{"id":49767,"date":"2023-03-24T12:15:11","date_gmt":"2023-03-24T16:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=49767"},"modified":"2023-03-24T12:15:11","modified_gmt":"2023-03-24T16:15:11","slug":"justice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=49767","title":{"rendered":"Justice?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2023\/03\/22\/fbi-informant-january-6-defense\/?utm_medium=email&amp;pnespid=76dpBiBVM.IF0eSfoi2mTILT4gChCoQmI_ys2OJ6rhpmSFnLrK_9Exj167.aace_zjYEKGgw_w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Caller<\/a> posted a report about the trial of one of the Proud Boys involved in the January 6th protest.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>At least one Proud Boys member on trial over the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol had a previously-concealed FBI informant set to appear as a witness in their case, a defense attorney said Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Former Proud Boys national chairman Enrique Tarrio and members Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl and Dominic Pezzola are all on federal trial after being accused in a June 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/press-release\/file\/1510791\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">indictment<\/a> of conspiring \u201cto oppose the lawful transfer of presidential power by force.\u201d The government revealed Wednesday that a witness scheduled to appear in the defense case Thursday had been an FBI confidential human source from April 2021 to at least January 2023, Rehl\u2019s lawyer Carmen Hernandez said in a court filing obtained by American Greatness\u2019 Julie Kelly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article concludes:<\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail-featured-image gmail-articleFI gmail-relative\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Court filings previously suggested that the FBI had up to eight informants within the Proud Boys in the months surrounding the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, The New York Times\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/11\/14\/us\/politics\/fbi-informants-proud-boys-jan-6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The FBI declined the Daily Caller News Foundation\u2019s request for comment.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This is beyond disgusting. There are real questions as to the role the FBI played in instigating the violence on January 6th, and now we see that the FBI was spying on the defense of those charged with crimes on that day.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Every single person currently in jail for their actions on January 6th needs to be freed immediately.
