\u201cThis is an open war, and I\u2019m afraid that we haven\u2019t seen the worst of it yet,\u201d Yousef told Fox News Digital. \u201cAnd let me tell you something: This whole thing is only for one purpose \u2013 to just bring the hostages back, and whenever there is an opportunity to just bring the hostages, I think this is where Israel is compromising.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBut, eventually, this war is not going to stop until Islamists are removed from power, and I\u2019m afraid now that we are coming to realize, without removing ayatollah from power, the Middle East would never experience peace and prosperity,\u201d Yousef said.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iran is a totalitarian state and opposing the government is difficult, but another revolution is not out of the question.<\/p>\n

During his time in prison, Yousef started studying the Bible, and he converted to Christianity in 1999. He then fled to the US in 2007, where he experienced some culture shock due to the \u201cfalse ideologies\u201d that have flooded Western nations, such as \u201cnew age theories\u201d that he finds can be \u201cas dangerous as extreme or terrorist ideologies.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI am not shocked anymore by human delusion,\u201d Yousef said. \u201cYou can say whether if it\u2019s in the West or in the East, it\u2019s the human condition, and time will prove every theory to be actually based according to the universal design, evolution \u2013 even though evolution is a very sensitive term \u2013 or narratives with dead ends.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate the freedom of speech, even though I have been canceled many times by liberals and mainstream media, which is basically \u2013 I don\u2019t want to say it\u2019s shocking, but it\u2019s fascinating to see people who swear by the name of liberty and democracy, but in practice, they are the opposite,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, this is my journey, and it doesn\u2019t matter what people perceive on the outside,\u201d he stressed. \u201cWhat matters to me is what I\u2019m learning, what I am seeing as I evolve and integrate.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
