Speaking in a recent exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Mosab Hassan Yousef \u2014 the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, who later broke with the terror group and worked covertly with Israeli intelligence as \u201cThe Green Prince\u201d \u2014 delivered a sweeping warning to Western progressives as global sympathy for the Palestinian cause reaches historic highs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The former Hamas insider\u2019s warning comes as Israel marks two linked anniversaries: 78 years since the U.N. Partition Plan on November 29, 1947 \u2014 when the Arab world rejected<\/a> a Jewish state and launched a war \u2014 and its November 30 national day commemorating<\/a> the departure and expulsion of nearly 900,000 Jews from Arab and Muslim countries and Iran, after Arab regimes turned on their Jewish populations in the wake of the U.N. vote and Israel\u2019s creation and stripped them of citizenship, property, and basic rights.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe world forgets history,\u201d Yousef said. \u201cBut history is repeating itself \u2014 and this time the liberal West is helping it happen.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThis Is Their Strategy \u2014 Sacrificing Children to Cry Genocide.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Drawing on his upbringing inside Hamas\u2019s inner circle, Yousef said the terror group\u2019s approach on October 7 \u2014 and throughout what he called \u201c77 years of Palestinian violence\u201d \u2014 was never about land, borders, or \u201coccupation,\u201d but about producing maximum civilian suffering for political gain and Western consumption.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is their strategy,\u201d he warned. \u201cPut children in harm\u2019s way, weaponize civilians, endanger both sides, and use the blood to ignite endless war.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hamas, he stressed, knows it cannot defeat Israel on the battlefield.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThey know they cannot win a conventional war,\u201d Yousef said. \u201cSo they try to defeat Israel in the court of liberal Western opinion \u2014 by creating as many civilian casualties as possible and then screaming \u2018genocide.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was his comment about Palestinians:<\/p>\n

The former Hamas operative reserved some of his sharpest criticism for what he called the \u201cmanufactured Palestinian identity,\u201d insisting it was invented for political utility and continues to fuel violence that Western progressives now excuse.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no such thing as Palestinian,\u201d he said. \u201cThere is no such thing as Palestine. These are terms borrowed from the Romans \u2014 from conquerors. At most, what they call \u2018Palestinians\u2019 are Arabs, and Israel already has two million Arab citizens.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

He described the Palestinian national narrative as \u201ca mask,\u201d constructed to justify rejecting peace, rejecting coexistence, and ultimately rejecting Israel\u2019s right to exist \u2014 even as the same narrative is now chanted on American campuses.<\/strong><\/p>\n
