to stupidity can also be exchanged for incompetent. In this case they are equally guilty.

For those of you who have read more than two of my rants you are aware that I am not a fan of Joe Biden. He is a Marxist moronic corruptocrat…I don’t have space, time of life nor stomach to describe the rest of what I think of him.

But in January of 2021 Vice-President Pence certified that Joe Biden was to be sworn in as President of these United States. I have no use for that person (Pence or Biden.) But I have respect for the office. The POTUS is the commander in chief and the executive of this country. For that he should receive the best medical care that this country can provide.

Yet last week we learned that Biden has metastatic prostate cancer. A condition that he likely had carried before he was inaugurated. And that he likely had not had a PSA test for over ten years. Excuse me- WTF!!!

Prostate cancer is likely the most over treated serious male disease in the country. OR so we are told. Yet it is the number 2 killer of men. Which is it? Under or over treated? That is not the basis of this screed.

The President of the United States was NOT treated for an easily detectable disease with horrible consequences. I have seen first hand the result of not treating this disease properly. It is not pretty. In fact, it is not just ugly, it is terrifying. I will refrain from sharing my experiences.

Now the Marxist members of his party insist that out of consideration of his condition that we refrain from proceeding with the investigations into the most corrupt presidency in our history.

Now is the time that we most diligently proceed to determine who allowed the POTUS to NOT be treated for a terminal disease. Was it criminal negligence? Was it criminal incompetence? We really need to know which. Because negligent homicide is still homicide.  And if it is incompetence who are the responsible parties? The responsibility for medical care for the Commander in Chief resides at the Walter Reed Medical Center. The same medical center that is responsible for the medical oversight of our present POTUS. Assuming incompetence rather than malice, a LOT of heads should roll. If malice, then multiple prison terms should be prescribed.

The only way that the people of this country can ascertain whether the POTUS is in danger from the very medical establishment responsible for his health care, whether due to the DEI based decisions from his predecessor or from malicious Marxist based cultists within the health center is to investigate. We REALLY need to know.

It’s not like PDJT can’t afford alternative sources of health care. In fact, I would encourage him to utilize his personal healthcare providers along side those at Walter Reed.

The Marxists in the dummycrat party like to distract the populace with an excuse of pity. Which is pretty ironic considering that the person they which to imbue pity on is the most corrupt president in our history. A president that wasn’t really mentally there, whose entire term was run by White House staff and other unelected principles who used his power to attempt to destroy our country.

Time to bear down on the investigations.

Karma sucks

Karma sucks. So does cancer. I commented on that condition back in January. So, when I saw that former Resident Brandon had prostate cancer, there was no surprise. He’s more than old enough for it. But then they said that it was a Stage 4 (same as mine,) a Gleason score of 9 (mine was an 8) and it had already metastasized to the bone my response was “BullSchiff!”

Some perhaps uncomfortable information and history follows; I will use my usual decorum to describe it.

My first experience with prostate cancer began in 1998, when my father was diagnosed. His diagnosis was almost by accident. As he was about to leave from his annual physical his Dr suggested he get a “finger wave”. (Men and women know about this. The sound of a latex glove snapping on a hand can bring some men to the point of trembling.) His PSA was normal, so why bother. That’s the thing about the prostate. It doesn’t take much to piss it off. A simple benign infection can cause an increased PSA (got the t-shirt.) But he did it anyway and the Dr discovered that his cancer had already broken the capsule. NOT good news. Surgery wasn’t an option (nor with mine) so radiation was prescribed. Some cancers don’t raise the PSA. His didn’t, at least until his metastasized.

Note to males over 50: every year – EVERY YEAR – get a finger wave and a PSA score.

In Resident Brandon’s case, someone screwed up. It takes a long time for prostate cancer to metastasize to the bone. Did the regime’s DEI hire policy dictate that the “appropriate” physicians (not the most qualified) perform all the necessary exams? As commander in chief his medical services are performed at Walter Reed Medical Center. What does this say about the care prescribed and delivered there?

We are each responsible for our own healthcare; we rely on professionals to provide guidance and intelligent directions. Granted, Brandon wasn’t sufficiently cognitive to do so. But what about “Dr.” Jill? One would think that she would be most aggressive in seeing that his medical needs were absolutely fulfilled with top notch treatments and diagnosis. I support my spouse; she supports me.

