5.\u00a0A whopping\u00a061 percent<\/a>\u00a0of U.S. renters cannot afford the rent on a median-priced apartment in the United States right now.<\/strong><\/p>\n

15.\u00a0Continuing jobless claims just shot up to the highest level\u00a0in almost three years<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

16.\u00a0The number of job openings in the United States has dropped to the lowest level\u00a0in more than 3 years<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

17.\u00a0Rite Aid just announced that it will be closing\u00a027 more stores<\/a>.\u00a0 That is on top of more than 500 stores that it has already decided to shut down.<\/strong><\/p>\n

18.\u00a0Walgreens plans to close\u00a0approximately one-fourth<\/a>\u00a0of its 8,600 U.S. stores.\u00a0 If the economy really was \u201cbooming\u201d, why would they be doing this?<\/strong><\/p>\n

19.\u00a0Today,\u00a020 percent<\/a>\u00a0of the entire population of the state of California is living in poverty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

20.\u00a0According to one recent survey,\u00a046 percent of Americans<\/a>\u00a0don\u2019t even have 500 dollars saved up.<\/strong><\/p>\n
