On Friday, The Federalist<\/a> posted an article about documents\u00a0 obtained by America First Legal (AFL).<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

President Joe Biden\u2019s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) brainstormed about infiltrating local communities to spy on Americans, and suggested being \u201creligious\u201d or \u201cin the military\u201d was an \u201cindicator of extremists and terrorism,\u201d excerpts of documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL) purportedly show.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These excerpts<\/a>, released Thursday by AFL, purport to show how in 2023, the DHS\u2019s newly created \u201cHomeland Intelligence Experts Group\u201d looked for ways to expand their spying<\/a> on American citizens, including by trying to \u201cget into local communities in a non-threatening way\u201d to get fellow Americans to tattle tale on their neighbors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The committee, on which John Brennan and James Clapper \u2014 both notorious for their participation in the Russia-collusion hoax as well as for\u00a0falsely claiming<\/a>\u00a0Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop was Russian disinformation \u2014 sat, also suggested religious Americans, members of the military, and Trump supporters were possible security threats, according to segments of the documents released by AFL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The article notes:<\/p>\n

Not only did the FBI expand its \u201canti-government or anti-authority violent extremists\u201d (AGAAVE) classification to include the \u201cfurtherance of political and\/or social agendas,\u201d but it also created a new terrorism category, \u201cAGAAVE-Other,\u201d in October of 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201c[Y]es, in practical terms, it refers to MAGA, though the carefully constructed language is wholly nonpartisan,\u201d an FBI officer told Newsweek.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The article concludes:<\/p>\n

This is a top-down ideology, exemplified by Biden himself espousing the baseless yet inflammatory claim<\/a> that \u201cMAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

But the real threat is Democrats\u2019 unabashed use of law enforcement agencies to target political dissidents. The FBI, for example, used<\/a> a document from the left-wing extremist group, Southern Poverty Law Center, to target<\/a> Catholics for beliefs like opposing abortion and holding orthodox views on sex. The FBI labeled<\/a> these individuals as \u201cracially or ethnically motivated violent extremists,\u201d as reported by The Daily Signal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As you read this, there are people in our government making plans to limit any free speech opposing their agenda and using government force to silence those who continue to speak. We need to vote very carefully in November. Any politician at any level who opposes free speech or talks about jailing people who disagree with him needs to lose his election by a wide enough margin so that he can’t cheat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