So, did karma bite Brandon in the butt? Did the regime’s penchant for DEI turn around like a napping DEI ATC hire? I have empathy for Brandon; we share a diagnosis. One major difference is that I was anticipating it and caught mine very early. His road will be a lot tougher. Surgery is unlikely, unless he’s already wearing diaper anyway. Once it gets to the bone, it’s harder to treat. Hormone therapy may slow it down, but I’d be shocked if it slows it down much.

While I have empathy for him, I have no sympathy. If it is indeed karma, well, tough. If it isn’t, he’s still a crook and a jerk.

Sometimes life sucks as well.

A few weeks ago, I commented on the effects that PDJT’s tariffs would have on the world’s economy, especially China’s. Like most everyone, I underestimated our esteemed President Trump. Chairman Xi started out by putting up a strong face. That is very important to many cultures, especially in the orient. Keeping “face” is essential to maintain dignity, to present strength and composure, to display courage and conviction. To do less than this is to invite shame. In some instances, death is preferable to shame.

Shaming is a tool used by our Marxist enemies to generate a reaction to their taunts and abuses. It is effective only against those with a conscience and who can hold shame. Alas, they are invulnerable to the same tactics used against them because they have neither shame nor conscience.

I projected that the tariffs might take over 60 days to show some effect. The Chinese stated that they would “fight to the end” to oppose the US tariffs. Apparently, the end is nearer than they thought. Now, the Chinese are lowering their retaliatory tariffs on some microchips as well as other products. There are as many as 16 million Chinese factory jobs at risk of being lost due to the tariffs. Container ships are reportedly being turned around. Which means a LOT of already manufactured products will not be paid for. Note: there is no unemployment in China. No work, no pay. No pay, no food. Things go downhill from there. Think of 1932 USA but with over a billion people.

Chairman Xi is presently chairman for life. That position does not state how long the term actually is. With the economy beginning to collapse his term may not be as long as he had expected.

Sending out the military against factory workers in cities all across China will be…problematic. Tiananmen Square situations in multiple cities would certainly be bad optics. Mao had no problem with killing millions of his people, but they mostly succumbed to starvation, primarily due to ignorance and central planning. Bad central planning…which it almost always is.  There were no cell phones, no way to document the tragedy.  Seeing the army slaughter civilians because they are rioting for pay and food might be a different situation.

A government coup in China will likely be different from what the Marxists pulled off with Biden. Regardless of what they wished they could do, putting a bullet in Biden’s brain (not that he or anyone else would notice) would not be as acceptable to the news vultures as doing the same to PDJT.

It has been said that war is a result of poor diplomacy. But diplomacy takes different forms. Chairman Xi wants to take Tiawan. Tiawan isn’t interested. The Chinese have already embarked on a very aggressive program to build an enormous army, navy and air force. They have constructed new islands with military bases on them. The invasion of Tiawan wouldn’t require this…but to fight us as well certainly would. With his economy faltering and civilian unrest, how does he pay for the military buildup? Buy guns or butter? Can he afford both? His population growth has also stalled. Who will support both the economy and the military?

POTUS is using economic warfare to replace military warfare. He can starve the military buildup and prevent a shooting war. And in doing so, return basic manufacturing capacity to the US. He’s still playing 5D chess; everyone else is playing tiddlywinks.

What is wrong about Thom Tillis (R_INO-NC)? Yes, that is a rhetorical question. I have neither the column inches nor bandwidth to answer that question. Likely not the years left, either. What is right about Thom Tillis (R-INONC)? Actually…nothing. What is Left about Thom Tillis (R-INONC)? Pretty much everything. Remember when he was in the NC Legislature and he left to run for the US Senate? A lot of us thought that perhaps by shuffling him off to D.C. that his lousy efforts would be diluted by real conservatives. WTF were we smoking?

That’s like the people in Georgia promoting Jimmy “Peanut” Carter to be president to get him out of the state. I was there at that time. See how that worked out?

Thom (R-INO-NC) is a product of the NCGOP Good Ol’ Boys network. Remember Robin Hayes? I happened to be in Greensboro when the NC GOP convention censured Tillis for supporting the immigration bill. Voting to impeach PDJT wasn’t a welcome move, either.

