Last night I had the privilege of hearing E J Kimball speak at the Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton, Massachusetts. He gave a brief primer on the Muslim Brotherhood, its goals in the United States and worldwide and what the Brotherhood is doing to meet those goals. It was not comforting information, but there was plenty of food for thought and ideas on what to do to protect our nation.
E J Kimball is the President of the Strategic Engagement Group (SEG), a 501(c) which was established in 2010.
The SEG defines its mission as:
established in 2010 for the purpose of exposing and defeating efforts to subvert the United States Constitution and subjugate the American People. We fulfill this mission by providing federal, state, and local authorities with timely and specific strategic and operational threat assessments which enable them to make decisions directly affecting the safety and security of American citizens.
Last night many of us heard for the first time some of the details on the Muslim Brotherhood’s involvement in the Arab Spring before the protests in Egypt began. There is no way I can actually summarize the information given. However, I discovered their website is an amazing source of information.
There is a one page summary of the nature of the Islamist threat America faces on the SEG website. One of the things that is pointed out is that we are engaged in an information war. Over the past three decades or so, members of the Muslim Brotherhood have attained positions in our government that limit the amount and scope of information available to those who protect us. Two examples of that were shown last night–the first, the changes made to the report of the 9/11 Commission since it was issued—those changes eliminated such words as Islamist extremists, Muslim terrorism, Al Qaeda, etc. The second, the Fort Hood report is also an example of scrubbing information and references to Muslim extremism.
One striking example of the government’s intentional blindness to the danger facing America was shown in a YouTube Video of Rep. Dan Lungren (R.-Calif.) asking Paul Stockton, assistant defense secretary for homeland defense, about the threat of Muslim extremists. The video would be funny if it were not so serious.
The SEG website is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about the Muslim Brotherhood and their goals for the United States. The bottom line here is simple–the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda have the same goal–a worldwide caliphate under Sharia Law. The two organizations differ only in how to achieve that goal–Al Qaeda believes violence and terrorism is the way to accomplish the goal and the Muslim Brotherhood wants to achieve the goal through subversion and turning the freedom of Americans against America. Either way, America loses if they are successful.
I strongly suggest you visit the website and learn what our government and most news sources are not telling us. It is not comforting information, but we need to be informed to protect ourselves. The SEG website is one way to stay informed.
