Life Is Hard When You Don’t Have Any More Influence To Sell

On Saturday, Townhall posted an article about a recent podcast interview of Hunter Biden. I need to say up front that I wish Hunter Biden a successful trip to drug rehab and honest employment afterward. May he have a successful, clean, sober, and honest life. I am not willing to make a wager on the possibility of that happening, but it is my wish for him.

The article’s opening paragraph says it all:

Hunter Biden needs to go away. He won’t, but give it a rest, man. You and your family are done in professional politics. You are sure as hell aren’t going to be elected to anything. Your dad drools in his soup. And your laptop is what opened Pandora’s box into your family’s alleged government access shenanigans. It was the roadmap. Then, daddy started to fall apart—and his own party booted him off the ticket because he was going to get slaughtered by Donald Trump in 2024.

The sad part of the interview is that Hunter Biden in no way is taking responsibility for his past (or present) actions.

The article reports:

During his sit-down on the Wide Awake Podcast, Hunter went off on Miranda Devine, one of the reporters at The New York Post, who reported on the Biden crime family. The other, at the time, was Emma-Jo Morris. He also whined about The Daily Mail, said they were “whores,” which is ironic given that he goes through escorts like senior citizens at an Old Country Buffet. We know about the Chateau Marmont, Hunter, and what you did with those M&Ms.

I don’t know what is worse–his continual quest to be in the spotlight or the fact that some of the media is putting him in the spotlight. The Bidens need to be encouraged to and allowed to ride off into the sunset.

Remember When Children Were Allowed To Be Innocent?

On Monday, The Daily Wire posted an article about a child between the ages of 3 and 4 being suspended from nursery school for being “transphobic.”

The article notes:

“Department for Education (DfE) data show the child, aged either three or four, was suspended from a state school in the 2022-23 academic year for ‘abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity,’” The Telegraph reported.

…“Worse still, this is not an isolated case,” she continued. “Apparently, 13 four and five-year-olds were suspended or permanently excluded from school for the same reason. Teachers and school leaders involved in this insanity should be ashamed of themselves for projecting adult concepts and beliefs onto such young children. It’s unforgivable for children’s vital early education to be so traumatically disrupted by school leaders who prioritize activists’ demands over their charges’ wellbeing.”

Although the article does not cite the specifics of the incident, it notes:

“In 2022, a Church of England school in the Isle of Wight warned a six-year-old boy’s parents that he might be deemed ‘transphobic’ if he were to question another pupil wearing a dress,” The Daily Mail pointed out.

I can easily picture a three-year-old boy walking up to another three-year-old boy and asking him why he is wearing a dress. That is not transphobic–that is a normal childhood question from a child that is probably too young to have the proper social graces.

The U.S. Senate Does Not Want Patriots Or Critical Thinkers!

Recently a news story broke about Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake being asked to step down from politics for two years. She was pretty much offered anything she wanted. She recorded the conversation, fearing it would be a threat, and has recently released the tape.

On Wednesday, The Hill reported:

The chair of the Arizona Republican Party announced he will resign Wednesday after leaked audio appeared to show him attempting to pay Senate candidate Kari Lake not to run for office in 2024.

Jeff DeWit said that the audio was “selectively edited.” He explained, however, that he chose to resign because he was threatened by members of Lake’s team that more tapes would be released if he did not step down. Lake’s campaign has denied the allegation.

Lake publicly demanded DeWit resign over the audio Tuesday, calling him “corrupt” and “compromised.”

The audio recording was first reported by The Daily Mail.

“There are very powerful people who want to keep you out,” DeWit reportedly told the Senate hopeful in the recording, saying only that these figures were from the “east.”

I do not doubt that the tape is real and unedited. I also suspect that any well-informed American can make an educated guess as to who the person who put Mr. DeWitt up to this. Unfortunately this is where we are. The deep state uni-party in Washington is trying to protect their turf. President Trump is a threat, but a Congress that supports him would make him an even bigger threat to the status quo. Many Americans believe that the status quo needs to be gone.

 

Another Example of Fake News

BizPacReview posted an article yesterday citing some erroneous reporting by NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell and CNN’s April Ryan. Both women reported that President Trump did not offer an Air Force plane to President-elect Biden to arrive in D.C. for his inauguration. That is simply not true.

The article reports:

’Donnell tweeted: “Arriving on a private charter aircraft with a generic paint job instead of the customary use of an Air Force plane for an incoming president is among the many courtesies not extended to the new president by the departing one.” The tweet is still posted and has not been deleted.

April Ryan took to a similar tactic: “The Bidens have landed at Joint Base Andrew’s and being welcomed! What is striking how Donald Trump is in his feelings. He did not offer a military plane for the Biden’s to fly to DC as traditionally done by the outgoing president!” Again, the tweet is still up and not corrected.

The article notes:

Media outlets such as TMZ and The Daily Mail ran with the fake story and gleefully pointed out how petty Trump is. Except he’s not.

TMZ reports: “Donald Trump’s pettiness apparently knows no bounds because Joe Biden isn’t getting what Trump himself got … a government aircraft taking him to D.C. for his inauguration.”

The Daily Mail jumped in too and even their title was cringeworthy: “How petty can you get? Biden and family arrive in DC on a charter plane after Trump REFUSES them government jet – as Joe cries during a heartrending speech about son Beau.”

…“A White House official, meanwhile, said the Biden team did not ask for a government plane to bring Biden to DC. The official said the administration explained to the Biden team what the options were. But aides to Biden explained they preferred to fly on private aircraft, the official added.”

Once again, reporting fake news and using unnamed sources is considered journalism.

Celebrities such as Tim Matheson chimed in spreading the fake news even further after buying into the false narrative from April Ryan: “Low class from start to finish. Jealousy and deceit plus those little hands.”

It’s a pretty safe bet that we will never have unity in America as long as the media tells lies about people who don’t agree with their political philosophy.
