Vice President Kamala Harris was rated the most liberal senator in 2019 \u2014 further left than even Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) \u2014 according to a GovTrack scorecard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harris, whom President Joe Biden opted to back after announcing that he will not seek reelection after all, was viewed as the most liberal senator prior to her becoming vice president.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to GovTrack, the ideology analysis assigns a score to lawmakers according to their \u201clegislative behavior by whether they sponsor and cosponsor overlapping sets of bills and resolutions with other Members of Congress.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe score can be interpreted as a left\u2013right scale measuring the dominant ideological difference or differences among Members of Congress, although of course it only takes into account a small aspect of reality,\u201d it explains.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a list of all 100 senators in 2019, Harris scored<\/a> #100, winning the title of the most leftist senator. For greater perspective, Sanders came in right behind her at #99. On the flip side, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) scored as the most conservative senator that year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A breakdown of the rating found that Harris joined bipartisan bills \u201cthe least often compared to Senate Democrats,\u201d as just 15 percent of the bills she cosponsored were introduced by a non-Democrat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The breakdown<\/a> also found that Harris \u201cheld\u00a0the\u00a0fewest committee positions\u00a0compared to\u00a0Senate Sophomores\u00a0(tied with 1 other).\u201d She also \u201cwas\u00a03rd\u00a0most absent\u00a0in votes compared to\u00a0All Senators.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

New York Times<\/em> bestselling author Peter Schweizer spoke about the reality of Harris\u2019s political career during a Monday appearance on Breitbart News Daily<\/em>, explaining that she has a history of \u201cvery frightening\u201d activities as a prosecutor that show \u201ccollective favoritism to criminal networks and organizations linked to her political allies.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSo my contention is that Kamala Harris as a prosecutor, she did the same thing as the Attorney General of California: Used her position not to protect the vulnerable but to actually protect the powerful people that put her in political office,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n
