An Earned Defeat

The Republicans lost badly last night. They controlled the presidency and both houses of Congress. It’s normal for the party out of power to win the mid-term elections; however, this was an impressive victory for the Democrats. Pamela Geller posted an article on her website today that I believe sums up the situation. The title of the article is “Republicans Get Routed After Betraying Their Mandate.” That’s about it.

The article reports:

The Republican Congress spent years asking voters for power. Voters gave it to them, and they spent two years showing us how little they could do with it. Now comes the rush to blame Iran, which for some is a fancy way of blaming the Jews. Spare me. Republicans had the White House and both chambers of Congress, a historic opening to turn their promises into law. They squandered it. Every Republican looking for a scapegoat this morning should be made to answer one question: What did you do with the power we gave you?

The Republicans did give us serious tax cuts, and President Trump gave us secure borders and energy independence. I believe those things are now in jeopardy. That is not a good thing. Did the people voting for the first Muslim to be elected to the Senate understand what that person stands for? Do they understand the conflict between the U.S. Constitution that he is going to swear allegiance to and his commitment to Sharia Law? Do they understand the concept of civilization jihad? If you are unfamiliar with that concept, please look it up. Do they understand that if the Democrats end energy independence, gas prices will increase and stay high? Do they understand that the tax cuts in the Big Beautiful Bill are now in danger?

The establishment Republicans worked with the Democrats to block President Trump’s agenda. They even blocked the SAVE act which over 60 percent of Americans supported. Now the country will pay for their pettiness for at least the next two years and possibly until 2032 as we continue on the path to socialism. It will be very difficult to elect a Republican President in 2028 with the Democrats in control of Congress.