To misquote the late, great Henny Youngman, when talking about RINO’s, “Take Thom Tillis. PLEASE!” (If you are too young to remember Henny Youngman, go to YouTube.com. While you’re there, look up “Who’s on first.” I’ll wait. When you catch your breath from laughing, come back.)

So, what is Thom up to now? He is blocking the approval of Ed Martin for DC District prosecutor. Martin is reputed to be the best pick for that position in our lifetime. The reason for his objection? Martin supported the defendants in the Jan.6 prosecutions. Remember them? When FBI informants helped to herd people into the Capitol while the Capitol Police waved them in?

Tillis was happy when grandmothers stepped into the building, gabbed a quick selfie them stepped out, and then were sentenced to prison. Without habeas corpus. In solitary confinement. When people were prosecuted for their cell phone was identified as being in the vicinity were arrested.

Trespassing in a Federal Building? 10 years to life ought to be sufficient.

So now what can we do? Well, guess who’s coming up for re-election next year? Yep, Good Ole’ Thom. He’s already sending out emails trying to demonstrate how conservative he is. Right.

Here’s the rub. Most Republicans don’t pay attention to the primaries. And that’s what kicks our butts. I didn’t have anything against Mark Robinson, other than I didn’t think he could win the general election. And he couldn’t. Primaries are the MOST important part of the election process. THAT’s how AOC was elected (besides the fact she was in NYC.) We need to pay attention, support a conservative candidate that can win the general election then work like HELL to see that he/she wins. It’s OUR country. We need to act like we care. We have a President who does care, who fights for us and need all the support he can get. That’s OUR job. The next election started last November 6th.

Remember, you can’t accomplish anything sitting on your butt.

Beyond Belief

Like many people, I have certain consistencies. I get up, feed the cats, start the coffee, start reading my morning list of web sites. A very quick perusal of FoxNews Online to ascertain that another Marxist hasn’t assassinated POTUS, then a list of comics. I like to start the day off with coffee and a chuckle. As soon as I get to the news I’m going to get pissed off, so why not start the day with a smile? I ease into that process with Jeff Childer’s Coffee and Covid (yes, before RightWingGranny. Sorry, Mary.  That’s next because my pissed off process will then begin.) Jeff is a conservative attorney in Florida. I know that is usually an oxymoron, but I actually do know a conservative attorney.

Usually, Jeff can ease me into the tension of the day. Not last Saturday. His lead off was about a covid vaccination study entitled “Twelve-Month All-Cause Mortality after Initial COVID-19 Vaccination with Pfizer-BioNTech or mRNA-1273 among Adults Living in Florida.”  I invite you to look it up. You may have to look hard. Jeff includes the credentials and details of the study. The results are astounding.  When filtering for all causes of mortality of those who got the shot (it is obviously NOT a vaccine) they were able to determine that there was a 40% higher chance from dying if you got the Pfizer injection than if you got the Moderna. 40% HIGHER!

Wouldn’t one think that such a finding might inspire a bit of curiosity among the various news organizations? After all, this would seem to be an important bit of news to those who were inspired, cajoled or threatened into getting this opportunity to shorten their life span? If this information could be spun into a stab at PDJT the Marxist news media would screaming this from the rooftops 24/7. But what do we hear? Crickets. Nothing.

I have confessed before that I was briefly a part of this noxious endeavor called “Lame Stream News.” The nausea that this little revelation produces without even the NY Post screaming it from 40 point type is debilitating.

The study gives great detail as to whom is at greater risk. And those over 60 were in the greatest risk of many ways of attaining room temperature. Especially cardiovascular and stroke events. Seeing that I AM in that age group (though so far, no unusual – for me – cardiac events or TIA’s) and that I had two jabs, I can’t say that I am encouraged. I think – think- that I had the Moderna shot. I didn’t save my vaccine card. But while I don’t have (yet) any issues I can correlate to the shots, I certainly do know people who have had devastating results. Such as needing three coronary stents installed within three weeks of the injection with no prior cardiac issues. Or multiple bypasses in the same fashion. This therapy is NOT inexpensive. So, who pays? The insurance companies? Sure. Where do they get their cash? From premiums. Who pays those? I do. You do. If you are on Medicaid, then I do as well as everyone who isn’t on Medicaid.

