Is Anyone Surprised By This?

If the polls are correct, Zohran Mamdani will be elected Mayor of New York City tomorrow. I am hoping that the polls are not correct. I would love to see Curtis Sliwa win that election, but that is not possible. It is remotely possible that New Yorkers will come to their senses in time to elect former Governor Cuomo. He’s not a great choice, but he is a better choice than Zohran Mamdani.

On November 3, Townhall reported:

Last week, Canary Mission reported that Zohran Mamdani’s candidacy is a trial balloon for a radical socialist takeover of America. They’re right, and we spelled out how several Democratic Party Senate candidates are following in Mamdani’s radical footsteps.

However, there’s more to Mamdani’s campaign, and Canary Mission has revealed the connection between the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and how they’re bankrolling Mamdani’s campaign.

…”The story is not just, you know, that it’s random that Zohran ascended to this place,” Sarsour (Linda Sarsour) continued. “It is our Muslim-American communities, and I’ll also say that’s Muslim money. The PACs that have supported Zohran, or a particular PAC that has supported Zohran is probably over 80% of Muslim American donors in this country. High net donors, grassroots donors. And I want to make the point that the Unity and Justice Fund PAC, which is the CAIR super PAC…was the largest institutional donor to the pro-Zohran PAC in New York.”

The article concludes:

Mamdani’s radical socialist and Islamic ties should be an alarm bell for all New Yorkers as well as all Americans. They are not hiding their Leftist agenda or their goal to topple America and remake it in a socialist-Muslim image. Other Democrats are hopping on this radical bandwagon, and they must be stopped.

Just to refresh your memory, CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Trial in 2007. Included in the government exhibits of that trial is “An Explanatory Memorandum: From the Archives of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” This document is the blueprint for the peaceful takeover (through lawfare and elections) of the United States of America by the Muslim Brotherhood. Please follow the link and take a close look at it.  If America does not wake up soon, we will no longer be the last remaining bastion of western civilization.

Revisiting An Old Issue

On Tuesday, The Washington Free Beacon posted an article reporting that Representative Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.) and Senator Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) are urging the Trump administration to investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations’s links to Hamas. If you have been following RightWingGranny for any length of time, this ‘possible’ link is not a surprise.

In December 2015, I posted:

If Americans want to be fully informed on Islamic terrorism–who it is, what it is, and how it works–they need to be familiar with the Holy Land Foundation trial and the government exhibits that are filed with it. In 2008 the directors of the Holy Land Foundation (America’s largest Islamic charity) were convicted on multiple charges of terrorism financing. The trial revealed a lot about the Muslim Brotherhood in America–its plans, its operations, and its affiliated groups. The government exhibits from the Holy Land Foundation trial are available on line. They are in Arabic, but the English translation follows. There were also numerous Muslim organizations named in the trial as unindicted co-conspirators. Some of the groups with known associations to the Muslim Brotherhood are CAIR, ICNA, MSA, ISNA and others. For further information about the Holy Land Foundation Trial and these organizations, I suggest reading Shariah the Threat to America, the Team B II Report (available on Amazon) and the Muslim Mafia by P. David Gaubatz (available on Amazon). Meanwhile, what follows is an illustration of why all Americans need this information.

Yesterday the Daily Caller posted an article about Rafia Farook, the mother of San Bernardino terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook. Mrs. Farook is an active member of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a Muslim organization that promotes the establishment of a caliphate and has ties to a radical Pakistani political group called Jamaat-e-Islami.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

In a letter sent Tuesday to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, the Republicans argue that CAIR’s “pattern of historic ties” to Hamas, combined with the rhetorical encouragement CAIR leaders have offered for Hamas, may constitute “material support for terrorism.” They cite CAIR’s designation as an unindicted co-conspirator in a 2009 federal court case against the Holy Land Foundation, a Hamas front group, and pro-Hamas rhetoric from CAIR leaders in the wake of the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.

