Secretary of State Marco Rubio <\/a><\/span>announced the official end of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) on Tuesday, after rapidly dismantling the government\u2019s foreign aid arm since President Trump\u2019s return to the White House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

USAID\u2019s official shutdown comes following a study published Monday in the\u00a0Lancet Medical journal<\/a>\u00a0projecting that more than 14 million additional deaths could occur globally as a result of the U.S. aid reductions, including 4.5 million deaths among children.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wow! Millions of deaths could result around the world if America stops funding one supposedly non-governmental agency. How is it a non-governmental agency if the government is funding it? I didn’t realize our government was so powerful.<\/p>\n
