On Thursday, Breitbart<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n President Joe Biden is asking Congress to approve $24 billion more in aid for Ukraine, which would bring<\/a> the total amount of U.S. taxpayer-funded aid to Ukraine since February 2022 to $135 billion.<\/strong><\/p>\n In contrast, Biden\u00a0announced<\/a> Wednesday that he would send $95 million from the\u00a0Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to aid in rebuilding Maui after the nation\u2019s deadliest fire in over a century, which has claimed more than 115 lives, with hundreds still unaccounted for.<\/strong><\/p>\n That’s barely a rounding error.<\/p>\n The article notes:<\/p>\n According to preliminary figures<\/a> from the University of Hawaii\u2019s Pacific Disaster Center and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, it will cost more than $5.52 billion to rebuild Lahaina, which was destroyed in the fires.<\/strong><\/p>\n The article concludes:<\/p>\n Biden had told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, \u201cI think we\u2019ve given more than any other nation combined in terms of assistance and cost and the American people are supportive.
