A Liberal Supermajority?

The Wall Street Journal has an article on its opinion page today detailing what a Democrat supermajority would mean to this county if Barack Obama wins the Presidency and Democrats elect a supermajority to Congress.  Keep in mind that it takes 60 votes to pass anything (or confirm a judge) in the Senate.  This article lists some of the legislation that the Senate has blocked in the 110th Congress.  These things will not be blocked if the Democrats have sixty senators.  Keep in mind that card check will end the secret ballot in union elections, pouring money into Democrat coffers, and making it very difficult for a shop to remain non-union if it chooses to.  Think also, based on his associations, about the kind of people Barack Obama would appoint to the courts and the Senate would confirm.
