Legal immigration is a good thing when the people coming here want to become part of America and contribute to the growth of America. Coming here to import the customs of the place you left is not a good idea. Immigrants need to respect their heritage but understand that some aspects of that heritage may not be appropriate in America.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, The New York Post<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n A Dunkin\u2019 employee was filmed washing his feet at a kitchen sink at the chain\u2019s location aboard a Staten Island Ferry \u2014 prompting a city Health Department investigation, The Post has learned.<\/strong><\/p>\n An eyewitness spotted the employee lifting his tootsies and using sink water to wash his feet behind the counter and immediately began filming the stomach-churning scene, calling it \u201cdisgusting.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The footage \u2014 posted to TikTok<\/a> Aug. 11 before it quickly spread across other social media platforms \u2014 shows the worker standing in front of the sink on what appears to be an Islamic prayer rug as he suds up his feet.<\/strong><\/p>\n …The man appears to have been practicing wudu, the Islamic ritual of ablution<\/a> performed before prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n It involves washing specific parts of the body \u2014 including the hands, face, arms and feet \u2014 in a prescribed sequence as an act of purification.<\/strong><\/p>\n Muslims commonly perform <\/a>wudu before the five daily prayers, known as salah, and it can also be performed before other religious activities, including handling or reading the Quran.<\/strong><\/p>\n The article concludes:<\/p>\n \u201cReligion or not, washing your feet a few inches away from the food area is wild.