CAIR executive director Nihad Awad, for example, said in November 2023 that he was “happy to see” Hamas attack the Jewish state, and applauded Hamas operatives for “breaking the siege” against Israel. Cotton and Stefanik noted that Awad is a former leader of the Islamic Association of Palestine, a propaganda arm of Hamas.

You get the picture. Please follow the links to read both articles. It is long past time to wake up and smell the coffee. Another book I highly recommend is Catastrophic Failure by Stephen Coughlin, also available on Amazon.

Common Sense From A Congressman

On Tuesday, Fox News reported the following:

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., is calling on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to revoke the nonprofit status of a Muslim advocacy group that he believes has ties to terror groups, including Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

In the letter, Cotton notes that “in the largest terrorism-financing case in U.S. history, [the Council on American-Islamic Relations] was listed as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee.” CAIR was listed as an unindicted coconspirator in the infamous Holy Land Foundation (HLF) terrorism financing case. The organization later attempted, unsuccessfully, to have its name removed from the list.

The Justice Department found that HLF and five of its leaders had, while working together and with others, “provided material support to the Hamas movement.” In total, the groups provided Hamas with approximately $12.4M, according to the DOJ.

In July of 2024, PJ Media reported:

The first indication of the activities of this clandestine (Muslim) Brotherhood organization came in September 2007, with the revelation during the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terrorism funding trial of a document dating from May 1991, “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America.” It stated that “The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions” (p. 7).

The article concludes:

CAIR was disavowed by the Biden administration after the organization’s executive director appeared to praise Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre. In November 2023, just weeks after the attacks, CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said he was “happy to see” Palestinians “breaking the siege and throwing down the shackles of their own land.” Additionally, in his remarks, Awad appeared to further justify the attacks, saying that “the people of Gaza have the right to self-defense” and that Israel does not.

The New York Times quoted then-Biden spokesperson Andrew Bates as saying that the administration condemned the “shocking, antisemitic statements in the strongest terms.”

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) slammed Awad’s recent remarks about the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites. The national executive director said that “Netanyahu calls the shots. Trump pretends to be in charge.” Additionally, the ADL pointed out that Hussam Ayloush, executive director of CAIR’s Los Angeles chapter, referred to Congress and the White House as “Israeli-occupied territories.”

The remarks are not shocking once you realize who CAIR is. Their nonprofit status should be revoked and they should be monitored closely for terrorist activity. If you have not yet read the document referred to in the PJ Media article, please take the time to read it. It is important.

Rewarding Bad Behavior

On Monday, The Jerusalem Post posted an article about some of the consequences of anti-Semitism at Harvard University. Spoiler alert–there are no negative consequences.

The article reports:

In October 2023, Ibrahim Bharmal and Elom Tettey-Tamaklo surrounded a Jewish student named Yoav Segev and covered him with keffiyehs while shouting “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

One of two Harvard students who assaulted a Jewish classmate during an anti-Israel protest in October 2023 has been appointed as class marshal by Harvard Divinity School at the upcoming graduation ceremony.

This comes just three weeks after the other assailant was awarded a $65,000 Harvard Law School fellowship to work at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The Harvard Law Review website says its $65,000 fellowship goes to recent Harvard Law School graduates “with a demonstrated interest in serving the public interest through their work and scholarship.”

Just to refresh your memory– CAIR was founded in 1994. CAIR is listed among the unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation Trial. It was included as an unindicted co-conspirator because it was involved in funding Hamas.

The article notes:

In October 2023, Ibrahim Bharmal and Elom Tettey-Tamaklo surrounded a Jewish student named Yoav Segev and covered him with keffiyehs while shouting “Shame! Shame! Shame!” as he tried to free himself and said “don’t touch me.”

While Bharmal and Tettey-Tamaklo originally faced a criminal trial, Boston Municipal Court Judge Stephen W. McClenon dismissed the charges at the end of April, instead ordering them to attend “pre-trial diversion” anger management courses and perform 80 hours of community service.

Rewarding violence is not acceptable. I wonder what the response would have been if the violence had been against a black student. Harvard has totally lost any credibility as an institute of higher learning. Instead, it has become a home for those in our country who refuse to learn the lessons of history.
