On Sunday, The American Thinker<\/a> posted an article about America’s destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

Something called the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons has won a Nobel Peace Prize for its opposition to the existence of nuclear weapons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its slogan is, \u201cWe must eliminate nuclear weapons before they eliminate us.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Good plan. So, ICAN (what happened to the \u2018W?\u2019) must have applauded the Trump administration\u2019s recent beatdown of Iran\u2019s nuclear weapons program, right?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I mean, the U.S. used non-nuclear bombs to (hopefully) prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, at least for a while.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nope. ICAN<\/a> denied that Iran was developing nuclear weapons and blamed America for refusing to give up its nuclear weapons. Much as it also condemned Israel for striking Iran\u2019s nuclear-development facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Americans would be speaking Russian and\/or Chinese now if we had surrendered\/destroyed our nuclear weapons, and Israel might not exist.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not to be outdone, the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW?), which helped found ICAN, also condemned Israel <\/em>and urged it to create \u201ca Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The article concludes:<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s nuclear weapons program was dealt a significant setback at the very least. And the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons is too upset to admit it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It seems clear that the International Campaign to Abolish Reason and Sanity has been successful.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What would happen if the Middle East were free of nuclear weapons? Does anyone actually believe that Israel would exist if it were not assumed that it has nuclear weapons? I don’t think Israel has ever officially admitted that it has nuclear weapons. It doesn’t have to–just the idea that it might has been enough to provide some degree of safety for the country.
