{"id":62713,"date":"2026-02-04T13:26:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T18:26:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=62713"},"modified":"2026-02-04T13:26:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T18:26:11","slug":"the-real-cost-of-illegal-immigration-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=62713","title":{"rendered":"The Real Cost Of Illegal Immigration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The people getting upset over <span class=\"fc-falcon\">U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement\u2019s (<b>ICE<\/b><\/span>) enforcing the law have chosen to overlook what happens when ICE does not enforce the law.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2026\/02\/02\/tennessee-releases-staggering-stats-migrant-crime\/?fbclid=IwY2xjawPvJ7tleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeLCkk_GT2xfj58JLhGQSo6u8jwexrlykzN9dGJNTmYNbkFh7Vu-Q9TsoRGck_aem_QlSfGN3PvCtubYNI9hBi4g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breitbart<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n<p class=\"subheading\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The office of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference has released its annual state immigration report revealing that in 2025, illegal migrants committed 2,183 violent offenses, including 41 homicides, 145 sexual offenses, 11 child rapes, and more.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Republican State Rep. Dan Howell said he was shocked by the report and <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chattanoogan.com\/2026\/1\/31\/514154\/Rep.-Howell-Says-Report-On-Crime-In.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener external\">called<\/a> the data \u201creally, really bad.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cThese are the criminals liberals want to defend while trying to defund ICE,\u201d he pointed out.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cForty-one Tennesseeans are <em>dead<\/em> at the hands of illegal immigrants and hundreds raped. This will not be tolerated in this great state and we <em>will<\/em> do more to keep you safe,\u201d Howell added. (emphasis original)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The \u201c<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tndagc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2025-PC998-Immigration-Report-Final-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener external\">2025 Immigration Report<\/a>\u201d released on January 30 is a required (<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/law.justia.com\/codes\/tennessee\/title-4\/chapter-1\/part-4\/section-4-1-425\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener external\">TN Code \u00a7 4-1-425 2024<\/a>) annual report from the state\u2019s district attorneys general conference. The law directs them to \u201ccollect and analyze data from law enforcement agencies on the number of persons not lawfully present in the United States charged or convicted of a criminal offense in this state during the previous year.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article notes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The categories of crimes revealed a shocking toll suffered by the state\u2019s citizens at the hands of illegal migrants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Among the categories of crime, the report includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2,183 violent offenses<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>41 homicides<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1,592 assaults<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>145 sexual offenses<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>11 child rapes<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>40 aggravated kidnappings<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2,920 DUIs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>5,318 cases of driving without a license or on suspended\/or revoked<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>966 Carjackings<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>36 Felony firearms offenses<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>66 Assaults on police or first responders<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The \u201c2025 Immigration Report\u201d is now the second such report in compliance with the state law. The 2024 report, the first of its kind, <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/nashvillebanner.com\/2025\/02\/06\/tennessee-immigrant-crime-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener external\">collected<\/a> data from only 73 of the state\u2019s 95 counties and found that 2,719 non-citizens had been charged with crimes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are these the people you want to keep in our country? Are the people protesting ICE willing to have these people living in their neighborhoods?
