{"id":48142,"date":"2022-11-20T21:01:12","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T02:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=48142"},"modified":"2022-11-20T21:01:12","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T02:01:12","slug":"we-need-to-watch-this-case-closely","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=48142","title":{"rendered":"We Need To Watch This Case Closely"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/breaking-ariz-ag-takes-action-ballots-reported-black-duffle-bags-officials-broke-election-laws-state-demands-names\/?utm_source=Facebook&amp;utm_medium=PostTopSharingButtons&amp;utm_campaign=websitesharingbuttons&amp;fbclid=IwAR0XT3J2wHmnNah13_r-GmmhVeP0GfuecJ_HyrUIzA5uzsyBu5O8JEgVT-A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Western Journal<\/a> reported that<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright \u2014 with the Elections Integrity Unit \u2014 wrote a letter to the Maricopa County officials Saturday demanding an accounting for the widespread ballot tabulation and ballot printer problems seen during the general election on Nov. 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Among the most troubling issues raised in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azag.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-11\/221119%20Letter%20to%20Maricopa%20County%20re%202022%20General%20Election%20Administration.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the letter<\/a> directed to Thomas Liddy with the Maricopa County Attorney\u2019s Office was the apparent co-mingling of ballots in black duffle bags in at least one polling location, which were successfully run through the on-site tabulators with those put in \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-24-videos-az-voters-documenting-spoiled-ballots-broken-tabulators-dreaded-box-3\/?ff_source=Facebook&amp;ff_medium=PostTopSharingButtons&amp;ff_campaign=websitesharingbuttons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Door 3<\/a>\u201d to be sent to the Election Department\u2019s downtown Phoenix tabulation center because they could not be read.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cThe Elections Integrity Unit (\u201cUnit\u201d) of the Arizona Attorney General\u2019s Office (\u201cAGO\u201d) has received hundreds of complaints since Election Day pertaining to issues related to the administration of the 2022 General Election in Maricopa County,\u201d Wright opened her letter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cThese complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa\u2019s lawful compliance with Arizona election law,\u201d she continued.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Wright wrote that statements made by Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates and County Recorder Stephen Richer, along with other official communications from the county appear to confirm potential election law violations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, election fraud has been part of American elections for many years. Chicago Mayor Richard Daly is said to have delivered Ilinois&#8217; electoral votes to John Kennedy in 1960 under questionable circumstances. What we need to do is take measures to limit the amount of fraud possible&#8211;voter id laws, ballot harvesting laws that are enforced, signature verification on absentee ballots, etc. We may eventually have to go to paper ballots and hand counts. I think the purple finger in Iraq worked really well.
