On Sunday, The Gateway Pundit<\/a> posted an article about a former teacher at a \u00a0middle school in Ludlow, Massachusetts, who was fired for informing a female student\u2019s father that the school was secretly referring to his daughter as a boy.<\/p>\n

A teacher fired over her concern for a student\u2019s welfare is not going down without a fight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bonnie Manchester, whom\u00a0MassResistance<\/a>\u00a0reported is a Christian, was sacked from a middle school in Ludlow, Massachusetts, back in 2021 after informing a female student\u2019s father that the school was secretly referring to his daughter as a boy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two years on, Manchester is filing a $10 million\u00a0lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0against Ludlow, its school board, current and former school district superintendents, and several former school employees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the defendants, the school\u2019s former librarian, is a woman who identifies as a man. She allegedly pushed books on children containing sexually explicit content, \u201ceither in the form of illustrations, explicit descriptions of sexual activity, or both.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cSome promoted a gay lifestyle, others trans,\u201d the lawsuit states. \u201cAll advanced a view wherein gender confusion, sexual experimentation, promiscuity, or all three were considered normal.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It used to be that teachers were concerned about the moral character of students. Now it seems that many teachers are undermining the moral values that most children are being taught at home.<\/p>\n

The article concludes:<\/p>\n

When Manchester decided to inform the girl\u2019s father of his daughter\u2019s secret \u201cgender transition<\/a>,\u201d the school launched an investigation into her behavior on the grounds that she had shared \u201cconfidential information.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

She was placed on administrative leave for several months as the investigation was carried out before eventually being fired after a decades-long career at the school. Her conduct, she was told, was \u201cunbecoming a teacher.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The school claimed Manchester had violated \u201ca purely fictitious School policy of confidentiality that simply did not exist,\u201d the lawsuit states, accusing the defendants of engaging in \u201cinvidious and egregious viewpoint discrimination violative of the First Amendment.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The suit was filed on Nov. 11 in a Massachusetts federal court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

MassResistance reported that the parents of the female student also filed a federal\u00a0lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0against the school district in April 2022. That lawsuit was\u00a0dismissed<\/a>\u00a0but is on appeal, according to the outlet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This case is taking place in Massachusetts, so it is in no way a sure thing that the teacher will win the lawsuit, but hopefully she will start a pattern of teachers being willing to tell parents what is going on with their children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
