News From The House Oversight Committee

On Friday, Just the News posted an article about the testimony given to the House Oversight Committee by Hunter Biden associate Rob Walker. The testimony is important, but will probably be ignored by the mainstream media.

The article reports:

Hunter Biden associate Rob Walker appeared for a transcribed interview with the House Oversight Committee Friday as the latest witness in the impeachment inquiry and weeks before Hunter Biden is set to testify.

According to a source familiar with Walker’s testimony, he confirmed reports that Hunter Biden’s work for the Chinese energy company CEFC began while Joe Biden was still Vice President, in 2015.

In December, Just the News reported that the impeachment inquiry had assembled a growing body of evidence that Hunter’s work with the Chinese energy company started years before its million dollar payments began to flow into the Biden family coffers in 2017, following Joe Biden’s departure from office.

It it interesting to me that the Committee is lining its ducks in a row before they get to Hunter Biden. The information that is being uncovered seems to implicate President Biden, but since the questionable activities occurred before he was President, I don’t see impeachment as an option. However, if influence peddling is proven, it does seem as if some sort of accountability should be required.

The article also notes:

Previously, the Oversight Committee traced funds from CEFC that ultimately ended up in Joe Biden’s bank account through his brother, James.

According to a previous committee memo, Northern International Capital, a Chinese company connected to CEFC, sent $5 million in August 2017 to Hunter Biden’s company. Later that month, Hunter Biden wired $150,000 to Lion Hall Group, a company owned by Biden’s brother, James Biden, and his sister-in-law Sara Biden, evidence shows.

Days later, Sara Biden took out $50,000 in cash from Lion Hall Group and then deposited it into her and James Biden’s personal account that same day. The following week, Sara Biden sent a $40,000 check to Joe Biden marked as a “loan repayment.”

According to a source familiar with the testimony, Walker reportedly made excuses for Joe Biden’s apparent involvement in the CEFC deal, despite texts from former business partner Tony Bobulinski that appear to show otherwise, Just the News has learned.

It’s amazing how some people really prosper after being elected to serve the public.

 

As The Evidence Mounts

As the evidence mounts that the Biden family had very large inexplicable sources of income during Joe Biden’s political career, the family, the media, and the Democrat party are struggling to explain exactly what was going on. On Thursday, The Hill posted an article with the latest explanation/justification.

The article, by Jonathan Turley, explains:

As the House of Representatives goes into high gear in its impeachment proceedings (and possible contempt resolution against Hunter Biden), the Biden family legal problems continue to mount. In one week, it was revealed that President Biden’s brother James was caught on an FBI audiotape in a corruption investigation, while Ashley Biden, the president’s daughter, is now also facing demands for unpaid taxes.

James Biden is expected to appear before the House for questioning in the coming weeks. The appearance may solidify a new line of defense for the Bidens: that they are harmless grifters.

After years of denying influence peddling with the help of an obligating media, even some Democrats are now admitting that Hunter and his uncles have been selling influence. Biden associates confirmed that Joe Biden was the brand that they were peddling to foreign clients, who paid millions to the family.

The article also notes:

The greater problem facing the White House is that roughly 70 percent of voters (including 40 percent of Democrats) believes that President Biden acted illegally or unethically, or both. Even Hunter’s friend Archer said that the president’s denials of knowledge were “categorically false.” Other witnesses, such as Tony Bobulinski, have stated under oath that they personally spoke to Joe Biden about these dealings.

This is likely why defenders are now failing back on the claim that the Bidens may have been grifting, but not actually selling out. It was an act put on for corrupt marks wanting to buy an advantage. That is why the Biden team immediately said that James Biden took $100,000 but then did nothing to deliver his brother.

It is becoming very obvious that Joe Biden is not the model of an honest office-holder. However, since almost all of these actions were done when he was Vice-President, I don’t see their relevance to impeachment. I haven’t seen any actual evidence that he is currently crooked. Admittedly, you can draw that conclusion based on his past actions, but that really isn’t good enough. The Democrats made impeachment a joke. The Republicans need to avoid doing the same thing.

How Many News Sources Have Reported This?

The mainstream media controls the narrative not only by how they slant their stories, but also by leaving out stories that do not fit their narrative. During the run-up to the 2020 election, most of the media chose to ignore or censor stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop. The FBI also buried the story by not investigating the charges made by a whistleblower. That whistleblower appeared on Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night and told his story.

The American Thinker posted an article on Wednesday with some stunning details from that interview.

The article reports:

Most readers already know that Tony Bobulinski was the business partner of Hunter Biden and his uncle, Jim Biden, the president’s brother, as they attempted to put together deals with foreign actors.  That partnership broke up, and Bobulinski has become a whistleblower.  But his efforts to interest the FBI in multiple Biden family felonies, including against him, have come to naught.

Last night, in a second sit-down interview with Tucker Carlson, Bobulinski laid out stunning details on how the FBI deep-sixed any public revelations, much less indictments, based on what Bobulinski says are thousands of pages of proof, including emails, text messages, recorded phone calls, and actual business documents.  Despite having possession of abundant evidence, the FBI sat on the investigation through the 2020 election, thereby depriving the public of information that almost certainly would have swayed enough votes to change the outcome and re-elect Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, The New York Post reported:

In his first television appearance in two years, Bobulinski recalls his surprise when he saw that Jim Biden was calling him, and says he showed his ringing phone to the FBI field agents interviewing him at the FBI Washington Field Office.

“On my BlackBerry, Jim Biden called me via WhatsApp, and … my phone starts ringing in the middle of this interview. So, I looked down and I’m like, ‘Is he really calling me right now?’

