Congress is set to pass the omnibus spending bill before the end of the year unless common sense intervenes. On Wednesday, The U.K. Daily Mail<\/a> posted an article detailing some of the things in the bill.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the things in the omnibus bill:<\/p>\n

$375 million for a new FBI building<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$230 million for border security technology plus $1.56B in border processing funds that can’t be used for security\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$70 million for salmon\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$575 million for family planning where population growth harms the environment<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$65.7 million for international fisheries commissions\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$2.6 billion for January 6 prosecutions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$410 million to enhanced border security in the Middle East\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$200 million for the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$300 million to prepare for an influenza pandemic\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$7.5 million to study ‘domestic radicalization phenomenon’\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$3.6 million for Michelle Obama trail\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$26 million fo the House of Representatives’ Office of Diversity and Inclusion\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$2 million for the ‘Great Blacks in Wax’ museum in Baltimore\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$3 million for the American LGBTQ+ Museum in New York\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$3 million for bee-friendly highways\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

$15.2 million for a Vaccine Injury Trust Fund<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Designation of a Ukrainian Independence Park in Washington, D.C.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Renaming of a federal building in San Francisco to the Nancy Pelosi Federal Building<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Renaming an existing school lunch program the\u00a0Patrick Leahy Farm to School Program\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Renaming the\u00a0Lake Champlain Basin Program as the Patrick Leahy Lake Champlain Basin Program<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Renaming an FBI building in Alabama after Richard Shelby<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
