The eight pilots made the pass during the <a title=\"Today's Aviation Day Celebration Might Be the Most Patriotic Event of the Century\" href=\"https:\/\/townhall.com\/tipsheet\/josephchalfant\/2026\/07\/03\/tomorrows-salute-to-america-celebration-might-be-the-most-patriotic-event-of-the-century-n2678795\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salute from the Shore Airshow<\/a>, celebrating Independence Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Secretary of War Pete Hegseth caught wind of the disciplinary action and vowed to fix the issue.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Sean Parnell, Assistant to the Secretary of War, posted an update this morning, writing, &#8220;Effective immediately, the suspension of all involved South Carolina pilots has been lifted. Carry on, Patriots.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lifting the suspension implies that it is okay to be a patriot. I am sure the people on the beach loved the flyover.<\/p>\n<p>The article includes videos of the people on the beach cheering on the pilots. Americans have the right to be patriotic.