“So, I show the phone to my lawyer and … then I showed it to the agent. The agents got up out of the chair and left the room. They were like, ‘You can take that call if you want.’ And so, I answered it and there was nobody on the other side. So, I don’t know if it was a mistake or that he tried to send me a message, or what it was. But that’s the last interaction or communication I’ve had with the Biden family.”

Bobulinski gave the FBI a five-hour interview that day, Oct. 23, 2020, as well as the contents of his three cellphones containing encrypted messages between Hunter and Jim Biden and their business partners, emails, and financial documents detailing the Biden family’s influence-peddling operation in foreign countries during Joe’s vice presidency.

How The Cover-Up Worked

On September 2, NewsMax posted an article about the FBI’s handling of the Hunter Biden laptop case. It seems as though there were some serious conflicts of interest in the investigation.

The article reports:

A former FBI official accused of running interference in the investigation into Hunter Biden was ”running point” on the bureau’s handling of Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden’s former business associate who was tasked with setting up the family’s joint venture with the Chinese firm CEFC, the Washington Examiner reports.

Timothy Thibault, who has been accused of bias in handling the investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop, resigned from the bureau abruptly last weekend.  

Bobulinski, who in 2020 accused Joe Biden of lying about his involvement in his family’s overseas dealings, was also a key witness in the Hunter Biden laptop saga. He has said Thibault suppressed the evidence he gave to the FBI about the Biden family.

The Hunter Biden laptop case was an important investigation that could have easily influenced the 2020 election. The fact that the case was squelched by the FBI does not say good things about the FBI.

The article concludes:

In a July letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said whistleblowers reported that Thibault had sought to close ”an avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting” and sought to prevent it from being reopened.

”Mr. Thibault’s statement fails to address the allegations brought forth by whistleblowers who provided specific and credible allegations of political bias and his failure to comply with Department and FBI guidelines and standards.”

”Political bias should have no place at the FBI. We need accountability, which is why Congress must continue investigating and the inspector general must fully investigate as I’ve requested,” Grassley continued.

I am not convinced this case is going to be widely reported or have consequences even with all of the evidence that has come out. Americans need to find news sources that are reliable and report things of this nature. Otherwise, we will continue to elect politicians that use their office to get rich and totally ignore the interests of the American people who sent them to Washington.

The article cites a number of articles that have been written about the interview and includes a partial and full video of the interview. Please follow the link above to see those.

The article notes a few key points about the interview:

  • Hunter and James Biden brought nothing to the deal other than the Biden family name,
  •  What China wanted was the Biden family name,
  •  Joe Biden was involved in the business deal, so much so that he had veto power over negotiations,
  •  In 2017, Bobulinski met Joe Biden twice when the Biden side of SinoHawk was courting him to step in and act as CEO,
  •  Bobulinski also spoke at length with James Biden, Joe’s brother,
  •  When Bobulinski asked James how they could get away with this kind of deal, which seemed to be falling into dangerous territory given that Joe could run again for president, James announced, “plausible deniability,” and
  • The Biden group stiffed Bobulinski, leaving him out of pocket for all his expenses while channeling CEFC’s money into another entity that did not involve Bobulinski.

Regardless of how you feel about the relationship between China and the Biden family, I think after watching the interview, you might hesitate to do business with the Bidens just on the basis of their concept of ‘plausible deniability’ and the ethical perspective that statement reveals.

More Evidence For The Mainstream Media To Ignore

Gregg Jarrett posted an article today about more evidence that is coming to light about the activities of the Biden family during the time Joe Biden was Vice-President.

The article reports:

Joe Biden’s claim that he has never discussed business directly with his son Hunter “is false” says Tony Bobulinski. “I have firsthand knowledge about this because I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden” added Bobulinski who has been outed as a colleague of the Bidens in text messages obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

On May 1, 2017, Hunter Biden texted Bobulinski, “No matter what it will need to be a US company at some level in order for us to make bids on federal and state-funded projects. Also, We don’t want to have to register as foreign agents under the FCPA which is much more expansive than people who should know choose not to know.” The very next day after the text was sent, May 2, 2017, Hunter arranged for a meeting in Los Angeles with Bobulinski, James Biden and Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden’s text went on to say, “James has very particular opinions about this so I would ask him about the foreign entity. Regardless, we should have a DE come called CEFC America…” At a press conference on Thursday, Bobulinski recognized the occurrence of the meeting and said it lasted an hour. In that hour, the entire meeting, “the Biden’s family business plans with the Chinese” was discussed. Bobulinski said of father Joe Biden that he was “plainly familiar” with the plans discussed at the meeting “at a high level.”

Biden’s reference to FCPA is believed to be the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. CEFC China Energy is “a Chinese conglomerate whose chairman had links to the communist regime in Beijing” according to the DCNF. Additionally, the DCNF acknowledges “Biden did not explain in the messages why he thought the venture with CEFC would violate FARA or FCPA without the buffer of a U.S. shell company.”

At least he was smart enough to use the loopholes in the law to avoid officially breaking the law.

The article concludes:

Bobulinski has provided emails, text messages and business records to the Senate Homeland Security Committee and even met with the FBI on Thursday. Information provided showed “Bobulinski, Hunter Biden, James Biden and two other partners, James Gilliar and Rob Walker, went on to form companies called SinoHawk and Oneida Holdings to partner with CEFC.” Furthermore, the information shows Oneida Holdings was formed only a mere three weeks after the big meeting, on May 22, 2017.

Where is the FBI that so meticulously combed through every scrap of information they could find on President Trump and his associates?
