Our Justice System Isn’t Working

On Monday, The New York Post posted an article about a woman who was charged with a felony for threatening to kill President Trump. The woman, Nathalie Rose Jones, had been denied bail because of persistent threats to President Trump she posted on social media.

The article reports:

A New York City woman locked up for making deranged social media posts threatening to kill President Trump was quietly released by a Democrat-appointed judge last week.

Chief US District Judge James Boasberg, appointed by President Barack Obama, released Nathalie Rose Jones, a 50-year-old Big Apple resident, under electronic monitoring on Aug. 27 and ordered that she see a psychiatrist once back home, court documents revealed.

The article includes the following:

“Here’s where we are,” Jones wrote in a long Facebook post on Aug. 6.

“I literally told FBI in five states today that I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation present,” she allegedly wrote, ending the paragraph, “Let’s deal with this and restore domestic tranquility.”

In other posts, Jones urged Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to “please arrange the arrest and removal ceremony of POTUS Trump as a terrorist on the American People from 10-2pm at the White House on Saturday, August 16th, 2025.”

Officials were aware of concerning posts starting on Aug. 2 and Jones herself told Secret Service agents in an Aug. 15 interview that she would “carry out the mission of killing” Trump with a “bladed object” if she were given the chance.

Many of her social media posts tagged federal agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Friends of Jones told Boasberg, appointed by Obama in 2011, that she has a history of “schizophrenia” and mental illness but has never become violent, Law and Crime reported, citing court docs.

Ms. Jones needs to spend some time in a place that treats mental health patients. She is a danger not only to President Trump, but to society.

Restoring The Power to The Executive Branch

We seem to be having a problem right now with a lot of the court cases opposing President Trump’s (and the American people’s) agenda. Oddly enough, a lot of these cases seem to end up in the court of one particular judge, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg. Well, there may be a way (other than impeachment) to get back to government by “we the people” who elected President Trump.

On Monday, Just the News reported the following:

An Arizona congressman introduced legislation Monday to remove the federal judge who has blocked President Donald Trump’s efforts to deport Venezuelan gang members, offering a novel path that avoids the impeachment process and the need for two-thirds support in the U.S. Senate.

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., filed a resolution that would remove U.S. District Judge James Boasberg for “failing to maintain the standard of good behavior required of judges” under Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution.

You can read the resolution below:

“Most Americans believe that there is lifetime tenure for a federal judge. That unless impeached, a federal judge can serve until death,” Biggs told Just the News. “But lifetime tenure is not guaranteed, nor mentioned, in the Constitution. Article III, Section 1 permits a federal judge to serve only ‘during good behavior.’”

Biggs argued the clause gives Congress the authority to remove judges that it believes have failed to uphold that standard short of using impeachment.

The article also notes:

Biggs said he believes many of these judges have overstepped their authority and reached outside their narrow judicial districts, and that Congress should take the reigns, invoking the Constitutional provision, to fire ones that make politically biased decisions that fall short of grounds for impeachment.

“[W]hat about a judge who has a conflict of interest and refuses to recuse himself from the case with which he has a conflict? Or, what if he has repeatedly supported publicly a political figure and vigorously denounced, not just on policy grounds, but on more virulent grounds, his political opponent?” Biggs asked.

It has been reported that Boasberg’s daughter Katharine defends MS-13 and TDA gangsters, receiving pay from an NGO, Partners in Justice, which raked in $3.3 million in 2023 year from the federal government.  That should disqualify him from the deportation case, but the question is bigger than that.

Does the President run the country or do the judges run the country? The President is elected by the people. Shouldn’t he be in charge?

The Past Actions Of Judge James Boasberg

History predicts the future. When you look at some of the cases that Judge Boasberg has been involved with in the past and his decisions, the fact that he is doing everything he can to prevent President Trump from carrying out his campaign promises should not be a surprise.

In an article posted at director blue’s substack account on Thursday, Doug Ross reminds us of the judge’s history:

If I had gone judge shopping for someone to oppose President Trump’s policies, this would have been a judge I seriously considered. His track record is not one of rulings that represent equal justice under the law.

The article concludes:

It is time that:

(a) President Trump strips Boasberg of his security clearances for his FISA abuse failures;

(b) Congress compels his testimony regarding his conflicts of interest, his longstanding political activism, and years of failing to adhere to the Code of Conduct for United States Judges.

Congress should impeach him, but with a divided Congress, that is unlikely.

Let’s See Some Action To Go With The Hearings

The Republicans in Congress are really good at holding hearings. Look at all the hearings they held investigating the Biden family and other corruption. Also look at the fact that none of these hearings have resulted in anyone being charged with anything or held accountable in any way. Well, they are holding hearings again. Let’s see what happens.

On Friday, The Daily Signal reported:

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said he would be holding hearings as early as next week on recent judicial rulings against actions undertaken by the Trump administration.

The announcement comes as several members of Congress are filing articles of impeachment against the federal judges who have stepped in to prevent Trump administration policies from taking effect.

Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., announced last month that he will be filing articles of impeachment against Chief District Judge John McConnell Jr. for the District of Rhode Island. McConnell has blocked an Office of Management and Budget order that would have frozen all federal grant, loan, and financial assistance programs

Since when does the judiciary control the executive branch. This needs to go to the Supreme Court (even though I don’t trust the Supreme Court).

The article notes:

Boasberg (Chief District Judge James Boasberg for the District of Columbia) ruled that the Trump administration had to return Venezuelan migrants that had been deported. Gill contended in a press statement that Boasberg, who was appointed in 2011 by Democrat President Barack Obama, is seeking to prevent the president from enforcing the Alien Enemies Act.

“Judge Boasberg has gravely overstepped his authority, usurping the constitutional power of the commander in chief. President Trump is securing America’s neighborhoods; restoring safety for men, women, and children who call this nation home. We will not tolerate radical, politically motivated judges illegally and unconstitutionally stopping the president from carrying out his mandate,” Gill said in a press statement.

Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., told The Daily Signal that the judiciary was not responsible for making public policy.

“The judicial branch is not the [human resources] department of the federal government, nor does it set national or foreign policy. It solely interprets the law, and certainly should never engage in judicial insurrection,” Perry said.

This is ridiculous.
