McDaniel (Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel) told Fox News on Wednesday that she believes it bodes well for the general election in November, but she cautioned GOP supporters not to become complacent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She pointed first to Tuesday\u2019s elections in Pennsylvania.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing that we\u2019re taking away from last night is, first of all, Republicans outpaced Democrat turnout by 100,000 votes. That\u2019s the first time we\u2019ve ever beaten the Democrats in 10 years in this type of primary situation,\u201d McDaniel said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Republican voters cast over 1.3 million ballots<\/a> to Democrats\u2019 slightly less than 1.2 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That would be very good news for the Republicans in the mid-term elections assuming that the mid-terms would be an honest election.<\/p>\n

The article concludes:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know that inflation is hurting average Americans. We know that gas prices are hurting people. We know that there is a baby formula shortage that this administration is not addressing,\u201d McDaniel added.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems that every time a crisis comes up, they\u2019re ill-prepared, and that\u2019s why we\u2019re seeing voters look at Republicans and say, \u2018Maybe we need to switch leadership in Washington and put Republicans in charge of the Senate and the House in the midterm elections,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GOP leader is cautious about predicting a red wave in the fall, pointing out that Republicans only need a net gain of five seats in the House to take back that chamber and just one to retake the Senate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want anyone to get complacent,\u201d McDaniel said. \u201cWe all need to work hard for every single victory.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

We need a conservative takeover of Congress (whichever party those conservatives belong to) to put an end to the destructive policies of the Biden administration. It’s time to become energy independent again.
