West, a retired Army officer who did combat duty in Iraq, was responding to a Marine who asked the question, how do you answer people who say that terrorists are following a “warped” version of Islam?  Please follow the link and listen to his comments.  His answer is particularly relevant in view of what is currently happening in Egypt.
