It comes after\u00a0a week\u2019s worth of events celebrating LGBTQ+ rights ahead of the World Pride festival in Washington, D.C. were canceled<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Center held two showings of the film on June 1 as part of its effort to revamp its family-focused programming to include more faith-based content. Both shows were a \u201chuge success\u201d and the event\u2019s prayer wall was \u201ccompletely full,\u201d a spokesperson for The Kennedy Center told Breitbart News.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBoth shows completely SOLD OUT, proving what Kennedy Center President Ambassador Richard Grenell has been saying all along \u2014 the American people want to see more family-friendly programming,\u201d the spokesperson said.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
