{"id":739,"date":"2009-04-18T12:41:34","date_gmt":"2009-04-18T12:41:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=739"},"modified":"2009-04-18T12:41:34","modified_gmt":"2009-04-18T12:41:34","slug":"houston_we_have_a_problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=739","title":{"rendered":"Houston, We Have A Problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ed Morrissey at <a href=\"http:\/\/hotair.com\/archives\/2009\/04\/18\/nato-forces-let-captured-pirates-go\/\">Hot Air<\/a>&nbsp;has posted an article about NATO freeing&nbsp;20 hostages from pirates in the Gulf of Yemen and capturing seven pirates in the process.&nbsp; This happened today according to the source article at <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/nm\/20090418\/ts_nm\/us_somalia_piracy\">Yahoo News<\/a>.&nbsp; Sounds good, right?&nbsp; Well, not so fast.&nbsp; The article points out:<\/p>\n<blockquote dir=\"ltr\" style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\">\n<p><em>&#8220;The commandos briefly detained and questioned the seven gunmen, he told Reuters, but had no legal power to arrest them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;NATO does not have a detainment policy.
