{"id":58708,"date":"2025-03-12T06:39:50","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T10:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=58708"},"modified":"2025-03-12T06:39:50","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T10:39:50","slug":"where-did-the-money-actually-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=58708","title":{"rendered":"Where Did The Money Actually Go?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/doge-says-it-found-312-million-in-loans-that-were-given-to-children-during-pandemic-5822546?utm_source=morningbriefnoe&amp;src_src=morningbriefnoe&amp;utm_campaign=mb-2025-03-10&amp;src_cmp=mb-2025-03-10&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;est=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAc%2BssfQcbwM%2FP66EPsGtAK7hz3UZAJCYDrG1FXhv9dXBGBhrhp5UMQA%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Epoch Times<\/a> reported that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has uncovered 5,593 loans made by the Small Business Administration (SBA) worth $312 million given to borrowers age 11 or under at the time of the loan.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cWhile it is possible to have business arrangements where this is legal, that is highly unlikely for these 5,593 loans, as they all also used [a Social Security number] with the incorrect name,\u201d the post reads.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>DOGE and the SBA are now working to investigate the matter, according to the post. The Epoch Times contacted the SBA for comment on March 9 but did not receive a response by publication time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Also on March 8, DOGE wrote in a separate post that it found that the SBA issued 3,095 loans for $333 million to borrowers whose age was listed at more than 115 years old. Those borrowers, it <a class=\"article-hover-class\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DOGE\/status\/1897039724822315489\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a>, were listed as alive in the Social Security database, and in one instance, a person recorded as being 157 years old received loans worth $36,000, including under the Paycheck Protection Program and as an Economic Injury Disaster Loan.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Also on March 8, DOGE stated that a Department of Agriculture contract worth $10.3 million that was for \u201cidentifying unnecessary contracts\u201d had been canceled, noting that it was one of 162 nonessential contracts that had been terminated.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am happy that DOGE has found the questionable loans.
