On Saturday, Breitbart<\/a> reported that a fourth IRS whistleblower has come forward claiming that prosecutors in Washington, DC, and California previously blocked now-special counsel David Weiss from charging Hunter Biden in those jurisdictions.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Weiss went to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office \u2014 I can\u2019t recall the dates \u2014 and they did not agree to prosecute the case in D.C.,\u201d Waldon (IRS agent Darrell Waldon)<\/strong> told<\/a> the House Ways and Means Committee during a transcribed interview in September, the Washington Examiner<\/em> reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m aware that it was presented to the District of Columbia and, at some point, the Central District of California, I believe,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n

…As the investigation progressed, Weiss never charged Hunter Biden in the jurisdictions of Washington, DC, or California. Instead, he formed a sweetheart plea agreement with Hunter Biden that collapsed in July under judicial scrutiny. Shapley\u2019s testimony in April reportedly triggered the plea deal, filed in Delaware. Weiss later brought three gun-related charges in Delaware against Hunter Biden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This testimony is interesting because of the way it relates to the testimony of Attorney General Merrick Garland.<\/p>\n

The recent testimony by Waldon, who was Shapley\u2019s boss, is notable because Attorney General Merrick Garland testified Wednesday that nobody had the authority to block Weiss from\u00a0charging<\/a>\u00a0Hunter Biden, though \u201cthey could refuse to partner with him.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

“You said [Weiss] had complete authority, but he\u2019d already been turned down. He wanted to bring an action in D.C. and the US Attorney there said, \u2018No, you can\u2019t\u2019 \u2014 and then you go tell the U.S. Senate, under oath, that he has complete authority?\u201d House Oversight Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNo one had the authority to turn him down; they could refuse to partner with him.\u201d Garland replied.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYou can use whatever language \u2014 \u2018refuse to partner\u2019 is turning down,\u201d Jordan replied.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not the same under a well-known Justice Department practice,\u201d Garland claimed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Waldon\u00a0previously\u00a0confirmed Shapley\u2019s notes\u00a0presented to Congress\u00a0regarding\u00a0an\u00a0October 7, 2022, meeting between Waldon, Shapley, and Weiss, among others. \u201cDarrell asked me to shoot an update from today\u2019s meeting.
