President Trump is running out of patience with the Iranians in the peace negotiations.\u00a0 It has become obvious that the Iranians really don’t want to negotiate–they just want to hold out until the midterm elections hoping that by that time the war will no longer have the support of the American voters.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, The New York Post<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n President Trump said he is readying new strikes on Iranian infrastructure \u2014 after warning that the Islamic Republic will \u201chave to pay the price\u201d for taking \u201ctoo long\u201d to negotiate a peace deal<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The commander-in-chief said he is \u201cgetting close to ordering new strikes against Iranian power plants and bridges\u201d\u00a0in a phone call with Fox News\u2019 chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Trump also accused Iran in the phone call of \u201ctapping the United States along when it comes to the negotiating process.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The current cease-fire has not been two impressive–everyone has continued their drone strikes, only somewhat less frequently.<\/p>\n The article notes:<\/p>\n It came as the president took to Truth Social to warn of retaliatory strikes against Iran following the shooting down of a US Apache helicopter<\/a> on Monday near the Strait of Hormuz.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!!!\u201d Trump wrote in a thunderous post<\/a> Wednesday morning, after stating that the country\u2019s military infrastructure and leadership were in disarray.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIran\u2019s Military is a complete and total mess. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn\u2019t even exist anymore \u2013 They have been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!! \u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n It really is time to end Iran’s funding of terror in the Middle East.
