There are a lot of signs of a dying republic–high taxes, corruption in high places, lack or basic morality, the end of the middle class, etc. Unfortunately, America currently exhibits all of them. The one I am most concerned about presently is the total cultural rot that has accelerated in America since the mid-1960’s.<\/p>\n
On Friday, The Washington Times<\/a> reported the following:<\/p>\n House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Friday she\u2019ll appear on an episode of a popular drag queen show.<\/strong><\/p>\n Mrs. Pelosi, a California Democrat who represents San Francisco, will make \u201ca special Pride Month appearance\u201d on episode five of \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race All Stars 7,\u201d aides said Friday. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The show is described as \u201ca group of talented drag queens who compete in challenges to impress host RuPaul, the world\u2019s most famous drag queen, to win a cash prize along with a crown and the title of America\u2019s Next Drag Superstar.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n The article concludes:<\/p>\n So-called family-friendly drag performances have popped up across the country, including in Dallas, Texas; Palm Beach, Florida; and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington to commemorate Pride Month.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The acts have drawn outrage from critics who say the performances appear sexual and should not be viewed by children.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said his state\u2019s child endangerment laws could be invoked if there are drag shows for children, although he did not comment specifically on the Palm Beach event.<\/strong><\/p>\n Mr. DeSantis slammed the Dallas \u201cDrag your kids to pride\u201d event, which took place earlier this month at an adult venue decorated with neon signs laced with sexual innuendo. Video went viral of drag queens dancing with the children and taking money from them.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThat is not something children should be exposed to,\u201d Mr. DeSantis said Thursday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Drag entertainment is something that is going to happen, and some people are going to go to it. I understand that.
