What Are We Teaching Our Children?

On Thursday, The Daily Caller posted an article about a father who protested his son’s being taken out of school to attend an anti-ICE rally.

The article reports:

A father who posted a video of himself pulling his son out of a “walkout” protesting operations by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tore into the Highline School Board in Washington state on Wednesday.

Hundreds of students in the Seattle-area school district took part in the Feb. 2 walkout, some of whose parents backed the protest, according to the Seattle Times. Vance Glawe, who drove to the protest to pull his son, a seventh-grade student at Cascade Middle School, out of the event, confronted members of the school board with fiery remarks during his two-minute address.

“My name is Vance Glawe and on the afternoon of February 2, 2026, my 14 year old child called me. He was not at school. He was not sick. He was in the middle of White Center, Washington, in the middle of a protest that was organized for his middle school,” Glawe told the members of the board during their Wednesday meeting in video that went viral when it was posted on X by LibsofTikTok.

The article concludes:

Glawe also set up a GiveSendGo fundraiser for legal expenses and to relocate, saying his son was receiving threats for his videos.

“I’m going to need some help with legal fees and relocation since I am now receiving death threats and I don’t feel my son is safe in this area anymore,” Glawe said on the page. Glawe added in a Feb. 4 update, “I cannot bring my son back to school because kids are threatening to jump my son because of my video.”

I have been told that some schools are having parents sign a blanket permission slip at the beginning of the year that allows the school to take the children on field trips. In the age of dinosaurs when I was in school, a field trip meant going to a museum, a zoo, a planetarium, etc. I guess it has a whole different meaning now. If you are a parent, don’t sign that slip–ask for individual slips for each trip!

The Chats Tell The Story

On Monday, Townhall posted an article about some Signal Chats among the people causing the disruptions in Minneapolis. There are a lot of angles to this story, so please follow the link and read the entire article.

The article reports:

They got exposed, but that doesn’t mean they’ve gone away or stopped. They’re a roach infestation. These leftists in Minneapolis, causing mayhem for our law enforcement, had their secret Anti-ICE chat on Signal exposed, but new ones have been established, and the older ones nuked from existence. 

…Still, the chats revealed a coordinated system from which these psychopaths could engage in targeted harassment and assault of federal law enforcement. Reporter Cam Higby dropped this nuke over the weekend, and now they’re scattering. Some said they’re fleeing the country and going to Cuba, which was amusing:

Here are some of the contents from the initial story Higby dropped over the weekend. RedState broke down the mayhem even further, diving into the funding and who was on it. We know that ‘Flan,’ the alleged codename for Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, was part of this chat, along with Alex Pretti, the latest leftist shot and killed by immigration officers, which led to the second wave of lefty mayhem in the city. Pretti was carrying a firearm, though he didn’t have his proper ID with him*, at this protest, but things went awry, and he was killed. Again, interfering with federal law enforcement operations will lead to dire consequences for the agitator. The Left claims this was another execution. The bodycams from the Border Patrol agents involved are being analyzed.

This is not a grassroots operation. This is politicians caught with their hands in the cookie jar trying to distract from their crimes.

Please Use Common Sense When Protesting

On September 29th, The New York Post posted an article about an anti-ICE protester in Massachusetts who was so wrapped up in what she was doing, she forgot a really basic item.

The article reports:

An anti-ICE protester in Massachusetts forgot to put her car in park while yelling at agents making an arrest of an illegal alien and her car rolled into a lake and sank, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement source tells Fox News.

It happened in Upton, Massachusetts, a small town in Worcester County, roughly 40 miles west of Boston.

Video and a photo, provided to Fox News by an ICE source, captured the incident.

In the clip, a voice can be heard saying, “Well that sucks. Look at that, Lucy. Her car got lost,” as the woman’s car drifts farther into the water.
