According to Snopes.com, a rumor checking website, there is a bogus email going around that says that President Obama is going to have the military pledge directly to him–not to uphold the Constitution.  The story is not true.  The email is based on a bit of political satire from a blog called Jumping In Pools.  Evidently someone did not realize it was satire and began pushing the panic button.  I guess the thing about this whole dustup that worries me is that we know so little about Barack Obama that some people were willing to believe the story..
