Who knew Alexa was political?<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Amazon addressed what it called an \u201cerror\u201d Tuesday after some of its Alexa devices promoted 2024 Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris over 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Video of a woman asking Alexa why she should vote for each candidate went viral Tuesday due to the device\u2019s glowing review of Harris versus its neutrality on Trump. Amazon told <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/digital\/news\/alexa-vote-trump-kamala-harris-amazon-error-1236128793\/\">Variety<\/a> that its apparent pro-Harris bias was a mistake that the company quickly corrected.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I-6TCI3p6wg?si=3hTmilrBGJa2fMwy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Daily Caller concludes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Amazon is not the first major company to face <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/07\/29\/washington-post-backlash-misleading-front-page-israeli-airstrikes-lebanon-hezbollah-idf\/\">backlash<\/a> for alleged bias against Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/07\/28\/google-backlash-censorship-trump-assassination-attempt-autocomplete\/\">Google<\/a> came under fire in late July for the alleged censorship of the assassination attempt against Trump from its \u201cautocomplete\u201d search results feature. \u201cThere was no manual action taken on these predictions. Our systems have protections against Autocomplete predictions associated with political violence, which were working as intended prior to this horrific event occurring,\u201d a Google spokesperson told the Caller at the time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The Biden-Harris administration <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/02\/05\/white-house-leaned-amazon-suppress-vaccine-propaganda-emails-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">influenced<\/a> Amazon i n March 2021 to restrict books that expressed skepticism about the COVID-19 vaccine, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Jim_Jordan\/status\/1754637204146581783\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">emails<\/a>\u00a0the House Judiciary Committee obtained show.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted in late August that senior officials under Biden-Harris \u201crepeatedly pressured\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/08\/26\/mark-zuckerberg-admits-biden-harris-admin-pressured-facebook-censor-content\/\">Facebook<\/a> to suppress COVID-19 content that the platform otherwise would not have restricted. Zuckerberg said Biden-Harris officials expressed frustration when Facebook initially hesitated before complying.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vote carefully.
