According to WCBS-TV, Hillary Clinton’s honeymoon period as Secretary of State has ended with the New York voters.  Senator Clinton is complaining about Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians in Gaza.  (What about the rockets coming into Israel from Gaza every day?  Is anyone complaining about those?)  The New York voters who supported her in her Senate race and as Secretary of State are very unhappy about her statements.  According to the article, one statement was:

“Hillary had Mrs. Arafat here and she invited Mrs. Arafat for lunch when she was the first lady,” added Babak Chafe of Great Neck. “She is pro-Palestinian 100 percent, really. Of course, we always knew it.”

“The easy way to make a peace agreement is to pressure Israel because you can’t pressure the Arabs,” said Solomon Loewi of Monsey, N.Y.

The easy way to peace may be to put more pressure on Israel and not on the Arabs, but that will not work long term.  Most of the Arabs have stated openly that their goal is the elimination of the country of Israel.  That will not make for a successful two-state solution.  Supporting the Arabs in their (unstated) goal to eliminate Israel is similar to supporting organized crime in its fight against the FBI.  You may get short term results (your neighborhood may look safe), but eventually your decision is going to come back and bite you.
