The national organization Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) has responded to accusations that it is promoting Islam.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cGirl Scouts is proudly for every girl. Any other faith-based patches are developed by independent faith organizations, not GSUSA, and participation in these programs is always optional.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The statement comes following a report<\/a> by White House reporter Natalie Winters.
