{"id":45303,"date":"2022-04-18T08:22:34","date_gmt":"2022-04-18T12:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=45303"},"modified":"2022-04-18T08:22:34","modified_gmt":"2022-04-18T12:22:34","slug":"one-reason-americans-are-voting-with-their-feet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=45303","title":{"rendered":"One Reason Americans Are Voting With Their Feet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/news\/illinois-free-health-care-undocumented-immigrants-ages-55-64\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox 32 in Chicago<\/a> reported on Saturday that Illinois has expanded its free health program to include health benefits for immigrant seniors (that includes undocumented immigrants&#8211;aka illegal aliens ages 55 to 64).<\/p>\n<p>The article lists the services that will be provided:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Covered services include doctor and hospital visits, lab tests, physical and occupational therapy, mental health, substance abuse disorder services, dental and vision services, and prescription drugs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>To qualify for the free health care, immigrants need to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-v-03e8ff79=\"\">\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\"><strong>Be between the ages of 55-64.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\"><strong>Be either an undocumented immigrant or a legal permanent resident of the United States for less than five years.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-03e8ff79=\"\"><strong>Have household income is at or below $18,754 for one person; $25,268 for two people.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The free health care will expand even further on July 1 to cover eligible adults ages 42 to 54.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The obvious question is, &#8220;Is the same healthcare available to people in Illinois who have been legally in America for more than five years?&#8221; Are Americans obligated to pay for healthcare for people who are not legally in their country?
