On June 18th, The New York Post<\/a> posted an article about the alleged ringleader in the planned attack on the White House during President Trump’s birthday celebration.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

The alleged \u201cringleader\u201d of the explosive drone attack plot against the UFC event<\/a> at the White House is an illegal immigrant from Mexico,\u00a0the Department of Homeland Security said Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abraham Alvarez, 31, came to the US as a child and failed to leave the country when his B2 visa expired in 2001, but was granted deportation relief under the Obama administration through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alvarez was one of five alleged co-conspirators<\/a> in the scheme to kill President Trump and other top government officials at the combat sports spectacle held late Sunday on the White House South Lawn attended by thousands of fight fans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The plotters allegedly wanted to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event with explosive-laden drones and then pick off fleeing members of the crowd with a team of snipers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Authorities told the outlet Alvarez was responsible for planning, organizing and directing the coordinated attack, which was thwarted by the FBI and local authorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThis illegal alien from Mexico should never have been allowed in our country,\u201d DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement to Fox News Digital. \u201cHe was the ringleader of a failed terror attack targeting UFC Freedom 250 at the White House.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHe will face justice and swiftly be removed from our country,\u201d she added of Alvarez.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s hope that if this man is convicted when he eventually stands trial, he is deported. Let’s hope that at that time (which could be years from now) we have a President who is enforcing the border so that this alleged plotter cannot sneak back into the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
