A local group in eastern North Carolina is on a mission to make sure that those lost during the Afghanistan withdrawal and those still trapped in the country are not forgotten. The group is called American Lives Matter and is selling the lapel pins below:

The black ribbon represents grief or mourning for the fallen and abandoned during Biden’s Afghan departure.

The Flag lapel pin represents American lives and values.

Wearing the American Lives Matter Ribbon every day is your daily protest since we can’t be in the streets every day.

The group is planning a rally/demonstration/protest in Raleigh next October. The money raised through the sale of the ribbons will be used to pay the expenses of the rally/demonstration/protest in Raleigh.