But who isn’t really paying? Fauci. He’s getting paid. A VERY healthy retirement and royalties from the “research” he was involved in. While a government employee.

HEY ELON! Let’s look into THAT scam a little closer.

It’s Time

All during the Brandon Despondency, the Marxists cried, “We MUST have comprehensive immigration reform to control the border.” Now that PDJT has comprehensively stamped “LIES” on that wail, that mantra is never heard. Why not? Do they not really want comprehensive immigration reform? (Actually, no they don’t.)

What they wanted is to fulfill Obozo’s pledge to “fundamentally transform this country.” What the Marxists really want is to transform this country into one resembling Cuba. Or North Korea. Or Venezuela.

A country of destitute peasants toiling in slavery at the whim of their Marxist masters. With AOC, Chuck Scheamer and David CameraHogg as the Tyrants in Charge. But now that they no longer have the congressional or presidential advantage, they are not so strangely silent.

But I think that it IS time. With at least the House poised to pass judicial restraint bills to rein in the out-of-control leftist judges – remember when Chief Justice Roberts declared to PDJT that “There are no liberal judges or conservative judges, just judges?” – yeah, right! – now is the time to make judicial reform and comprehensive immigration reform part of the same package.

It can be simple: If you entered into this country without benefit of legal standing, then you are an illegal. Brandon’s “pardon” scheme, while legal, is still an administrative slight of hand. None of those individuals received the proper vetting described as appropriate for entry into this country.

I don’t recall the inscription on the Statue of Liberty describing “all your criminals, your diseased, your terrorists, your murdering gangbangers yearning to slaughter and remain free.” That, of course is the Marxists’ version of it. Anything to get more potential “supporters” into this country in order to destroy it.

I have a suggestion for Sen. Van Hollen: If you want Abrigo Garcia back into this country so bad then:

A: He stays in YOUR house.

B: You become personally responsible for his upkeep and personally liable for any possibly illegal actions he may perpetrate, both criminally and civilly.

C: You put up $5 million cash bond to cover any damages he may incur.

If you want him back that badly, then you can use a Go Fund Me account for the cash, with each donor sharing the legal responsibility.

This reform can include “the Dreamers,” although it is conceivable (though I wouldn’t care for it) that anyone brought in by their parents before their 16th birthday could apply for citizenship after a 10-year waiting period, to begin upon application.

Otherwise, NO benefits of any sort or amount. And that includes free health care under the COBRA provisions.

Don’t like it – LEAVE!

The citizens didn’t invite you. Resident Brandon and his Merry Marxists did.

SWAG Observations

The other day my compatriot, the esteemed Dr. Alan Harrop, provided an excellent analysis of the purpose and effect of the POTUS tariff strategy. As I have mentioned, Alan covers facts very concisely, rarely delving into conjecture.

I have no such compunction. There is another facet to the tariff strategy that is a bit of a SWAG (Scientific Wild Ass Guess), but I offer it with researched background.

Right now, the Federal Reserve is holding interest rates high to defeat inflation, which is a normally accepted practice during normal times. Times are not now normal. Inflation is coming down, but haven’t hit the goal yet. Meantime, the real estate market is stagnant. While 7% mortgage rates are not historically high (my first was a bargain at 9.5%), if anyone has a 2-3% mortgage, they aren’t budging from it. Who can blame them? But there are a lot of those mortgages out there. So those folks are sitting tight. And 7-7.5% can still be a stretch considering the beating that inflation has had on earning power and savings. And the housing demand is bursting.

Other credit demands are out there too. Businesses want to build, to expand, to hire. But money is tight.

Enter the tariffs. By using the tariffs, POTUS can bypass the Fed by using the tariffs to drop the bond market so that capital will then seek other sources of earnings.

POTUS nominated Powell during his first term, along with a number of other nominating mistakes. (Comey? Sessions?) The Fed is an independent agency, beholden to neither the President nor the Congress. But it is hardly non-political. Fed Chair Powell is a denizen of the swamp as much as any of them. So, Powell has done things his way, regardless of what the POTUS wants.  And POTUS does what he needs, regardless of what Powell wants. POTUS wants the dollar to remain the dominant trade currency, for the value of that dollar to slip compared to other countries, and to draw manufacturing resources – money, research, and talent – to the US.

