Instead, he is being charged with entering and remaining within a \u201crestricted building or grounds without lawful authority,\u201d disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds, knowingly engaging in an act of physical violence against a person or property on restricted grounds, and willfully injuring or committing any depredation against any property of the U.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article concludes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The arrest comes at a conspicuous time. The controversial Democrat-led House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol incident is slated to hold a public hearing on Thursday evening that many corporate news outlets will likely broadcast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Despite the planned House hearing, fewer and fewer Americans seem to care, <a href=\"https:\/\/fivethirtyeight.com\/features\/americans-are-moving-on-from-jan-6-even-if-congress-hasnt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according<\/a> to an aggregate of polls from FiveThirtyEight, and a poll from NBC News, released this week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/22053192-220222-nbc-news-may-poll-with-jan-6-questions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found<\/a> that less than half of surveyed people believe former President Donald Trump bore the sole responsibility for the Jan. 6 breach.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Meanwhile, a Michigan poll\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.deadlinedetroit.com\/articles\/30619\/poll_after_purge_of_candidates_ryan_kelley_who_was_at_jan_6_capitol_riot_leads_gop_race_for_governor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conducted<\/a> in May suggested that Kelley\u2014a real estate agent\u2014was leading the Republican primary race with 19 percent, followed by Kevin\u00a0Rinke with 15 percent, Tudor Dixon with 9 percent, Garrett Soldano with 6 percent, and Ralph Rebandt with 1 percent.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What an amazing coincidence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday, The Epoch Times reported that Ryan Kelley, who is leading in the Republican primary for Governor of Michigan, was arrested on June 9th for his participation in the events of January 6th.
