Five Things President Trump Did This Year To Protect Children

On Saturday, The Liberty Daily posted a list of five things President Trump did in 2025 that the media somehow overlooked.

This is the list:

1. Pardoning the FACE Act Prisoners

2. Expanding the Mexico City Policy

3. Classifying Transgender Procedures for Kids as Human Rights Violations

4. Ending Taxpayer-Funded Abortions for Illegal Migrant Children

5. Upgrading Human Trafficking Hotline

The FACE Act prisoners were the people arrested outside abortion clinics for praying or encouraging women to keep their babies. The Mexico City Police forbids the use of taxpayer money to pay for overseas abortions.

The article concludes with information regarding the upgrading of the Human Trafficking Hotline:

The Trump administration has chosen a new provider to run its human trafficking hotline after complaints that the Biden administration’s provider failed to answer calls from victims, The Daily Signal first reported.

HHS’ Administration for Children and Families announced a five-year, projected $35 million grant to Compass Connections to run the National Human Trafficking Hotline.

HHS received complaints from victims and state attorneys general that with the previous provider under the Biden administration, wait times were too long, calls were dropped, and victims could not rely on the hotline to deliver the necessary quality of service.

“State attorneys general were telling us that third-party tips were not getting delivered to law enforcement, so their investigations into human trafficking were hindered,” acting Administration for Children and Families Assistant Secretary Andrew Gradison told The Daily Signal, “and they had a much harder time getting criminals off the streets of human trafficking, to get information where it needs to go on time in an accurate way, so that law enforcement can make arrests and end human trafficking.”

The award includes an increase of $1 million annually and will bring annual funding to $7 million, showing Trump’s commitment to protecting survivors of human trafficking, according to Gradison.

We are moving toward better protecting our babies and children.

Four Radical Proposals That Would Impact America If Enacted

The Daily Wire recently posted an editorial about four radical Democrat proposals that didn’t get a whole lot of publicity.

These are the four proposals with some brief commentary from the editorial:

1. On March 3rd, 2021 the House of Representatives passed H.R.1, also known as the “For The People Act of 2021”.

…Senior Legal Fellow Hans Von Spakovsky elaborated on the dangers of the bill in an article for The Heritage Foundation, which outlined three key reasons why the bill should be opposed:

First, the bill would “usurp the role of the states” in elections and ultimately damage the integrity of the voting process as a whole. Second, he argues that citizenship and identity should be authenticated before casting a ballot. And last, he stresses that it is not Congress’ job to try and fix election related issues since federal intervention would only make existing problems worse.

Those who oppose the Democrats’ “For the People Act” posit that the removal of identification requirements endangers America’s Republic, and should be condemned. Valid identification is already required to drive, drink, and purchase a firearm, and to maintain logical consistency, identification should be required to vote.

The fate of the bill will be decided by the United States Senate.

2. The “Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2021”

H.R.8 — more commonly known as the “Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2021” — was passed by the House of Representatives on March 11, 2021. The final tally was 227 votes to 203, with all but one Democrat member voting yes, alongside eight Republicans.

The bill requires a federal background check for nearly every change of possession a firearm goes through, even those which are temporary or private. According to an analysis of the bill conducted by the NRA, simply handing a firearm to another person would, in many cases, become a criminal offense.

3. The Enhanced Background Checks Act of 2021, or H.R.1446 is a bill that passed in the house on March 11th, 2021 with a final vote of 219-210.

The bill was sponsored by Representative James E. Clyburn (D-SC) and aims to eliminate the “Charleston loophole” — named after the Charleston shooting in 2015 that left nine individuals dead inside of the Emanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Charleston loophole is a term used to describe an event where an individual obtains a firearm after their mandatory background check takes longer than three business days to complete. The so-called “loophole” is possible because of an amendment to the 1993 Brady Bill made three days the maximum amount of time an uncompleted background check can prevent an individual from obtaining a firearm.

The proposed bill would raise the firearm hold limit to a maximum of ten business days, meaning Americans could expect wait periods of over three times the length they experience now.

4. When President Biden took office earlier this year, he wasted no time and released a flurry of executive orders that created new policies and reversed old ones. According to a Newsweek fact check, President Biden broke the record for the most executive orders in a president’s first week.

According to the Daily Wire’s Ian Haworth, when it comes to Biden’s “Executive Order on Strengthening Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act”, federal agencies will be directed to expand access to Obamacare and effectively work towards the long-term goal of achieving socialized medicine.

The Democratic Party is by no means shy about socialized medicine being part of their radical agenda. On the official website of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) —  a prominent face of the Democrats — she “is an unapologetic advocate of Medicare for All, which would create a universal, single payer healthcare system.” Some might argue that Ocasio-Cortez is too far Left and doesn’t represent the entirety of the Democratic party, though. So, what about the sitting Vice President?

In a 2019 op-ed for Medium, Vice President Kamala Harris — who was a Presidential candidate at the time — claimed that, “In America, health care should be a right, not a privilege only for those who can afford it. It’s why we need Medicare for All.”

Biden’s “Executive order on Strengthening Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act” is simply the Democrats taking another step towards making socialized medicine a reality.

The article also mentions the rescinding of the Mexico City policy. The Mexico City policy prevented American taxpayers’ money from being used to fund abortions abroad.

I Am Hoping This Will Never Happen

Yesterday The Blaze posted an article about former Vice-President Joe Biden’s plans for executive orders should he become President.

The article reports:

Former Vice President Joe Biden plans to roll out at least four executive orders should he ultimately be sworn in as president on Jan. 20, undoing the work of President Donald Trump, his campaign said this week.

A spokesperson for the Biden campaign on Monday told Fox News that the former vice president plans to rejoin both the Paris climate agreement and the World Health Organization and also plans to reinstate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — or DACA — and repeal the president’s so-called travel ban on certain Muslim countries.

Biden has also previously vowed to repeal Trump’s tax cuts and reverse the Mexico City Policy, which bans foreign aid from going to nongovernmental organizations that promote or pay for abortions.

“Other abortion-related policies and those weakening the Affordable Care Act will likely be on the chopping block in a Biden-Harris administration as well,” the outlet noted.

All of these policies will not help America move forward. Repealing the tax cuts will slow economic growth, ending the travel ban will make Americans less safe, and rejoining the Paris climate agreement will cripple the American economy while not impacting economic rival China. Just for the record, America has cut its carbon emissions despite not being part of the agreement; China continues to build coal-generated electric plants, increasing its carbon emissions. It is also unfortunate that the Democrats are so beholden to their Planned Parenthood donors that they find it necessary to use taxpayer dollars to fund abortions overseas.

A Biden administration will be a continuation of the anemic growth we experienced in the Obama administration.