The US is the 800-pound gorilla of the world’s economies. Without us, the rest of the world will grind to a trickle, especially China. Chairman Xi may try to save face, but 30 days of the new tariffs and he will be sweating. 60 Days and he’ll be sweating blood. But he can’t allow US products, especially durable goods like cars, to be imported. The quality differences are just too large. He’s caught between a rock and a hard spot. By squeezing the energy market, PDJT impacts Russia as well.

POTUS has signed the death certificate for globalization. The Swamp, especially the “elites” (I can’t describe Pelosi, Scheemer and company as “elite” with a straight face), are seeing their money train careen off the tracks. And the BullDOGER just keeps uncovering more of their theft.

Remember when President Barack O’Bozo was stumping for Her Majesty Hilarious Clinton, Queen of Chappaqua, and asked just how in the world that then candidate DJT was going to return all those manufacturing jobs? What was he going to do, “wave a magic wand”? It looks like 6-7 trillion dollars is already lined up to build new business in this country, plus many of the formerly domestic companies that fed offshore are coming back. POTUS didn’t need a magic wand. He needed a seriously large cudgel to persuade competing countries to play fair.

And the tariffs are that cudgel.

By now you have ascertained that I write (and hold) conservative opinions. Alan contributes factual information; I hope to offer things to ponder. Not that you can’t ponder information -you can and I hope you do – but I wish to offer a different reference.

Lately there has been such an abundance of subjects that it is hard to keep up with all the opportunities to opine about. That and some personal issues have distracted me from delivering my missives. I hope that the drought is over.

The other day RFK jr. – a liberal that I can stomach (very rare) – was using the governor of West Virginia as his foil to emphasize his MAHA agenda. One comment that seems to have escaped much attention was his remark about becoming the Gov’s personal trainer. And putting him on a carnivore diet.

As much as his nefarious stance on vaccines – he is against unproven, dangerous ones, much to the dismay of unelected oligarchs called “bureaucrats” – is often ridiculed and railed against, it was his support of the carnivore diet that caught my ear.

The carnivore diet is a subset of the ketogenic, or “fat burning” diet. Carnivore, if properly implemented, requires eating the organ meats, not just the muscle. For several reasons, I do not find them appetizing. Liver and onions, steak and kidney pie, chitlins’ – all fail to entice me. I’ll take my steak or burger with a salad, thank you.

But RFK jr.’s embracing of the carnivore diet recognizes his acknowledgement that the conventional Standard American Diet as recommended by the FDA is not just flawed, but deadly. Got high cholesterol? It doesn’t come from eating meat or butter. It comes from eating carbohydrates. Want to lose weight and keep it off? Low fat doesn’t work, low carbohydrates do. Sugar, starches, all carbs, whether simple or complex do the same thing: they raise blood glucose. Which causes insulin demand which stores excess carbs as fat.

Ancel Keys is responsible for the war on saturated fat in our diet. He was an epidemiologist. An epidemiological study is nothing more than an opinion poll.  What did you eat on Tuesday six months ago? What about a Monday eight months ago? How many can answer a dietary questionnaire ACCURATELY and HONESTLY that way? But that was the basis for driving the Standard American Diet – SAD.

And it is. The SAD is killing more adults and children than anything else in our lifetimes. Overweight, diabetic children. Children with heart disease. CHILDREN WITH HEART DISEASE. All due to diet. All due to the war on dietary fat in favor of carbohydrates – sugar. Is exercise helpful? Certainly. BUT you can NEVER outrun a bad diet. Exercise works up and appetite. Which is frequently satisfied with twice the calories that were burned.

Here is a dirty secret (sorry Granny G but this might get some flak) carbohydrates are NOT an essential nutrient. Fats are, proteins are, but not carbs. Carbs taste sooo good. Comfort food. They bring a smile to your face. They bring huge profits to Big Food. Carbs have a huge contribution to bad health, especially when overeaten, which they frequently are. Big Food has learned how to make carbs even more addictive than they naturally are. Sugars activate the same pleasure centers as opioids.  “Betcha can’t eat just one”. Or just one bag. Chips, Oreos, Bryers, it doesn’t matter. They’re killing us.

