On Wednesday, The American Thinker<\/a> posted an article about the latest scientific research on global warming. It doesn’t show what it was expected to show.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

A team of \u201chigh-powered NASA scientists\u201d has just stumbled upon a very<\/em> inconvenient truth, and no, I don\u2019t mean that they\u2019ve found new evidence to support the Al Gore fear porn flick, but instead, they\u2019ve discovered that 80% of \u201cglobal warming\u201d in the last ten years has not been caused by man\u2019s use of natural renewable resources like gas and oil, but \u201cdraconian fuel shipping regulations\u201d ostensibly \u201cdesigned to help prevent global warming.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

From a report<\/a> by Chris Morrison at The Daily Sceptic:<\/p>\n

The world of climate science is in shock following extraordinary findings<\/a> from a team of high-powered NASA scientists that suggest most of the recent global temperature increases are due to the introduction of draconian fuel shipping regulations designed to help prevent global warming.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, well, well, the \u201ccure\u201d is worse than the disease\u2026 except there was no disease. Now, I don\u2019t contend that the \u201ccure\u201d is all that bad either, as long as we\u2019re speaking only in the context of the environment; a relatively warm planet (of course, I\u2019m talking within reason here) isn\u2019t a bad thing because it means surviving is easier. But, they<\/em> think it\u2019s bad, which just goes to show you how ill-equipped these climate \u201cscientist\u201d bureaucrats are at deciding on policy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Obviously we need to go back to drilling in America and driving cars with gasoline engines!<\/p>\n

The article concludes:<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s also important to keep in mind that man cannot create atoms. All carbon contained in coal and oil (and wood and anything else which burns) was originally atmospheric CO2 plants split into C and 2 O, using the C for themselves and releasing the Os into the atmosphere. Hence, it\u2019s physically impossible to increase the level of atmospheric CO2 beyond what it was at some point in time in the past where life on this planet already existed.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Can these greens please stop wrecking literally everything? They love to tell us that \u201cthere is no Planet B\u201d and we\u2019re at the precipice of an \u201cexistential\u201d crisis\u2026which is half true. It\u2019s not a looming climate disaster though for the majority of the world, but a financial and political disaster\u2014so for the love of all that is good, please step away from the pen of government policy and bureaucracy.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
