Ahead of a \u201csomber\u201d Passover, Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) called on the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas to \u201csurrender\u201d and send the hostages home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWith a somber Passover approaching,\u201d Fetterman wrote on X, \u201cI remain committed to speaking about this travesty and acknowledge there can\u2019t be true lasting peace until the hostages are home.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe must never forget Hamas owns this entire catastrophe and can end this,\u201d he reminded social media. \u201cSend them all home and surrender.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once the butt of conservative jokes, the outspoken Democrat has, in recent months, broken with his party with several surprising, common-sense\u00a0statements<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As many within his party advocate in favor of the Iranian-backed terrorists, Fetterman has offered his unwavering\u00a0support<\/a>\u00a0to Israel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fetterman addressed followers in front of a wall of posters showing Israelis whom Hamas has kidnapped. He has wallpapered his front office with them and vowed, \u201cThey will stay up until every single person is safely returned home.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

On January 14, 2024, Biden issued a\u00a0statement<\/a>\u00a0marking 100 days of captivity for the hostages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For 100 days, their families have lived in agony, praying for the safe return of their loved ones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd for each of those 100 days, the hostages and their families have been at the forefront of my mind as my national security team and I have worked non-stop to try to secure their freedom.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

As\u00a0BizPac Review<\/a>\u00a0reported on Thursday, \u201cOver 100 hostages have either been freed, released by Hamas, or discovered to be dead in captivity since then, but the status of the remaining roughly 130 hostages \u2014 of which 50 are already believed to be dead \u2014 is virtually unknown to U.S. and Israeli intelligence, officials told NBC.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNot at all,\u201d a former senior Israeli official told NBC when asked if there was a stable estimate as to how many hostages are alive. \u201cNo one reliable has this information. It\u2019s all speculation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
