It has become obvious in recent years that the people we are electing as our ‘representatives’ don’t always represent us. They seem to have their own little power clique that generally ignores the will of the people. This is true in both parties with a few exceptions. Part of the appeal of President Trump is that despite being unbelievably wealthy, he seems to be able to relate to the common man. As he takes over the Republican National Committee and cleans house, hopefully he will fill the Committee with people who represent those of us who have to live under the rules put in place by our government.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, American Greatness<\/a> reported the following:<\/p>\n Sixty (former) Republican National Committee (RNC) staffers received their walking papers this week, just days after new pro-Trump leadership took over at the committee.<\/strong><\/p>\n The RNC\u00a0voted on March 8<\/a>\u00a0to replace Ronna McDaniel with new Chairman Michael Whatley and Donald Trump\u2019s daughter-in-law, Lara, as co-chair.<\/strong><\/p>\n …The firings are a clear sign that the Trump campaign is focused on aligning the Republican Party with the campaign after months of feckless leadership at the RNC.<\/strong><\/p>\n Whatley, the former chair of the North Carolina GOP, said in his acceptance speech that the RNC \u201cwill be focused like a laser on getting out the vote and protecting the ballot\u201d and \u201cwill work hand in glove with President Trump\u2019s campaign.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Former Trump White House adviser, who is\u00a0set to become<\/a>\u00a0the RNC\u2019s new chief operating officer, Sean Cairncross,\u00a0reportedly sent an email<\/a>\u00a0that said a full evaluation of RNC staffing was being done \u201cto ensure the building is aligned with his vision of how to win in November.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n …The changes appear to having an immediate impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n Lara Trump\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0the RNC had the \u201clargest digital fundraising weekend since 2020.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Trump also told Fox News that she \u201cpersonally had $2.7 MILLION pledged to her on her first weekend as RNC co-chair\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n Let’s hope that at least one of the political parties will make an effort to listen to the voters.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It has become obvious in recent years that the people we are electing as our ‘representatives’ don’t always represent us.