Carpet Bombing

A well-known phrase from bomber pilots is “You know when you’re over the target when you are taking flak.” President Trump is taking flak from all sides: anti-aircraft, rockets and anything the Marxists can throw at him. None of it is reaching him, of course.

And Friday he pulled another unexpected counter to their attacks on him: AG Bondi is ordered to investigate past litigation to uncover “frivolous, unreasonable, and vexatious litigation” against the US as well as conduct that could justify sanctions, disbarment or security clearance reviews. So now the shoe is on the other foot. He ordered the AG to start investigating law firms that have been involved in the lawfare attacks against him both during his first term and since. The serious catch there is that the DOJ doesn’t actually do all of the litigation, a lot of gets parceled out to private law firms as contractors. And since much of it may contain classified material, if they don’t have the status, they don’t qualify for the contracts. WHOOPS!

This term he has picked an AG that is squarely in his corner and itching to take the fight to Marxist law firms that have been attacking him. And he doesn’t have to spend his own money to do it.

During the Vietnam Debacle, the newly installed B-52 bombers initiated a practice called “Operation Arc Light”. During these operations the B-52’s were flying through the stratosphere, well above visual and auditory range. I didn’t have the opportunity to observe one of these operations, but as described by people I know who did see them, it was described as watching the sudden end of the world from a distance. The targets were hit with a literal carpet of ordnance, devastating everything in its’ path. No warning, just instant death from the sky.

This has been the nature of POTUS’ return to power. Give no warning, take no prisoners. In this move he has cut the legal legs out from under the opposition, making them scramble for their very existence.

There has been a tremendous amount of legal and historical research to provide the details, timing and creation of the executive orders that has started a real demolition of the bureaucracy. The swamp is draining. The swamp critters are screaming, flailing and failing.

Now, as the Marxists co-ordinate attacks on Tesla dealers and vehicles, the DOJ isn’t just sitting and watching. The terrorists are being caught and charged. As will the other Marxist supported anarchists that had enjoyed a free reign of terror during the previous administration.

Promises made. Promises kept.

“It was the best of times; it was the worst of times.” A more apropos description of today has never been written. For us conservatives it is absolutely the best of times. We are experiencing the greatest change in government and technology since FDR and World War II

And it is breathtaking.

Fortunately, the governmental change is in the right direction. President Trump has embraced the concepts and vison of our founding fathers as a country being a representative republic rather than a bureaucratic dictatorship.

While the technology of WWII was breathtaking it was more visible. Planes, tanks, ships, and weapons were visible at least by newsreel If not in person. Our technology is hidden within our cars, delivered from vast data centers, contained within virtually every device we interact with. Rocket ships land within the grasp of mechanical arms! A stunt of technology? Certainly. And an astounding one.

For the Marxists, however, it is the worst of times. Living in a fantasyland of their own devise, they have isolated themselves from the populace and their supporters instead relying on their own warped imagination to provide a foundation for their direction. A foundation residing on quicksand.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the classical definition of insanity. Today it is the domain of the Marxist dummycrat party. The Lame Stream News outlets expound on the efforts of the stupid, displaying for all to see how disconnected they really are.

When Donald J. Trump began to demonstrate that not only was he serious about becoming president but he could do it, his “mean tweets” and dismissive attitude toward his political opponents generated Trump Derangement Syndrome. He wasn’t acting “presidential.” I, too, was first turned off by him. Then I recognized his strategy. He was keeping his opponents off balance. And doing it extremely well. And is still doing it. They didn’t like his demeanor. And da meaner he got the better I liked him. (da bump crash!)

Trump 1.0 was unprepared for his reception. Trump 2.0 found the opposition to be woefully unprepared for him. The continued lawfare is a temporary speedbump. And the speed with which he is demolishing the bureaucracy is delicious and exciting. No more Department of Education. Hopefully the Department of Energy is next. Neither department has done ANYTHING to improve the success of either education nor energy.  Fortunately, I was educated before the DOE. Unfortunately, our daughter was not. Nor were far too many victims of government overreach and the tentacles of the NEA.

