Amsterdam last week experienced the consequences of allowing large numbers of immigrants who do not share your values into your country.<\/p>\n
On Friday, The New York Post<\/a> posted an article detailing the events in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n The article reports:<\/p>\n Israeli soccer fans targeted in the horrific antisemitic attack<\/a> in Amsterdam described Friday how they were chased through the streets along with Jewish women and kids and left with broken teeth and black eyes.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIt was a pogrom. If there had been Internet in \u201938, that\u2019s what Kristallnacht would have looked like,\u201d a shaken victim told the Israeli media outlet Haaretz.<\/strong><\/p>\n An Israel Defense Force officer in town for Thursday night\u2019s soccer game told The Post that his friend was senselessly beaten by a group of 15 thugs till the bloodied pal shouted, \u201cFree Palestine!\u2019\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n Just for the record, ‘Palestine’ was free before they attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. Israel left the Gaza Strip in 2005. That is assuming that there is an actual state of Palestine, which there never has been–most Palestinians are Egyptian or Jordanian. Yasser Arafat was Egyptian.<\/p>\n The article concludes:<\/p>\n But after Maccabi Tel Aviv\u2019s stinging 5-0 loss to the Dutch team Ajax, the man quickly realized that the second night would be \u201cworse than the first night,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI saw a lot of attacks, I saw a lot of people trying to attack but a lot of fans trying to defend themselves,\u201d the Israeli soccer fan said.<\/strong><\/p>\n The assailants would gang up on victims 15 or 20 to 1, he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n The soccer fan said he and his friends decided to form a rescue team and roam the streets in search of any lone Israeli who needed their help.<\/strong><\/p>\n They found a group of four hiding out in a locked restaurant as armed thugs tried to break in and pelted the windows with rocks.<\/strong><\/p>\n He and his buddies scared the group off and escorted the Israelis back to their hotel.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe Amsterdam police didn\u2019t really try to help us,\u201d he said, and claimed that the police inaction was due to a mixture of antisemitism and \u201cfear\u201d of the city\u2019s immigrant Muslim population.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWhen you see the Jews getting attacked and you do nothing and you tell the Jews you need to go where I say until I decide you can leave but you don\u2019t do anything to the Muslims, there is something problematic about it,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cEveryone was telling us that we need to go back to Israel, need to leave Amsterdam and go somewhere else in Europe, but we didn\u2019t do anything.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Israeli photographer Ami Shuman recalled having to walk through the sickening scenes with his son surrounded by a police escort as they tried to return to their hotel unscathed.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWe saw violence, we saw people with black eyes, deep cuts under their eyes,\u201d he told the Times of Israel.<\/strong><\/p>\n Maccabi fan Tomer Taliasn added to the outlet<\/a>, \u201cThey didn\u2019t distinguish between women, child, men or the elderly.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThey attacked everyone they saw as Israeli.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n This is sad. During World War II, there were many Christians\u00a0 in the Netherlands who helped and protected the Jews. Anyone who has read the story of Corrie Ten Boom knows that the people of the Netherlands are wonderful people who would not condone this behavior.
