Harry Reid\u2019s (D-NV) \u201cexact bill\u201d that would not only eliminate birthright citizenship for the children of illegal migrants, but also clarify who can receive birthright citizenship.<\/strong><\/p>\n In a post on X, Moreno responded<\/a> to another post from Fox News\u2019s Bill Melugin, who shared that in 1993, Reid had introduced the Immigration Stabilization Act of 1993. Moreno stated that they would \u201csee how today\u2019s DC Democrats will vote when offered the ideas of the Democrat party that used to love\u201d the U.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI will reintroduce this exact bill when I return to DC,\u201d Moreno said. \u201cLet\u2019s see how today\u2019s DC Democrats will vote when offered the ideas of the Democrat party that used to love this country and the American people!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n It’s interesting that the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress in 1993 and Bill Clinton was President. According to Congress.gov, on 08\/16\/1993, the bill was referred to Subcommittee on Immigration and Refugee Affairs. It died in committee.