We can be sure that the Marxists will never quit. They will attempt a comeback. But if they continue like they are, we can hold on to our support, siphon away theirs and perhaps have a true USA within my lifetime.

Senate Stupidity

Just how stupid are the Marxists in the Senate? Note I didn’t ask how stupid can they get. The first question (somewhat rhetorical) prescribes a measurement, the second is usually taken as a challenge.

If using intelligence as a basis, likely many of them will show up in negative numbers. Others will perform around room temperature, typically that of a walk-in cooler. The HALT (Halt All Trafficking of Lethal Fentanyl) passed the senate with 16 members voting “nay.” This bill closed the loophole on trafficking fentanyl analogs that are similar in effect and chemical composition but not precisely fentanyl. This prevents traffickers from skirting the law by selling something that is just as lethal as the original but technically legal.

The 16 included all of the usual suspects: Cory Booker (Dummy, NJ), Adam Schiff (Dumber, CA), Raphael Warnock (Stupid, GA), Fauxcahauntas (Delirious, MA), and  Mazie Hirono (Dumbest, HI.).

Their excuses for not supporting the bill? It would “disproportionately affect minorities”. It wouldn’t allow for research to be sure that some analogs might have beneficial properties (The bill DOES provide for that, proof that not only some are stupid but also illiterate. Or too lazy to actually read the bill. Or DO THEIR JOB! Please excuse the shouting. My patience with stupidity is wearing thin.)

Another excuse is that it actually wouldn’t reduce the availability of the drugs. While that statement is true, that isn’t the purpose of the bill. The purpose is for law enforcement to arrest the traffickers without them having a lethal loophole. They claim it will lead to “mass incarcerations”. No one, however, mentioned that this is the same bill that was passed in 2018, due to expire this month. Did they cite the “mass incarcerations” that resulted since 2018? Another rhetorical question, apparently.

So, what is the real reason for opposing the bill? Just to be contrary? Likely. To display their “social justice” bona fides? Rather than “real justice” bona fides? Or has the collapse of the Act Blue fund-raising scam threatened to reveal another source of indirect funds, such as the very cartels that smuggle this poison into our country? Or the Chinese manufacturers of the raw materials that deliver them to the cartels? Certainly, such honorables as US Senators would be above accepting money derived from such nefarious sources.

President Trump’s address to Congress last Tuesday was another opportunity for the dummycrats to display how childishly immature they really are. Rep. Al Greene took the lead role in the orchestrated “resistance” to President Trump’s success thus far; throwing a tantrum and waving his cane.

Interestingly, the cane can be easily turned into a weapon as Sen Charles Sumner discovered in 1856, when Rep. Preston Brookes (D,SC) used his to bludgeon Sumner almost to death. Leftists like to use violence against their enemies. If a Republican had performed like that in front of a dummycrat majority congress with a dummycrat president, he would have been charged with attempted assassination.

When a child throws a tantrum, the quickest and most appropriate method of halting such ridiculous behavior is splashing water in his face. While this certainly seems appropriate in this case, the remembrance of the water hoses dummycrat sheriffs used against civil rights marchers in the early sixties would likely result in cries of “racism.” Just having him justifiably removed was sufficient to have that result anyway.

Then the rest of the clowns began their portion of the show. The auction paddles popped up, signifying that the holder was an idiot. Granted, it didn’t require a paddle to identify the idiots, it merely reinforced the obvious.

Refusing to applaud any of the successes achieved thus far established beyond doubt that whoever is leading this flock of sheep (Hakim Jefferies?) is not just clueless, but is determined to commit political suicide. Even President Obozo promised to eliminate waste, fraud, and corruption. Another blatant lie, but that’s what they do. Slick Willy, Hillary’s husband, promised to reduce the size of the government. Remember “The age of big government was over?” Right. So, while POTUS actually achieved what their Messiah promised, it’s a bad practice. POTUS was correct in his assessment that they would refuse to applaud for him if he found a cure for the worst disease in the world.

We can hope that these morons will continue their course of behavior, maybe even run Kamala again in 2028. Usually when one finds themselves in a hole, the best choice is to stop digging. These clowns get an excavator.
